Cheerleaders: Join DBC at ‘Bring It On’

January 16th, 2012 - 11:04am by cheerleaders

Hey Broncos Fans! Wow, what an incredible season! The electric wave of enthusiasm and Broncos spirit across this city has been simply magical. It has been amazing to see the support and pride that the fans have had over the entire season, and what a great season it was!

The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders continued the postseason celebration last week by attending opening night of Bring It On: The Musical. It was such a fun outing for our team and what an amazing show we all got to see. The dancing, singing, stunting and acting was so impressive and enjoyable to watch. I was in such awe of the talent throughout the entirety of the show – from the incredible voices radiating throughout the theatre to the remarkable choreography filling the stage. It was evident that a lot of hard work and dedication went into making this production so fantastic and successful.

I must say that one of my favorite parts of the show was when one of the cheerleaders named Campbell, played by Taylor Louderman, danced in a leprechaun mascot outfit! It was such a great part of the show and my hat is off to her for making dancing in a leprechaun costume look so good!!

We are all so grateful to the DCPA for inviting us to the show and I highly recommend you check it out Broncos Fans! With such an exceptional cast and hilarious script, you won’t want to miss it! It will be playing at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts at The Buell Theatre through January 21st.

Come join us tonight Monday, January 16th for the show and reception with the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders prior to the show. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided and a meet and greet with the cast of Bring It On: The Musical will follow the performance. Discounted prices for this special screening can be bought by following this link.

Hope to see you there!

Go Broncos!!!

I wonder if that press conference will be streamed live on the website. There is no mention of it on there yet.

Once again I want to give a big THANK YOU to our beautiful cheerleaders. They have represented the Broncos well this season. Keep up the good work ladies!

    Repost sorry…. Darn new blogs!

This season after the blowout by the Lions I took a definitive stand to support TT till the end of the season and then reevaluate. Now that we are there I will continue my support for him going into next season. Our offense is young and needing slight adjustments on play calling and talent. I think we all agree on what needs addressing in the draft and FA. It was an amazing season, We have some young classy players that with some adjusting will give the AFC west fits in years to come. By chance if Dawk retires can we keep him on the staff roster somehow?! Baily…. No way are you done… Still a beast!!!

Go Broncos!!! looking forward to this offseason and next year!!

    Early draft look: Broncos
    January, 16, 2012

    By Bill Williamson

Now that the Denver Broncos have been eliminated from the playoffs, it’s time to look ahead. Let’s take an early look at the Broncos’ draft needs:

    Expected drafting spot: 25

Top draft needs: Cornerback, running back, safety, defensive line, quarterback.

Possible first-round picks: Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska; Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State; Devon Still, DT, Penn State; Lamar Miller, RB, Miami.

Intangibles: Doesn’t everything start with Tim Tebow in Denver? The draft might not be any different. The Broncos are expected to roll with Tebow as their starter in 2012, but they could always throw a curveball and take a quarterback early. The more likely scenario is Denver will build its offense around Tebow. That means it could add another running back early. A Tebow-led offense must start with the ground game. A running back could be the team’s first choice even though Denver has some needs on defense.

  7. seweatherman1 says:

    Thanks Applejack!

  8. HardHitting27 says:

The Raiders can have McCoy. I’ve not liked his pedestrian play calling al season long. 1 game, 1 play does not an Offensive Coordinator make…

They can have McCoy, we’ll take Jackson and Mike Bush. Fair trade?

  9. RH709 says:

Maybe it’s just me but I keep reading articles saying TT stuck it up in that game. From what I saw, an elite QB would of had a hell of a time. The Oline wasn’t even slowing the pass rush, much less stopping it.
I thought TT had a decent game considering. Just my opinion I guess. I also think all the articles stating that Tebow wont be the starter next year are ridiculous. This team over achieved due in large part to TT leadership. He will work his @$$ off this offseason. Let’s focus on our defense.
If Alex Smith gets 7 seasons to mature, why can’t Tebow have 2?

