Hey Broncos fans! My name is Kara and as a rookie this year I cannot even put into words what it was like to take the field for the very first time, but I am going to try to give you a little taste. From the minute I approached the stadium there was a whole new energy that filled the air and you could just feel that it was game day in Broncos Country. Knowing that this was going to be a day of many firsts for me as a DBC, I couldn’t help but smile all day. I felt like a small child in a candy store, wide-eyed and full of energy!
Much like finals night at auditions, I felt a mix of nerves and excitement throughout the entire day. However, I must say that the excitement outweighed the nerves this time, in that I absolutely couldn’t wait to take the field. I was also quite emotional throughout the day and during the game. I caught myself tearing up a few times throughout the night, one time in particular being in the last two minutes of the game. As the time clock was winding down, my line captain and fourth year veteran, Jess, looked over to me and told me to “take it all in”. It couldn’t have been better advice as I looked into the stands with the lights shining on all of the orange and blue and I knew that I would never have that special moment again. It was simply amazing and I will never forget that first game!
The second game against the Seahawks was just as, if not more exciting! It was this game that I was in awe of YOU, the Broncos fans. Your enthusiasm and loyalty is astounding, and it is your energy that makes it that much more fun for us DBC to be out there on the field. I was also in awe of the players during this game. Not to make you all jealous, but I must say we have the best seat in the house! Being the huge football fan that I am, it doesn’t get much better than seeing the plays as up close as we do and actually hearing the hard hits!

Well Broncos Country, with two home pre-season wins on record, we’re now gearing up to cheer the Broncos on to a victory at the regular season home opener on Monday September 12th. I hope you are all just as excited as we are and will be there cheering on the best team in the NFL for what will sure be a night to remember. Let’s Go Broncos!!!

WOW, we beat N-E!
lol atleast thats what i guess will happen
Yeah, for the first game score predictions entries will be taken from the 5th through the 11th, but those are hard deadlines.
alright was just making sure it wasn’t just like a one day thing
Oh I misread your post bay,you said season record prediction is now,I don’t know what the Hell I was thinking,I guess the weekly score prediction was on my mind, when does it start, the Monday before the 1st game?
No, it always starts the day following a game and ends the day before the game, the exception will be for the game after the bye week but I’ll get to that later.
Question answered,thanks!
Score prediction, first game, Sept 5th thru 11th for entries.
If we win 1 game this year,It’s gotta be the 1st one,we can’t lose to them stinking Faders at home again, especially on MNF!

