Hopefully this injury bug has bitten us now rather than in the regular season or postseason. I am a little concerned with our depth at reciever, but it seems like everybody is coming along nicely. Hopefully everyone will get a preseason game or two under their belt before the games start to count. Does anybody know what Al Wilson is up to these days? Is he retiring? Is anybody trying to sign him? Is he just taking a year off to fully heal and make a return to the orange and blue??? I am pretty surprised nobody has picked him up yet if he is healthy enough to play. Mason, who is working the majority of snaps with Lynch at safety? How does Nick look? Does it appear he has fully recovered from the knee injury last year?

It seems like training camp has been filled with nothing but injuries. Has this been happening at other camps? I know Moss just got hurt and T.O. has been resting his poor hammy, but nothing like what we've seen at Dove Valley. Maybe Shanny's running them too hard.. I don't know. With our receiving corps on the sidelines and linebackers dropping, I think full contact drills might have come to soon.

My prayers are going out to Warrick Holman. Yeah this brings a flashback to The Seattle game last year with Al Wilson getting hurt. I hope Holdman is alright

[...] New linebacker Warrick Holdman was rushed to the hospital during this morning’s practice. He suffered what appears to be a serious head/neck injury when he went for a play against Mike Bell. He was immobilized and carted off the field. After 30-40 seconds, Holdman said the numbness had subsided and he could move his extremities. Full story - Andrew Mason. [...]

Our positive thoughts are with Holdman that all the measures taken were just a precaution. How scary indeed to see another #56 lying on the ground, or being strapped to the cart.

In a way I am glad I wasn't there!