  10. brian_schneider says:

If McCoy leaves will that have a significance in Tebow’s future here in Denver? A lot of what we were able to accomplish was because of McCoy and Fox both working to Tebow’s strengths.

Or maybe it is just a matter of Tebow becoming a better pocket passer regardless of who is the offensive coordinator and the rest may fall into place?

  11. OrangeTsunami says:

RH709 – the media is shameless, and only wants more “clicks” online to drive up advertising revenues.. Everyone reading this blog, stop clicking on Tebow “stories” and maybe (very unlikely) they will go away…

  12. RH709 says:

OT, very much agreed. The media don’t care about the correct story, they just want any story. The fabricate lies.

  13. seweatherman1 says:

    RH709,

An answer to your question is this. Tebow has been held to a much higher standard since he was drafted. I truly believe that people expected him to come into the NFL and perform like a 3 or 5 year “elite” qb. If they didn’t then I really don’t believe that there would have been all the hoopla over him that has occured.

If Tebow is given what other qb’s were given that were drafted, then he would have a couple more years or even more in some of the cases of qb’s past. 99.9 % of the qb’s that are in the HOF stunk up the joint in their first couple of years.

  14. Applejack says:

Very good press conference so far.

Stupid question award: will you (Elway) actually be on the field with them (QBs)?

Elway: no, I’ll just yell at them from my office balcony.

  15. Applejack says:

No doubt in my mind that Fox likes Tim Tebow a lot.

Elway is at heart a bean counter. He was an accounting major and has stated that’s how he thinks. He doesn’t trust intangibles and wants very much for Tim to be the franchise guy but will not in any way commit until the numbers show the proof.

He said Tim showed he can do it, but now he has to show consistency. That’s what separates the great QBs from the rest.

  16. seweatherman1 says:

I heard that. Just about the DUMBEST question I have ever heard. I don’t know why they continually ask the same question several times, just different ways. Are they trying to trip EFX up on their answers or what?

  17. Applejack says:

Elway: many different ways to skin a cat. At the same age, I had a long way to go too. I want to help Tim improve. I relied too much on mobility and moving around. I wish I had learned that earlier. (underlying statement is of course that Tebow must learn to pass from the pocket as the first aspect to his game and the running ability must be the cherry on top)

  18. RH709 says:

From what I have seen, Tebow won’t accept failure from himself. He may never have Aaron Rodgers or Drew Bree’s accuracy but he can be at least as good as Eli Manning or Big Ben. Both SB winners that took a bit to become good. I say that’s more than good enough.

  19. oldsouthstander says:

    Since1972:
Got your BBBP of TT not being starter next season. Start of regular season or at some point in time during the season? I assume at start of season. Correct?

  20. papacy808 says:

If Alex Smith gets 7 seasons to mature, why can’t Tebow have 2? Good one RH… If they think this year was all about Tebow in the media wait till next year… “I’m so excited… I just can’t hide it… I’m about to lose control and I think I like it… Saints, Packers and Steelers loosing in the playoffs… Priceless… Go Broncos…

  21. papacy808 says:

Tebows success next year is on your shoulders… EFX… Lets Go Broncos.

  22. oldsouthstander says:

    BroncoRoyalty:
I don’t know what you have in mind, but I’m thrilled that you’d be willing to have some soirt of special recognition to the prediction contest winner. After finishing witth about 7 points last year I was absolutely floored by taking 1st place in 3 of the first 4 or 5 games. Maybe, just list TT I had an incredible hot streak followed by crashing back to reality. The one thing all of we fellow blogging predictors have learned the hard way, a little luck will win over exceptional knowledge every game you predict.

  23. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Papacy, we are so embarassed and saddened to lose in the playoffs … we were pretty outmatched in the playoffs in all phases of the game. Tenacity helped us all year. Imagine how the super packs, saints and steelers feel. I mean falcons could only muster 2 points and packs were beat by almost 20 points. Go big or go home.

