Greetings from Cancun!

July 25th, 2012 - 10:46am by cheerleaders

Hola Broncos Country! Greetings from Cancun, Mexico, where the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders have arrived to shoot their 2013 Swimsuit Calendar! The Riu Palace Peninsula & Apple Vacations are our hosts for the week and this beautiful new resort is AMAZING! Beautiful pools, beaches, accommodations, delicious food and a very attentive and professional staff have made the first few days of our calendar shoot a trip of a lifetime.

Check out today’s photo gallery of the calendar shoot, featuring behind-the-scenes shots from days one and two. Again, we can’t thank Apple Vacations and the Riu Palace Peninsula Resort enough for hosting this year’s Denver Broncos Cheerleader Calendar!

I heard about DJ learning a new position as well but don’t know what they’ll do now. Would like to see Woodyard and Trevathan both succeed!! Love it if one of those guys turned into an Al Wilson type of player!

For the Squid fans (like myself) some good news.

    http://www.denverbroncos.com/news-and-blogs/article-1/Thompson-Focused-on-Future/2f44db64-ab09-42a3-8aa6-9124c03df36b

I really hope he can do enough to stay on roster.

  3. broncosfreak718 says:

    Me too ab!

He’s been pretty solid so far when healthy. He’ll have some very tough competiton though. I believe Omar Bolden will beat him out possibly but we will see!!! May the best player win at each of their position!!! We need the best of the best players!! No favorites will be played!!

  4. Royalbroncofan1 says:

We were just talking about squid yesterday… must have heard us…lol!

  5. Royalbroncofan1 says:

If the Broncos carry 6 DB’s Thompson & Bolden should make it.

  6. NewfieBronco says:

    LET THE COMPETITIONS BEGIN!!! Whooooop!

  7. Royalbroncofan1 says:

I’m thinking Judie will be Bolden’s main competition.

Carter, Bush, Robinson for the 6 the sixth spot to push Squid.

Looking forward to the best of the best making the 2012 squad!!

  8. broncosfreak718 says:

I would like to see Judie be the returner for us. I watched some highlights and he looked very good!! Would like for both Judie and Bolden to both make the team!!

  9. broncosfreak718 says:

Bailey, Porter, Florence, Thompson, Harris, and Bolden. Judie will have to make an impact on special teams if he wants to make the team but I think he will be our starting return man, at least I hope!

  10. Royalbroncofan1 says:

I see freak… then his main comp would most likely be WR Eric Page. Should be interesting.

  11. Royalbroncofan1 says:

Just realized Squid gave up #22 to Tracy Porter. Squid has been assigned #21.

  12. broncosfreak718 says:

I hope Judie makes it as our returner. He seems like a more shifter player than Page even though I am wanting Page to make our Wide Receiving Corps roster! I think Manning could make Page seem huge!! I am very excited to see how Page performs in training camp and the preseason! Guy has some great receiving skills!

  13. alaskanbronco06 says:

I like the idea of having 7 CBs on roster. Bailey Florence Porter Harris Bolden Squid and Judie as a returner. I also want to see Page and Robinson make out WRs over Hill and Willis.

  14. tlcat06 says:

Hey guys! Glad to see the blog busy today…. Cannot waaaaait until tomorrow though! Von has been working out with JPP doing yoga. I love it! LOL these reporters ask stupid questions. Anyway. He said that he is looking forward to fighting against Clady and Franklin and not so much gawking at Manning! LOL obviously, I put it into my own words, but that’s the gist.

  15. tlcat06 says:

Judie and Page were JUST cut seconds ago. Sorry guys.

  16. FTR says:

    Wished I was in Cancun!
    Tic Tock!
    FTR

  17. tlcat06 says:

Eric Page has a torn ACL at least that’s what they’re reporting.

  18. alaskanbronco06 says:

Wow Cat. That really disappoints me. But injuries happen.

  19. tlcat06 says:

    I know! ;-(

  20. alaskanbronco06 says:

Man I was really expecting both to make it and do good as returners.

  21. alaskanbronco06 says:

Maybe next year after they heal we will take a shot on them.

  22. tlcat06 says:

That’s what I’m thinking. ;-( disc problems are nothing to trifle with though, just ask Johnny Knox.

