With the preseason complete and the 2010 season opener approaching, the new Broncos season has kicked off. All of us in Broncos Country could not be more ready.
Entering my third season on this incredible team, I had no idea how fast it would actually fly by. But here we are again. Summer is coming to an end, and you can practically taste the energy in the air. That first regular season game is just around the corner.
From new players that have the town talking, to predictions and hopes for the season, to the new cheerleaders, or “rookies”, on our team, this entire organization is pumped up and ready. Each year, new additions to both teams help drive motivation for the coming season, but it’s no easy task to join a new team, let alone one with such high expectations and history of excellence, like the legacy of the Denver Broncos.
From the moment my name was called at the finals three years ago, I have grown to understand what this means. From the bottom up, people within this organization strive for excellence, and nothing less. Whether it’s making sure the Broncos are a part of the Denver community, or striving to have the best starting lineup that our fans can be proud of, everything is done to make sure this team upholds the standards that are expected of us.
For a rookie joining the cheerleading team, it can be pretty overwhelming, in the best way possible. With hard practices, lots of dances, learning how to always represent the Broncos in the best way possible, and physically and mentally getting prepared for that first step on the field, it’s a big job. Now, after two games under our belt, I must say that our rookies have far exceeded expectations. The entire first year on this team is a learning experience, and it certainly does not stop there.
As a veteran, we never stop striving to better ourselves as teammates, and we’re expected to lead the rookies and share the legacy of our team. When it comes to game day, one thing we always stress, is how to “be present” in every moment. You only have that one moment to give it your all, try your hardest, and make fellow alumni cheerleaders and Broncos fans proud.
It has been an honor to share the legacy with the new women on this team, and shocking how fast three years goes by when you’re having fun!
Whether it’s one of our new players, or a new cheerleader, the new rookies help kick off the new season, and will be part of the future of the Denver Broncos legacy that all of us here in Broncos Country know and love.

We not only have a young coaching staff we have a young gm and they have made mistakes no one is perfect but they will hopefully learn from them and at least they had the guts to do what they did
well put marshisboss
I never thought people were so hatful. yes i dislike alot of people but the hate for McD on THAT site is painful. and if all things were to be known or brought out nd x-rayed like McD is having done to him, I am almost sure no one would pass. i think mcd has a good plan that is going to work. not every draft pick works out.
OK I looked it up. in 05 we had 6 picks only 3 are laying and that is with other teams. in the 96 draft 7 picks, 3 starters, 1 backup, 2 with other teams 1 out of league. in 07 we only had 4 picks, 1 starter, 2 backups 1 with other team. in 08 we had 9 picks 3 starters 2 backups 1 with another team and 3 no longer in the NFL 09 we got 10 (count then 10) picks 1 starter 8 backups and 1 not playing. that will change this season. my point is NOT ALL DRAFT PICKS WORK OUT.
THAT SHOULD READ IN THE 06 DRAFT NOT THE 96 DRAFT
Exactly texark. Shanny wasn’t a draft guru to be exact and he certainly was not good with the free agent pickups sometimes you win sometimes you don’t the draft is one big gamble
Some of you may think the phonzy trade was a little unfair because phonzy was essentially a 1st round pick and we only got a 7th round TE in return. But I figured it out. Check it out.
Gronkowski is a 7th rounder plus another 7th round pick we got equals 14, dived by John Elway (7) is 2. The number phonzy wore in college. He then changed his number to 22 in the pros because he thought he was twice as good but what he didn’t know that 22 plus 1 is 23. (Jim Carey’s cursed number) hence dropping his talent to 7th round caliber. Equals fair. Football math. Boom roasted.
Man I am one Bronco fan (poster) glad to see the season is starting. lol

Titans cut Legarrette Blount RB……. PLEASE PLEASE PICK HIM UP…. HE COULD PLAY IN THIS WEEKS GAME , BROWN IS HURT PUT HIM ON THE PRACTICE SQUAD
Yes Blount would be very nice to have and would never get shut down in those short yardage situations!! I would love to have him it’s just that the players and coaches would have to watch out from getting punched, haha!!
Glad to see McD pick up a backup runner and tackle. Both areas we are very thin in. Plus, with as injury prone Bucky is, we’ll be needed a good backup runner for Moreno real soon. It was really scary to look at the depth chart Saturday and see no backup listed for Harris. Looking forward to some real football.
Blount has issues… you dont want him punching every guy on our team.. do you?
Sup guys,
my take on the cuts is that most of them were expected. I was one of those that didnt believe phonzy would get cut and that if he did he would be signed to the practice squad. But I was good with a trade to as well. But not an outright cut. So we traded a first round pick for 7th which is basically what the browns did with brady quinn. Only difference is the browns gave Brady Quinn more time to develop. This always happens to us tho, we cut a CB and he becoems a pretty compitent starter on another team. Like Foxy. And the silliest thing is that we traded him for a pass catching TE something we had in Sheffler, and to make things even funnier, trade to the same team we traded sheffler too. Talk about hilarious and a lil ridundant. But I guess people just had to go there seperate ways.
As far as lagarette blount goes, he can punch as many people as he wants in our practice as long as he moves the freaking ball cuz lord knows we cant move it. And the only guy that could move it is injured for the year. Not to mention was going to be suspended anyway. not exactly high character. I want to say get blount, but i dont think its worth the risk because it means we will have to drop someoen off the 53 mans roster. TRB out…

lol we all remember this
Phonzy would have never cleared the waiver wire to land on our practice squad. It was keep him on the active roster or trade him. It’s unfortunate he’s gone because I do think he will be a good player in time, but I love Cox and Thompson so I don’t think we are making a bad decision.
