I don't think Laurinitas wil make it past the Patriots. Dre Moore would be a great 2nd rd pick but I think there will be some better DT's available in a very deep DT draft. Not familiar with Tyrell Johnson or Jaonathan Zenon and I don't tink Denver needs a QB enough to take use a pick on one. Of course there are quite a few things that could change that will influence Denvers draft-
John Lynch-retire?
Ian Gold-released or traded?
Javon Walker-traded?
Travis Henry-traded?
Combine-who shows up?
Free Agency- DTS-Albert Haynesworth, Corey Williams,
OL_Alen Faneca, Travelle Wharton, Jordan Gross,
S-Ken Hamlin, Deon Grant,
WR-Bernard Berrian, Devery Henderson, Patrick Crayton,
LB-Lance Briggs, Karlos Dansby, Demarrio Williams, Boss Bailey (How cool would it be for the brothers), Jonathan Vilma (trade)

I think Denver has to) pick Kenny Phillups in Rd 1 if he somehow makes it to the 12h pick. He would complete the best secondary in the league. If not they should take the best available DT (Sedrick Elis or Kentwan Balmer)

Rd2 should be used on the best DT avalable or if they take a DT in 1st then they should take a S (Jonathan Hefney or Craig Steltz)

Denver should use at least one pick on a return specialist-WR
Looking forward to a beter offseason than the season!

newerascouting.com predicts Denver as drafting:

Rnd 1 - James Laurinaitis-Ohio State-LB
Rnd 2 - Dre' Moore-Maryland-DT
Rnd 4 - Tyrell Johnson-Ark. State-SS
Rnd 5 - Jonathan Zenon-LSU-CB
Rnd 7 - Matt Flynn-LSU-QB

What you think? Fills some needs at certain positions, but what do you think of the players?

I'm sorry to see Lepsis go, He gave Denver good years. It doesn't seem that there is going to be any news on Hamilton and Nalen isn't getting any younger. I predict that Denver will use a few late draft picks to add some depth and maybe a starter since most teams don't look for the type of O-lineman Denver employs.

Free agents of interest- DT Albert Hayneworth, LB Lance Briggs, LB Jonathan Vilma, S Ken Hamlin. These players woud make an immediate impact.

Trade-WR Javon Walker, LB Ian Gold, RB Travis Henry. Gold has lost his edge and Selvin Young and Hall are Young and better. If Javon changes his tune, it would be nice to have the trio- Marshall/Stokley/Walker with Scheffler & Graham. If not, he might be a great way to pull Hayneseworth out of TN.

QB-Jay Cutler, Patrick Ramsey
RB-Selvin Young, Travis Henry, Andre Hall
TE-Daniel Graham, Tony Scheffler
WR-Brandon Marshall, Brandon Stokley, Taylor Jacobs
WR-Javon Walker?, Donnie Avery (KR-Houston/draft), Glen Martinez
LT-Ryan Harris
LG-Chris Kuper
C- Tom Nalen/Chris Myers
RG-Ben Hamilton (Late RD draft pick)
RT-Erik Pears

RE-John Engelberger (run), Elvis Dumervil (pass)
RT-Albert Haynesworth/ (2nd RD pick-so many good ones in this draft)
LT-Marcus Thomas/ Josh Mallard
LE-Tim Crowder (run), Jarvis Moss (pass)
WLB-D.J.Williams/Ian Gold/ Elvis Dumervil?
MLB-Lance Briggs (FA-Trade)/Nate Webster
SLB-Jamie Winborn/Jonathan Vilma (FA-Trade)/ Jarvis Moss?
CB-Champ Bailey/Karl Paymah
CB-Dre Bly/Dominique Foxworth
SS-Kenny Phillups (1st RD pick)/Nick Ferguson
FS-Ken Hamlin (FA-Trade)/Hamza Abdulla

Draft RD1-S/DT Kenny Phillups/Sedrick Ellis-Kentwan Balmer
         RD2-DT/S Frank Okam-Dre Moore/Craig Steltz
         RD4-WR-KR Donnie Avery
         RD4-DT-Trevor Laws-Roy Miller
         Rest of picks-O-Lineman
Wishful thinking!

You guys shouldn`t be dissing ole` Lepsis. 14 years in the league after coming outa CU as a tight end? Don`t tell me he hasn`t worked his ass off. All these new linemen should take a clue from this guy. Letting Cleveland get Eslinger was a total retard moment. Him and Cutler had chemistry, something this years line absolutely didn`t have. Oh GOD don`t get me started........
