firstfan....It was Tatum not Mike who could not hold onto the ball and that is why we ditched him. Mike Bell is a Bronco who does not have the natural talents as some of the other backs but he does run every down at 100%. I am very thankful to have a guy like that on our team. Go Broncos!

I agree with George. Let's make sure Javon is not going to end his career by rushing back, even though we need him now. As for Mike Bell, my guess is he never really recovered froim the case of fumbleitis he had last year and has been in Shanahan's doghouse since. Shanahan will not tolerate fumblers. Andrew, I suppose you have some sway with the Bronco staff. Can you remind Christopher Smith that we are 5-5 and not 4-6 as he says in todays article on DenverBroncos.com??

I think we should release Travis Henry... he seems chronically injured, and putting Selvin Young in for him tends to be a step up instead of a necesary weakening after taking out #1... pretty sure he just starts because he costs too many $$s not to.

1. Selvin Young
2. Andre Hall
3. Mike Bell

Honestly, not a bad set of runners, and together they have about half as many years of their careers so far as Travis by himself, so they're all still going to get better and not retiring too soon.

As for J-Walk, putting him back with Marshall and Stokley, if those 3 stick together here with Cutler I think this offense might end up resembling that of the Colts right now, but with more physical receivers who fight instead of avoiding hits, and a stronger run game... and if we get Rod back, it will just be completely unfair. Monday against the Titans we got a glimpse of how dangerous this offense can be, can getting J-Walk back makes it that much better.

Solution to red-zone woes: score touchdowns from 40+ out.

I hope Andre Hall gets the start. He seems like a guy that is hard to tackle. He is so low to the ground and I think he has a better center of gravity then Selving Young. What about Mike Bell he should get some carries aswell right? This will be an exciting game and its time to let Cutler toss that pigskin a little more.

I have to say that I am extremely concerned about the condition of Javon Walker's knee and would not risk him if there is any doubt at all. This could be a career threatening injury if it is not carefully managed.

What surprises me is that the best knee surgeon in the world, Richard Steadman, has his knee clinic in Vail, Colorado and I would have thought that Javon would be his patient and have input from him as to rehab and training.

So Andrew what I am asking in a round-about way is "How bad is Javon's injury?"

I have been impressed with our D latetly the guys look like they are getting back to there old selfs. They been just flying to the ball and tackeling alot better. Having Walker back will be great but if he dosen't play the other guys have been stepping up (Marshall, Stokely)

JW... scary. He's so good but let's not lose him forever either.
There's been so much promise this year, a few returns from injuries would be nice.

By the way I must say..... Good going defense!! You've far to go but it's a hard league and I've seen some really great play lately.

Go Orange & Blue!!

Javon is having swelling again....this means that the surgery he had to clean out debris from his previus surgery has continued to cause more inflammation, that has resulted in a likelyhood of needle aspiration drainage procedure. Nobody is saying that, but since fluid causes swelling, it looks like we could be headed right back where we started again...

We all want Javon Walker and his athleticism/skills/abilities on the field, and to now have Brandon Marshall become #2, after playing 8 wks going against the #1 CB and assuming that primary role, would essentially give us 2 #1's and that's GREAT.

However, if Javon's knee is swelling, this is a sign of future additional surgeries. Most likely a procedure known a "microfracture" surgery on his knee which is debilitating, and sometimes career threatening. At this point, you have to think the Broncos somewhere in the ivory tower of Pat Bowlen were trying to grab Chris Chambers from Miami....? That would have sealed the deal for Jay C, and really given the Broncos not just a Great WR corp, but a phenomenal one at the least. Oh well, Go Javon! Get in there, we need you. But not at a price of "Out for Season"...
