Hi Broncos Fans! Who would have thought the Broncos, who were 1-4 at the beginning of this season, would be in the playoffs and on their way to play the Patriots this weekend in Foxborough?! This being my rookie year, I am so extremely lucky and happy to have been at the Broncos first playoff game in six years and witness them achieve such an amazing victory against the Steelers. This game was one for the history books.
Every Broncos fanatic I have spoken to after the game on Jan. 8 has told me it was the most amazing game the Broncos have ever played. It was such as amazing game because not only did the Broncos win, but the support the team had at the game from Broncos fans was unbelievable. The roar of the stadium at the start of overtime as Demaryius Thomas caught Tim Tebow’s 80-yard pass to win the game brought chills to my body. As I looked up into the stadium, I have never seen such a sight. Broncos Fans were on their feet dancing in celebration. No one was in a rush to leave the stadium after that play, and the players were rushing to the field to share the moment with their teammates after such an amazing victory. But it didn’t stop there. After the players huddled in the middle of the field, they rushed to their fans and went around the field to celebrate with all the fans who stuck around till the end.
As the celebration continued I looked at my fellow cheerleaders and all of them shared the same emotion that I was feeling… tears of joy! We couldn’t believe what had just happened. Even though the game was over and our duties as cheerleaders were done, we didn’t want to leave the field. We stayed and continued to dance and celebrate the moment together as teammates and with the fans. For everyone on our team, it was the first time in a long time the Broncos had won a playoff game and we were a part of it. We didn’t want that moment to end.
The Broncos victory against the Steelers wasn’t the only moment of the game that brought tears of joy — the national anthem and halftime performance also brought those emotions to the field. A huge surprise for all the Broncos fans at Sports Authority Field at Mile High was when Rascal Flatts came to sing the National Anthem. It was a perfect way to start the game when the giant American flag came across the field and the jets flew above the stadium while they sang. It was an absolute beautiful moment.
Then during halftime, the talented Jesse James came back to Sports Authority Field at Mile High to perform. The Broncos brought in hundreds of dancers to perform alongside her and the Broncos Cheerleaders. The first song she performed was ‘When You Say My Name’, her upcoming single off of her new album. The special part about the halftime show however was the second song Jesse performed, Military Man, which she dedicated to her father who was a colonel in the military. During her performance, men and women stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs who recently returned home from Iraq on their fourth tour came onto the field and were met by their loved ones. It was a humbling moment to be among those heroes who served our country and made it home safe and sound.
Overall the Broncos win against the Steelers will always be engraved into my mind. I am so proud to be a part of such an amazing organization and I hope the Broncos can bring what they brought to Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Jan. 8 to Boston this weekend against the Patriots. As John Fox said, “People said you couldn’t, people said you can’t, and you did!” GO BRONCOS and DO IT AGAIN!

GOOD MORNING BRONCO COUNTRY…..LETS GET READTY TO STAMPEDE!
E.E.T. ALL DAY BABY!
I’m sure DAllen is gonna have the boys play a lot of man coverage and press the WR’s and TE’s.. I’m calling out Joe Mays.. And I’m excited to keep seeing Ayers develop into the player that he is capable of.. We need QC to play a great center field and make their WR/TE’s feel cautious when crossing the middle..
Just heard that ls Lonnie Paxtons personal issue has to do with pregnancy complications with his wife.
I wish the best for the Paxtons. No wonder everyone said they would be gone too.
Just for the heck of it, I got this report from another source. You will know why I don’t trust weather people for reliable info after you read this compared to the agriculture weather I just posted.
Today
Partly Cloudy / Wind
Today 32° F High Feels Like: 22°
Chance of Precip: 20%
Wind: W at 21 mph
Windy with a mix of clouds and sun. Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s. Winds W at 20 to 30 mph.
Tonight
Mostly Clear
Tonight Low 8° F
Chance of Snow: 10%
Wind: NW at 19 mph
Mostly clear. Low 8F.
Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph.
monster run game will be the key. Let’s STAMPEDE THEIR BUTTS TO THE GROUD. Pretty boy wonder will fumble at least once today.
Oh yeah – I also want to see Von Miller stuff his face with two hands!!!! GET SOME!!!
With that wind blowing 15 to 25 or 3o mph, there will not be much throwing done by either qb I imagine.
That should be an advantage for us right there. I don’t think NE has much of a run offense do they. They are mostly yards after catch if memory serves me.
I think the NE’s O-Line is pretty big and solid.. I hope our pass rush can penetrate and put pressure on Brady, b/c no one can hold coverage forever..
Last on my game day wish list is quick passes to Royal if they play a zone
I want to see Von throw Brady around like Sanchez..