  23. killerkod says:

Let’s get this party started! lol

  24. alaskanbronco06 says:

Lol got it fixed I see Kod?

True Cat but they both next year would be low risk low reward players like this year.

  25. tlcat06 says:

Glad you got it fixed Kod! What happened?

I agree 100%. Oh, btw, I think the Patriots are crazy to have so many TE. They cannot all be as good as Gronk.

  26. Royalbroncofan1 says:

Wow — that was quick.. medical reasons. I’m sure Andre Caldwell will be involved in the return game…most likely kickoff.

  27. alaskanbronco06 says:

Speaking of the Pats they cut Addai for medical reasons lol.

Caldwell im sure will step up. With two spots open now we may look to sign a return specialist.

  28. tlcat06 says:

    Well there ya go! LOL

  29. tlcat06 says:

There ya go. I like that Royal. Caldwell is way better than sticking Eric or Porter back there.

  30. alaskanbronco06 says:

    Mike Klis
The biggest news in the Broncos’ press gathering on the eve of training camp: DJ Williams won’t be working with the No. 1 defense at outside linebacker. Wesley Woodyard will get the first crack. The news isn’t startling because Williams will begin serving a six-game suspension. But he was with the No. 1s during the OTAs and minicamp.

  31. tlcat06 says:

Good!!! That means we get to see how good Woodyard and Trethvlan (sp?) do!!

  32. alaskanbronco06 says:

I really hope Treviathan sees time with the 1st team along with W2. WOnt know which would work better unless you see them both.

  33. tlcat06 says:

How do you say that name? I can’t figure it out phonetically.

  34. alaskanbronco06 says:

    Trev-i-athan I believe Cat.

  35. killerkod says:

I’m not sure what happened………came to my computer at home and my user was still logged in and working………so I wasn’t going to jinx it by trying to sign out and back in! lol

  36. killerkod says:

Willliams not with the 1st unit is the first step towards his release……..at least that’s my opinion………..

  37. tlcat06 says:

AB, ok, m gonna eekp trying. It might be like Unmenyoria and I’ll have to hear it a few times before I say it right!

  38. tlcat06 says:

Kod, I disagree. They aren’t going to have him for six games and maybe more after he has his hearing for that second DUI. might as well be prepaed!!

  39. alaskanbronco06 says:

I agree with Cat. Hes used to being a starter so they prepare for his suspension and work with him learning the new position and just help him learn with the second unit.

  40. oldsouthstander says:

    KOD: Got your BBBP.

    There’s electricity in the air!!!!!!!

  41. socalbigbroncofan says:

Did manning hurt his ankel in camp or something.

  42. broncosfreak718 says:

I haven’t heard anything socal! Why do you ask?? I see no reports about it! Camp doesn’t start until tomorrow

  43. socalbigbroncofan says:

Thought so. I am working and got a text from someone that he hurt himself. Probaly just joking around. Thanks.

  44. tlcat06 says:

Yeah there has been nothing on twitter about that or NFL.com and there is a meeting right now that they’re all at, no real work today except for physicals. People are messing with your head!!! How rude!

  45. tlcat06 says:

Just saw a picture of him going into the meeting and he’s walking just fine!

  46. socalbigbroncofan says:

Thanks cat. Thats what happens when u live around charger and raider fans. All friends and family. Lol.

  47. horsepower1 says:

Whoa!! You almost had me going there for a second.

Lord, i pray that you set your angels out ahead of each and every Bronco player guide their steps, keep them safe and that they will play above and beyond their expectations. Give them complete focus and endurance to be victorious till the end. (And of course huge running lanes for our running backs and passing lanes for our receivers.) And may the Defense sack the QB a record amount of times and intercept or strip the ball even more.

    Thanks lord.
    In your name i pray.

  48. tlcat06 says:

SoCal… No prob! I tried to get the link but sometimes that’s difficult to do.

Found out today that I’m surrounded by Bronco haters in my class next year, charger, Oakland, and KC fans. I’m going to have to make a rule that we can only talk about it the week that we play them otherwise I’ll go nuts! LOL

He looks more fit than I’ve seen him in ages. I cannot wait!!!

  49. tlcat06 says:

    Nice prayer, horse!!!

(don’t you like it when they tell you “you’re posting too fast, slow down!” LOL