    Holes need filling
Much of that work will occur at positions other than quarterback. The Broncos will use the offseason to bring in reinforcements at defensive back, running back and defensive tackle — probably in that order.
Age has made the secondary priority No. 1. It would be surprising if veteran safety Brian Dawkins didn’t call it a long, proud career.
He was again playing at a Pro Bowl level this season when a neck injury left him with numbness that took too long to subside. In the final six games, Dawkins, 38, played sparingly in two. He missed the final three, including the two playoff games.
While the Broncos will be counting on Moore and fellow rookie Quinton Carter to step up as second-year safeties in 2012, a greater concern is at cornerback, where both Bailey and André Goodman will turn 34 before next season.
Bailey will return, but it’s possible the Broncos may start a first-round rookie on the other side.
At running back, Fox no longer wants Willis McGahee to have 20 to 28 carries, as he did in six games this season. Fox wants another McGahee, although maybe a little younger and with a dash more speed.
At defensive tackle, the Broncos’ two starters, Brodrick Bunkley and Marcus Thomas, are free agents. So is kicker Matt Prater and receiver Eddie Royal. The Broncos will try to bring back all four.
Even if Royal returns, though, the Broncos were caught thin at receiver after their midseason trade of Brandon Lloyd.
Up front, the Broncos will likely add depth in the middle. The tight end position will need rookies Virgil Green and Julius Thomas to dramatically improve. Daniel Fells and Dante Rosario are free agents.
At linebacker, the Broncos will be counting on rookie Nate Irving to compete with Joe Mays at the middle inside position.
The success or failure of any NFL team, though, begins and ends with the quarterback position. It’s not enough that Tebow becomes the Broncos’ quarterback in 2012.
There has to be certainty about him.
“I feel like I’ve improved a lot in a lot of different forms of my game,” Tebow said. “And I need to continue to improve and continue to get a lot better, and I believe I can. And I am looking forward to putting in the work.”

With that statement about McGahee and another RB with my speed. There might be weight to the Lamar Miller pick that Walterfootball is puting up. Fast, agile, great hands, nice size and durable. Would hate to spend our 1st pick on a RB … but we could definitely use one that doesn’t get injured like Moreno (saddens me to say that). Still believe in Super Mario Fannin.

  24. newfoundlander4 says:

    congrats oldsouth! Great job man……….

  25. brian_schneider says:

I sure hope Tebow takes the advice from Elway. Elway and Young both have said it before, they were both mobile to begin with but then learned they have to play well from the pocket to be successful. It like golf, you can have a great short game, but if you can’t drive the ball down the fairway it really doesn’t matter how well your sort game is.

  26. since1972 says:

Correct oldsouth,I think whoever comes in at qb earns the job during training camp and preseason.

  27. jwscout says:

Where did the press conference link go? I wanted to watch it…

  28. papacy808 says:

TRB… I’ve learned many years ago to watch our Broncos at home so I would not get embarrassed or sadden in public. I was so ugly after the lost my wife sent me to my room…lol The lost by the packers Sunday and Elway committing to the success of Tebow made me feel much better. I would do anything to see Elway with Tebow throwing from the pocket. BTW good observation on next years needs… Go Broncos

  29. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Gregg Williams will leave saints to be DC for Fisher in St. Louis … bet they wish they still had Dennis Allen to promote to DC.

Also if OC Chadzunski of the Panthers gets a HC job … I can see Hue Jackson OC for the panthers. He said some flattering things about Tebow but gushed about Cam. So I think if Panthers OC gets job .. hue might be a panther. Just a bold prediciton.

    TRB

  30. 1nOnlyTRB says:

    Papacy,

The holes that need filling, was not my idea … took it from a DP article. Shoulda put in quotations.

    TRB

  31. OrangeTsunami says:

I mean, why not talk to Hugh Jackson? Why not get a dialogue going with the Raiders ex HC? I’m sure he wouldn’t hold back on off the record questions.. Get him on the horn! Lol

  32. OrangeTsunami says:

Dennis Allen’s best option is to stay put, and be groomed by John Fox to become the Bronco Head Coach in due time… Say what you will about Fox, but he is the perfect guy to groom a young Allen.. Of course, Allen could take another job, but it’s risky when you’e not really ready for all of that (McD’s)..