Can’t wait to sprinkle a little Dont’a Hightower or Courtney Upshaw on this defense baby!!!
I`m so excited about tonight. I feel like a kid in a candy store, sheer delight. GOOOOOO ORANGE AND BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!
My heart and prayers go out to Lonnie Paxton and his wife. I hope that the Baby is fine> God be with them, please!!
Pats ranking on NFL.com
PTS per game avg. 32.1 (3rd)
YDS per game avg. 428.0 (2nd)
PASS YDS per game avg. 317.8 (2nd)
RUSH YDS per game avg. 110.2 (20th)
I still think that Brady is not going to be able to throw much for three reasons. (1) is our defense is going to be in his face all game (2) the wind blowing like crazy and (3) Brady can’t throw from sitting on the bench. We are going to control the clock by running it down their throats.
My thoughts and prayers too to the Paxton family. For him to mis this game it really must be something serious. I think I read they are having twins.
Agreed.. I hope all is well
BFE, Sorry I let ya down bro. I`m a terrible night wachman. LOL
All prayers to the Paxton family.
Btw, I hope it’s not gonna be hard for all the LSU fans in here when we draft an Alabama ‘Backer..
Safety Mark Barron.
I’m gonna be at the draft again this year for sure, but I can get there late this year… LOL!!!
Barron, Carter, Bruton, and Moore would be a nice Safety rotation
OT, that would be a really fun experience.
Barron could be the next Dawk and a Safety for us for life.
I hope Moore figures it out for 2012.
I wouldn’t mind trying to move up so we can secure both Barron and either Hightower or Upshaw.. Been awhile since we’ve gone up on a trade, and I think this might be the one..
Actually, last time we went up was for Tebow*..
*but we traded down twice before moving back up to snag TT in the late 1st round if you remember..
I don`t want to lose future draft picks, but I hear ya.
Strand – It’s a blast, I’m lucky it’s in my back yard.. They stopped serving alcohol at Radio City during the draft..LOL!! You got to pre-game or get creative
Windy conditions bode well for us, we establish the run game, and limit NE’s possessions. Good solid DEFENSE. STAMPEDE!
I`ve only been to New York once. My ex-wife is from Upstate New York. Beautiful part of the country.
I never miss the draft, no way!
Thats the fun part, getting creative, partying before the real party. LOL
I just really got into the draft hard core style over last few years with all this change.. Now we’re finally “building through the draft”, plus getting results from our recent draft picks already, and it feels great!!!
Right now we can not afford to give up any draft picks. Actually, picking up a few wouldn’t hurt a bit either. Once we get our team a little more solidified in all areas, then we might look at giving up draft picks. That may be a couple years down the road though. At least we are not picking second or first, which is where we were headed in the 1st part of this season.
I only really know the NYC area, and it’s both great and awful, in more ways than I can describe.. LOL! I’m not a native NYer, so I can see both as clear as day.. This coming from someone who’s been here close to 20 years with no immediate plans to leave..
For the record I grew up in Denver and Bleed Orange and Blue baby!!
I hear you about not giving up picks Strand, and I highly doubt we move up, just was saying I would be on board if we did.. With Bunkley playing the was he has, we actually don’t go DT 1st, and same with Harris at CB and even Carter/Bruton at S.. Ironically, LB is both the position we happen to need the most, and it’s what will be the best available when we pick, either Hightower or Upshaw

classic commercial, our line must perform today!
Lol bomber! Never seen that before…
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!
