Life as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader is something that cannot be summed up with just a few simple words. Rather it is a life you have to experience firsthand to fully understand the power and meaning behind the title.
I am well into my rookie season as a DBC and it has been such an amazing experience thus far. The opportunities and experiences I have been afforded are insurmountable to things I have done before in my life. Relationships I have formed, not only with the cheerleaders and personnel, but also with the many fans and children I have had the privilege of interacting with, will always be something I cherish long after my career here is over.
The most memorable moments as a DBC have been working with our charities. Two of our biggest charities are The Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver and the Global Down Syndrome Foundation. Working with these children is the most humbling and rewarding element for me as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. Knowing I have such a huge impact on their lives gives me a sense of honor and a strong responsibility. It pushes me to be the best person I can be and motivates me to achieve more every day, not only for myself, but for those who look up to me.
We are so involved in our community and always willing to be a present and positive influence on others. The beautiful faces and amazing dance ability is only etching the surface. Each and every woman on this team has a caring heart and takes this responsibility seriously. Just think…our time on the field is limited and less frequent compared to the time we spend with others, making a difference.
