Here is my dillenma (sp) As usual I bet almosr-t all my money on the Broncos -2 1/2 $550. Now it turns out I have the only perfect ticket in one of those contests with Oak winning. It’s a $30,000 ticket but I only get $1,500 and a seperate $6,000 to pay income tax on it . If the Broncos win by either 1 or two I get nothing,. Oak wins I have$7,500 in cash (but I have to face the IRS next April, I kind of just want the Broncos to win by 3 or more I get about oh no I just looked it up somehow my ticketis $850 to win $772.75. for a ticket of $1622.75 as long as Broncos win by 3 or more Go Broncos!!!

just read that article on the DP you posted that on OC. I agree 100%.

It may just be another writer looking to stir the pot, but the fact of them recruiting QB’s is still there. So, here is how I see this so called three year plan.

You play the Tebow dog and pony show, never selling out and giving him a true chance to mold into a QB1. Tell him, “sorry kid, it’s not you, it’s us.” The whole while playing a QB that looks at the NFL as a day job (#8). Hoping you don’t need to bring in the guy who folds under pressure like a Murphy bed(#9). Build the run game to a respectable level, have an awesome defense that scares the beegeebus out of the opposing offense.

Oh, that three year plan worked so well for Jacksonville.

“we must win from the pocket” is just not realistic or true.

Considering our glory years were built on roll outs and boot legs. I find it ironic, it is now the conventional wisdom, this whole pocket passing only.

Does everyone remember Elway “playing from the pocket” when he was doing the HELICOPTER to win his first SuperBowl……?

Elway rushed 59 times for 243 yards in 1997 and those totals include his 5 rushing attempts for 17 yards and 1 TD and 1 HELICOPTER in his first SuperBowl victory……

“we must win from the pocket” is just not realistic or true.

I believe that Tebow can win more games (in and out of the pocket) than the other two QB’s on the team…..jomho
