Hey Denver Fans! How ‘bout that Broncos win on Sunday? I don’t know about all of you, but my Monday always seems a little better after a great win! Congratulations to John Fox on his FIRST Broncos win! Let’s keep ‘em coming!
My name is Heather and this is my 2nd season as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. As a rookie cheerleader last year, I experienced many firsts including: performing for the first time on an NFL field, shooting a cheerleader calendar, performing for 76,000 fans, hosting a Broncos post-game show, radio interviews, traveling to Iraq to perform for our service men and woman, and the list goes on and on!
Coming back as a “veteran” this season, I was not expecting to have many more firsts. Boy was I wrong! The 2011-2012 season is just beginning and so far I have been apart of several history making firsts!
• Being the FIRST to perform in the newly named Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Like many die hard Broncos fans, I too had a hard time adjusting to the sound of the new stadium name as well as the new logo. However, two games into the season and it seems to me as though it has always been Sports Authority Field at Mile High and who can even notice the red logo when the stadium is packed with 76,000 fans oozing blue and orange!
• For me, it was also my FIRST Monday Night Football game! Not only was it MNF, Broncos vs. the Raiders, but it was opening night! What a perfect opening night scenario. Along with the game, it was also the 10th year anniversary tribute for 9/11 and one of the most moving tributes I have ever been apart of. I can easily say that this game has been my most memorable game of all time!
• Shannon Sharpe’s Hall of Fame presentation. What a once in a lifetime experience to be a part of. As a true Broncos fan and a Denver native, I have grown up watching Shannon Sharpe. He is a legend in Broncos Country and it was so truly inspirational to see him presented with his ring. He certainly deserves this induction and it will be a moment that I will never forget.
I guess what I have learned is that every game is going to bring its own new experience. I feel so grateful to be involved with the Broncos organization, team, and cheerleaders that have given me so many incredible opportunities. We truly have the greatest job in the world!
I look forward to many more firsts with the Broncos, perhaps my first Super Bowl appearance??
For now, I look forward to game 3 and many more W’s to come! LET’S GO BRONCOS!!
Have a great week everyone!!

Black Butte Porter, but my fav in the frigde now is the 512 IPA, nektar of the Gods.
Now, that’s the best way I’ve ever started a page, LOL.
lol
That’s an excellent assortment of beers right there.
Yeah, I don’t know football but I know beers!
Baylin…. we finally hit some cooler weather up here in Dallas. Lovin it.
If you like Black Butte, I suggest you try Moose Drool.
On the football thing. I am still waiting to see if Champ gets healthy in time. Last year I think he rushed back from injury and re-injured himself. It would be nice to get over this injury hump and see what are whole team can do as a unit. I love to see Tebow out there in other positions just to get comfortable in the game and make the most out of every roster spot. I thought Eron is still on the practice squad; I wonder why. If he is not good enough to come in now after a lot of preseason work , I would say free up a spot to get a DT or CB in here.
Rosario resigned
Mike Mohammed waived (likely to the practice squad)
We needed a KR/PR to be called up. So it basically came down to Goodwin or a free agent. Cosby’s skill set in the return game was apparently more appealing. Riley is a good prospect but we needed a returner more than an actual receiver this week.
I do NOT like Moose Drool.
Way too light to my liking.
Never thought anything of Mohamed by the way.
They must really be concerned about Julius’ high ankle sprain, first that Narbonne TE now Rosario.
Sorry, Nalbone.
Thanks for the information bay on “contracts dictated which QB started”. Very interesting read as you and OC eleborated.
oops….”elaborated”.
Welcome, it was nothing I enjoyed but I felt I had to do, get the research done to be more understanding of the situation.
And since I came up with the term QQ it means as much to me as any, LOL.
You pretty much summed it up as this has been a topic of conversations at pre- games at bronco barn with other fans. But as mentioned all along, EFX inherited this QQ situation. Caught in a financial fiasco.
So McD’s left us to squander another season afer he’s long gone!!
That’s right you pegged the term (QQ) long before anyone else..
Quite a few fans are “distraught” to say the least over this whole situation.
That’s putting mildly…..LOL!
Royal, you know they always have said that you can not fight city hall, but, you sure can voice your opinion. No body can take that away from you. And voice we can do.
new blog, from Willis, but I have taken a liking to the photo on the top of this page. Beer, beautiful women, ahhhh such a nice distraction.
McD was like a cancer and it is now still spreading….
Bye Heather.
Hi Heather!
Looking great out there!
That’s awesome…….there’s a first for everything.
Hope you continue to have fun!
