Hey Broncos Country!
So for my blog this week, I thought I’d let you in on a little inside scoop of the gamenight entertainment you won’t want to miss when our Broncos take on the New York Jets on Thursday. Be ready, because we are going to turn a normal football halftime show into a hat-tipping and boot slapping concert featuring none other than country pop singer, Jessie James. If you haven’t heard of her, you’ll definitely want to check her out. She’s one of our favorite artists to dance to and we have used three of her hit songs for our gameday routines.
Jessie James is the debut self-titled album by singer and songwriter, Jessie James. The album was released on Aug. 11, 2009, and debuted on the Billboard Top 200 Charts at No. 23 in its first week, selling about 18,575 copies. The song, “Wanted”, which is the song she will be performing at the halftime show, was the album’s leading single and peaked at No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Jessie’s song, “Blue Jeans” was also featured on the soundtrack of the film, Confessions of a Shopaholic. For me, this is one of my dreams becoming a reality.
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted to be a backup dancer or in a music video, even if it meant I was in the background at the club scene, I’d take it! When our director, Teresa Shear, shared the news of our guest performer and told us that we were going to dance with her, I was ecstatic! The news got even better when I got chosen to be one of the six Denver Broncos Cheerleaders to dance alongside Jessie. She’s been so fun to work with and although she’s tiny, she’s got a voice that will knock your socks off! We’ve been working hard on this performance and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got — Jessie and the DBC! See you there!

side note….can’t remember what blogger mentioned previously about Fox’s comments about Tebow being screwed if it were a different offense. Bay, I agree with you sir, Tebow would agree! LOL
However, they asked Steve Mariucci (sp) about that very comment and his response was hilarious!
He says…”Well, hey you put Tom Brady in this option offense and he’s screwed!”
