Cheerleaders: Join DBC at ‘Bring It On’

Hey Broncos Fans! Wow, what an incredible season! The electric wave of enthusiasm and Broncos spirit across this city has been simply magical. It has been amazing to see the support and pride that the fans have had over the entire season, and what a great season it was!

The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders continued the postseason celebration last week by attending opening night of Bring It On: The Musical. It was such a fun outing for our team and what an amazing show we all got to see. The dancing, singing, stunting and acting was so impressive and enjoyable to watch. I was in such awe of the talent throughout the entirety of the show – from the incredible voices radiating throughout the theatre to the remarkable choreography filling the stage. It was evident that a lot of hard work and dedication went into making this production so fantastic and successful.

Cheerleaders: Scenes From a Wild Card Win

Hi Broncos Fans! Who would have thought the Broncos, who were 1-4 at the beginning of this season, would be in the playoffs and on their way to play the Patriots this weekend in Foxborough?! This being my rookie year, I am so extremely lucky and happy to have been at the Broncos first playoff game in six years and witness them achieve such an amazing victory against the Steelers. This game was one for the history books.

Every Broncos fanatic I have spoken to after the game on Jan. 8 has told me it was the most amazing game the Broncos have ever played. It was such as amazing game because not only did the Broncos win, but the support the team had at the game from Broncos fans was unbelievable. The roar of the stadium at the start of overtime as Demaryius Thomas caught Tim Tebow’s 80-yard pass to win the game brought chills to my body. As I looked up into the stadium, I have never seen such a sight. Broncos Fans were on their feet dancing in celebration. No one was in a rush to leave the stadium after that play, and the players were rushing to the field to share the moment with their teammates after such an amazing victory. But it didn’t stop there. After the players huddled in the middle of the field, they rushed to their fans and went around the field to celebrate with all the fans who stuck around till the end.

Cheerleaders: Sharing the Holiday Spirit

December 9th, 2011 - 10:37am by cheerleadersOther posts by

Hi Broncos Fans! I’m Lauren G., and I thought you might be interested in learning about ways that we get ready for the holiday season!

Like many businesses, we have an annual holiday party. On Tuesday, Dec. 6, all 26 cheerleaders and our coaches brought gifts to celebrate, white elephant* style!

*If you are not aware, a white elephant gift exchange is when each person brings a wrapped gift. Each person picks a number out of a hat, and when it is your turn, you have the option to either unwrap one of the mystery gifts, or steal someone else’s gift!

Now our exchange gets vicious, in a fun way of course! Girls openly steal from one another, even from their best friends! However, one important rule is to never steal from the coaches! Overall, it was a fun night full of laughs, food, and good company.

Cheerleaders: Holiday Cheer

Happy Holidays Broncos Country!

I think these past Broncos wins are really making this holiday season more memorable than ever! Alongside those wins, the Broncos Cheerleaders have some seasonal events we partake in to make the holidays a special time for everyone! As a Broncos Cheerleader, we understand that we have so many opportunities to reach out and touch the hearts of our fans. No matter what season it is, the cheerleaders are out in the community helping raise awareness for all the special charities and events around Colorado.

During the holidays, however, we have even more reasons to give back and be thankful for every person we meet. I’d like to talk about my 3 favorite events coming up this month!

Hello Broncos Fans! I hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving. The holiday weekend was surely wrapped up with another thrilling Broncos victory!

It’s been a few months since my rookie report and I can’t begin to tell you all how fun and exciting this season has been so far. Not only has it been filled with incredible games, but I have also been fortunate to be a part of many events throughout the community. This past weekend in particular, I was able to help out at a local restaurant in the Highlands area with some of my fellow teammates.

Hey Broncos Country!

It’s my favorite time of the year – a time to sit back and realize how lucky we all are to live in one of the best cities with the best fans!

Today I want to take the time to look back upon some of the experiences I have thus far as a rookie DBC. I am so grateful to be a part of this wonderful organization and to be fortunate to interact with amazing people in this community. To recount a few:

Cheerleaders: Special Halftime Show

November 16th, 2011 - 9:14am by cheerleadersOther posts by

Hey Broncos Country!

So for my blog this week, I thought I’d let you in on a little inside scoop of the gamenight entertainment you won’t want to miss when our Broncos take on the New York Jets on Thursday. Be ready, because we are going to turn a normal football halftime show into a hat-tipping and boot slapping concert featuring none other than country pop singer, Jessie James. If you haven’t heard of her, you’ll definitely want to check her out. She’s one of our favorite artists to dance to and we have used three of her hit songs for our gameday routines.

Jessie James is the debut self-titled album by singer and songwriter, Jessie James. The album was released on Aug. 11, 2009, and debuted on the Billboard Top 200 Charts at No. 23 in its first week, selling about 18,575 copies. The song, “Wanted”, which is the song she will be performing at the halftime show, was the album’s leading single and peaked at No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Jessie’s song, “Blue Jeans” was also featured on the soundtrack of the film, Confessions of a Shopaholic. For me, this is one of my dreams becoming a reality.

Cheerleaders: The Monster Mash

Hey Broncos Country, Sam here. I can’t believe that it’s already November! I’m sure many of you have already ripped through your bags of Halloween candy and eaten up all the good stuff. Soon after the tummy aches and sugar highs subside, it seems that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. But before moving on to turkey and stuffing, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie (have I made your mouth water yet?), I want to back up a step and let you all in on some great haunted tales of the creepiest, craziest, and funniest Halloween—JDBC style.

As a reminder, JDBC stands for Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. This year marks my first year as a JDBC instructor. JDBC is a dance and cheerleading program for girls ages 6-14. About once or twice a month, the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders get together with the JDBC girls for a clinic where we all learn dance routines, practice good teamwork and have a lot of fun!!

Cheerleaders: Live Life & Love Life

Hi Broncos Country! My name is Katie W. and this is my first year as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. As a rookie, I am still taking it all in and am thankful every day for the opportunity to be part of this team. In only half a season, this team has given me unforgettable memories, the most rewarding being those that touch others lives. Through the Broncos organization, I have experienced this first hand either at a home game, community event, or one of our own fundraisers like Keeping Kids on Track.