Yeah, 10-6
Wow bay!10-6, is this your pick for the contest???
LOL
!!!
Funny man!!!! For all concerned that was alexanserg’s pick. Good try, LOL.
Is there gonna be a pregame blog?
Pryor got a 7??? … amazing …
I went to U of Wyo for one year, in ’58 … the football players flagrantly cheated all the time … the teachers would just look the other way … but at U of Iowa, ’59 – ’61, this Iranian guy in my class took cheating to a new level … any way to up the GPA was his motto … he took a rather practical outlook on education …
As for waiting 25 years for another SB win – NO WAY … not for me, anyway … you young guys maybe could, but you sure don’t want to … in the early days, we just assumed the Broncos would NEVER go to the Super Bowl … the subject never came up … imagine ’77, then …
As for ’77 – I was at Disneyland with my family during one of the playoff games (having just moved out here from Denver) … I took the monorail to the Disneyland hotel to catch the end of the game … Broncos WIN … when I tried to reboard, they insisted I had to buy another ticket – I’d failed to get stamped … I had to throw a FULL crazy for a half hour until they finally relented, just to get rid of the troublemaker, I guess …
Ah, Bronco memories …
I can’t wait to see our #2s and #3s against theirs (Cardinals).
I hope theirs are as bad as ours or we’ll get blowed out!!!
i hope we get to see 1 or two drives from our ones.. rest of first quarter from quinn 2nd and 3rd quarters from tebow and 4th quarter from weber
I’m gonna say 9-7 on the year, Bay. Possibly 10-6 if we can split with SD, but I doubt it.
What’s up boys & girls?
Somebody talked about the massive contacts now being signed and said that Elway was the first $1,00,000 contract. Definitely not so. Joe Wille signed for that and possibly earlier than that was BIlly Cannon.
45YEARBRONCOFANSTILLONSTRIKE!!!
And glued to the tube tonight!!! Sure wish we could hear Bronco broadcasters comments rather than Cardinals broadcasters.
the way this is going in 10 15 years were gunna be talking about a $1bill contract
So Bay,
From what I’ve read the past few blogs, you’re about 57?…and retired? How’d you manage that, Bro?
T-Bird
I haven’t even seen Weber play any!
McBath and Hunter better show something tonight!
I wanna see a lot more of Sylvester at FB too!
57 is how old i took it bay was too since he said he was 37 years older than i am
i hope sylvester makes our 53 and at worst they both land on PS
How about Sylvester at FB and Larsen filling in for DJ? He did start both ways a couple of years ago. OK, I know that’s not realistic, but still a guy can hope! LOL
Larsen is alright at FB,but I think we need a big bruiser like Sylvester!
i like sylvester at FB and larsen as a backup to both FB and LB and a starter on our special teams .. playing all 3 makes the guy irreplaceable by 1 player
I just want to know how a guy retires at such a young age? Rich or something, I take it, eh Bay? LOL
I’d say Weber and Sylvester are definitely gonna be on the PS!
Hey T-Bird whats up bro?
BFE, you think Weber will clear the waivers? I fear he won’t.
W’sup!!!!!!!!!!
IDK,I’ve not seen Weber play, but a lot of people say he’s pretty good, good enough to make the PS!
Wanna hear something sick? I’m now here in the Phoenix area and can’t afford tickets to tonight’s game; don’t get paid until tomorrow.
All I know is we gotta cut at least 27 players, even more if we pickup anybody off waivers, and we definitely will, imo.I’d say we cut over 30 players, some players we probably don’t wanna cut,but we have no choice!
From what I hear, he’s better than Tebow; far more accurate, and has a laser cannon on his right arm.
Now ain’t that a bitch!lol.
I’m not sure who they’ll cut. Don’t really have a feel for it this year. I suppose that’s because I’m still not sure what Fox will do (in general).
i struggled to find 27 to cut yet alone 30ish.. but im all far cutting any backup on the team if we are replacing them with better
At least I can watch the game live on my 55″ big screen TV and in HD with a nice Klipsch home surround sound system.
we got a 72inch in the front room and im yet to get to see denver play on it
Sweet Randy
101 questions I see, told about myself here a lot over the last few years, but mainly I’m just a lucky guy, not really, worked many 17 hour days in my working life and spent 20 years putting a couple of businesses together, then sold and was able to take a backseat, not rich by any means, but very good at budgeting myself and living within my means which are pretty conservative, like the Orange Crush by example, a nice cruiser now but bought it twenty years ago for $4,000 cash, a 24′ foot 1972 cabin cruiser, spent like at least 700 hours over the years completely rebuilding her and she is now better than new, so all hard work and enough skills to lead a good life within reasonable means. Nothing came easy.
HDTV, I presume?
Pregame blog up.
Johnny “lam” jones was the first player to get a million dollar contract from the jets who made him the number 2 overall pick in 1980 with a contract worth 2.1 million.. from what i read he was a world class sprinter who could beat all coverages but couldn’t hold on to the ball
Just messin’ with ya Bay! From what I’ve been able to gather from your posts, you sound too much like the down-to-earth kind of guy like the rest of us who just so happened to budget his time and money wisely. And quite the sharp mind, I might add as well!
No, I’m not trying to butter you up, its just what I’ve observed.
Like you, I’m a realist. Optimistically so. (Just ask my wife)
New blog, I see…hasta pasta from here…LOL
Well, thanks, some think I’m ignorant, LOL.
9-7, realist??? LOL, just messing with you…
I can see it happening. I think the defense is going to be better, tougher and more tenacious than people think, and the offense actually looks like they’ll be a little better in the running game. That ought to account for a few more wins. Then again, there’s always the possibility for injury along with the season being longer than some players can endure. Hard to say, so I pretty much just took a stab at it (what’ve I got to lose? hahaha LMAO).
