A Busy Weekend

September 15th, 2010 - 11:21am by cheerleaders

Hey Broncos Fans!

I hope you all have recovered from the action-packed football weekend and enjoyed this year’s NFL Kickoff to the 2010 season! Even though the Broncos suffered a loss in Jacksonville, where their hometown hero Tebow made his debut in orange and blue, we still hold our heads up high and look forward to a great season!

My name is Jenna and this is my first year as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader! I recently made my way out to Denver from Chicago for the sole purpose of auditioning for the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. I am very proud to say that I am apart of this outstanding organization and I thank all of you Broncos fans for the endless support and enthusiasm.

As a rookie to Broncos Country, I am enjoying all the new experiences that come along with it. This past weekend I participated in several events all pertaining to kids! I had the opportunity to interact and cheer on the students of High Pointe Academy in Aurora, CO. They are competing in the NFL Play 60 for one of the $10,000 health and wellness grants being given, in hopes of building a playground to promote healthy and active lifestyles among their students.

I also participated in my first Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleader Clinic and had the pleasure of performing, teaching and dancing with all the Junior Cheerleaders. We had a great time preparing for their next game day performance on September 26th when we take on the Colts. I look forward to a victory as we cheer on our Denver Broncos!

The weekend ended with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Charity walk on Sunday morning where I volunteered my time to support and encourage the fight for a cure!

Go Broncos!