Allen will be offered a HC gig every year if we don’t just lock him up now!

  33. 1nOnlyTRB says:

OT, not a good move while your OC is still around lol.

Anyone think theres a chance Bears will be stupid enough to let Matt Forte slide? lol

Also Desean Jackson … any body really think we can go for him? (after we resign our own Desean Jackson (Eddie Royal) of course amongst with other FAs like Prater. But Jackson, Bay Bay, Royal, Decker, … sounds like a winner to me. Speed always helps and we know Tebow can throw a Deep ball to jackson and is used to catching from a left handed mobile QB. This offseason should be fun.

    TRB

  34. 1nOnlyTRB says:

We lost Kubiak … would suck to lose Dennis but thats the nature of this league. TRB

  35. since1972 says:

Just to clarify so the Tebowites don’t start hating on me like they do carnage. This is all in fun and about BOLD predictions and that was the boldest one I could think of, it could put me at the top of prediction mountain or on the prediction wos. Interesting comment by schlereth on ESPN regarding Elway saying Tebow would be starter going into next season ( who else could he name as starter as Tebow is only qb under contract and there is a lot of wiggle room surrounding that statement)

  36. OrangeTsunami says:

TRB – our OC is interviewing for multiple HC positions, and we should wait to look for a replacement? My point was, it is a perfect opportunity to talk to an ex Raider coach who was just fired.. I’m sure he’s got a lot of good stuff to say.. Lol

  37. OrangeTsunami says:

To me, Jason Campbell wouldn’t be a terrible one year contract.. Fills two needs, a QB and never hurts to learn anything Raiders

  38. baylinorcrush says:

For those wondering like shaztah, I’m waiting for a blog from either Coop or Rice to post my final season impressions.

  39. OrangeTsunami says:

I also see us bring Quinn back, it’ll be interesting to say the least.. I’m just excited to keep seeing the defense the major area of draft attention!

I’m sure it’ll change, but right now I would be happy with the following three picks, the best available overall when we pick on draft day between:

    Jerel Worthy; DT; Michigan State
    Dont’a Hightower; ILB; Alabama
    Janoris Jenkins; CB; North Alabama

  40. strandoftds says:

OT, Janoris Jenkins CB is a great talent but been arrested many times. No thank you.

  41. strandoftds says:

    My picks in the first round as of today;
    1. Mark Barron S
    2. Lamar Miller RB
    3. Devin Still DT

  42. strandoftds says:

    In the 2nd round;
    1. Dontari Poe DT
    2. Coby Fleener TE
    3. Cris Polk RB

  43. OrangeTsunami says:

Strand – he’s a little small too.. Agreed, take him off.. I only put him in b/c we could go CB, maybe Dennard will be available, but he’s only 5-10 too, which I don’t really like.. After Claiborne and Kirkpatrick, the CB talent drops off.. Same with DT.. Which is why i like Hightower so much, he’s #2 overall at his position

  44. strandoftds says:

There`s no way we move up to get Claiborne or Kirkpatrick, so you got to go with who lands in your lap as far as CB. I don`t like losing future draft picks.

  45. strandoftds says:

There`s the DT from Memphis; Dontari Poe 6’5″ 350 lbs for the DT up the middle. He`s a monster.

  46. OrangeTsunami says:

Something about a LB group of Williams, Hightower, & Miller sounds awful nice!

  47. strandoftds says:

i`ve heard nothing but great things about Hightower. It wouldn`t faze me if we drafted him.

  48. OrangeTsunami says:

I agree we have to get a DT in this draft, no exceptions! We have to draft at least one DT – we’re way overdue at that position!

  49. baylinorcrush says:

Note to the 2011 season newbies:

It’s like deja vu all over again, last year for three months before the draft BFE and I led the campaign for the we need a big time DT in a major way and did that in a relentless way and what good did that all do???

Fox snubbed the position all the way til the Summer when he made a couple of late moves was all. I’m not going to hold my breath over all that now, I’d be sure to pass out…..

  50. strandoftds says:

I`ll be campaigning for Dontari Poe for drafting a DT.
