Phonzy would have never cleared the waiver wire to land on our practice squad. It was keep him on the active roster or trade him. It's unfortunate he's gone because I do think he will be a good player in time, but I love Cox and Thompson so I don't think we are making a bad decision.

Sup guys,

my take on the cuts is that most of them were expected. I was one of those that didnt believe phonzy would get cut and that if he did he would be signed to the practice squad. But I was good with a trade to as well. But not an outright cut. So we traded a first round pick for 7th which is basically what the browns did with brady quinn. Only difference is the browns gave Brady Quinn more time to develop. This always happens to us tho, we cut a CB and he becoems a pretty compitent starter on another team. Like Foxy. And the silliest thing is that we traded him for a pass catching TE something we had in Sheffler, and to make things even funnier, trade to the same team we traded sheffler too. Talk about hilarious and a lil ridundant. But I guess people just had to go there seperate ways.

As far as lagarette blount goes, he can punch as many people as he wants in our practice as long as he moves the freaking ball cuz lord knows we cant move it. And the only guy that could move it is injured for the year. Not to mention was going to be suspended anyway. not exactly high character. I want to say get blount, but i dont think its worth the risk because it means we will have to drop someoen off the 53 mans roster. TRB out...

Glad to see McD pick up a backup runner and tackle. Both areas we are very thin in. Plus, with as injury prone Bucky is, we'll be needed a good backup runner for Moreno real soon. It was really scary to look at the depth chart Saturday and see no backup listed for Harris. Looking forward to some real football.

Yes Blount would be very nice to have and would never get shut down in those short yardage situations!! I would love to have him it's just that the players and coaches would have to watch out from getting punched, haha!!

Some of you may think the phonzy trade was a little unfair because phonzy was essentially a 1st round pick and we only got a 7th round TE in return. But I figured it out. Check it out.

Gronkowski is a 7th rounder plus another 7th round pick we got equals 14, dived by John Elway (7) is 2. The number phonzy wore in college. He then changed his number to 22 in the pros because he thought he was twice as good but what he didn't know that 22 plus 1 is 23. (Jim Carey's cursed number) hence dropping his talent to 7th round caliber. Equals fair. Football math. Boom roasted.

Exactly texark. Shanny wasn't a draft guru to be exact and he certainly was not good with the free agent pickups sometimes you win sometimes you don't the draft is one big gamble
