Hey Broncos Country!

I’m Jenna, this is my second year as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader and I couldn’t be more proud to cheer for the best organization in the NFL! I have had some of the most amazing experiences being a part of this team and I wanted to share a few with all of you. Nothing beats dancing at a home game with the best 76,000 true, hardcore fans cheering on our Broncos. Well, almost nothing — the most rewarding part of my job is spending quality time and giving back to the Broncos community.

Howdy Broncos Country!

With the 2011 NFL season in full swing, the colors orange and blue are pumping through the hearts of Broncos fans everywhere. Broncos Country represents a powerful force of undying loyalty that extends beyond the state of Colorado clear to the other side of the world! I can speak for all 26 Cheerleaders in saying that we are constantly energized by you, the best fans in football, sporting our team colors through thick and thin. That is why beginning this Sunday I am asking you to add another color to your palate – PINK — and join us in kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

While our boys go head-to-head with defending Super Bowl Champs, the Green Bay Packers, at Lambeau Field in Wisconsin, 15 of your Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and 125 Junior Broncos Cheerleaders will show our support in PINK at the 19th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Sunday morning, October 2nd, in Denver. If you’ll be at the race, look for us running in our special pink Broncos Cheerleader jerseys! Registration is still available to run the 5k at 7 a.m., walk the 5k at 8 a.m., or sign up for the 1-mile family walk/run at 9 a.m., where you’ll finish the race with support from 125 Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders!

Hey Denver Fans! How ‘bout that Broncos win on Sunday? I don’t know about all of you, but my Monday always seems a little better after a great win! Congratulations to John Fox on his FIRST Broncos win! Let’s keep ‘em coming!

My name is Heather and this is my 2nd season as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. As a rookie cheerleader last year, I experienced many firsts including: performing for the first time on an NFL field, shooting a cheerleader calendar, performing for 76,000 fans, hosting a Broncos post-game show, radio interviews, traveling to Iraq to perform for our service men and woman, and the list goes on and on!

Cheerleaders: A Great Surprise

September 15th, 2011 - 2:37pm by cheerleadersOther posts by

Howdy fans in Broncos country! My name is Lauren H. and this is my first year as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. So far it has been an amazing start to the season with exciting games, challenging practices and fun events and charities going on throughout the Denver area. I have soaked up every second of these experiences along the way and cannot even begin to explain how thrilled I am to see what is in store over the next few months. If it is anything close to last Monday night’s game against the Raiders, then I could not be more exhilarated!

I wanted to share with you all about an amazing opportunity I was given as a DBC. Last week, I was invited to visit the Children’s Hospital and see a young man named Alex who is currently a patient at the hospital. It was Alex’s 19th birthday and being a big Denver Broncos fan, we thought it would be a great idea to surprise him with some great Broncos gear and some birthday cake! After giving him his presents, he had promised us that he would wear his new Broncos hat and Broncos t-shirt for the big game against the Raiders! Alex loved what we had brought him and we were honored to be there on his very special day.

Hey Broncos Country, Lauren G. here. This is my third year as a cheerleader, and after majoring in Advertising from the University of Colorado at Boulder, I wanted to let you all know about the great ways you can become more involved in some of what we do. Social media is a fast and easy way to become more involved in your favorite team, the Denver Broncos!

Firstly, let’s talk about Facebook. Did you know the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders have a Facebook page? All of the cheerleader’s events are posted, along with pictures of your favorite girls. Also check out the “Cheerleader of the Week.” On our Facebook you have the ability to ask the Cheerleader of the Week your own questions that she will answer in her video interview. You can also interact with some of the cheerleaders and other fans!

Follow Denver Broncos on Twitter. The Denver Broncos update all their fans through twitter. With over 60,000 followers, the word spreads quickly. You can find out about the players, cheerleaders, and marketing events through a simple 140 character limit. Check it out and become a follower.

Use your smart phone for mobile alerts. If you sign up, you’ll receive instant broncos alerts from Verizon Wireless. These alerts will also link you to the website, DenverBroncos.com where you will always find the most up-to-date information about your favorite team, players, and cheerleaders.

So check it out! Sign up, log in, and get involved in some great new features the Denver Broncos have to offer. Don’t forget to look for the next Cheerleader of the Week and make sure to ask her some tough questions!! Go Broncos!!

Cheerleaders: Recapping Exciting Appearances

September 9th, 2011 - 5:36pm by cheerleadersOther posts by

Hi Broncos fans! Hope everyone is getting back from a wonderful and safe Labor Day weekend with friends, family, and fellow Broncos fans! I enjoyed my Broncos filled weekend with cheerleader appearances at both the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo and Taste of Colorado here in Denver.

My name is Margaret Foy and I am enjoying my second year as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. The new opportunities this season has offered me so far have taken me across the state of Colorado to meet Broncos fans. I had the honor of representing our Denver Broncos as one of the cheerleaders on our Broncos Caravan Tour in June. Pueblo was one of our stops on the tour, I thought I had an idea of what to expect from our fans there but after the weekend at the State Fair – Man did I underestimate! The response we received in Pueblo while debuting our 2011 calendar was overwhelming! Everyone was so excited and supportive and it was a great reminder that some of our biggest fans are in Pueblo! We rode in the parade with our Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and saw lots of orange and blue lining the streets of Pueblo.

Hey Broncos fans! My name is Kara and as a rookie this year I cannot even put into words what it was like to take the field for the very first time, but I am going to try to give you a little taste. From the minute I approached the stadium there was a whole new energy that filled the air and you could just feel that it was game day in Broncos Country. Knowing that this was going to be a day of many firsts for me as a DBC, I couldn’t help but smile all day. I felt like a small child in a candy store, wide-eyed and full of energy!
