LET ME PLEASE CALL OUT RSM1956 who just made the most ignorant STATEMENT I have ever seen in my life. YOU THINK BEN ROTHLESSWHATEVER was a rookie last year? What planet are you on? If Ben was a rookie, and he had taken his team to the bowl like he did, he may have been the greatest QB ever.....ANYONE, and you proved you're not anyone, WHO WATCHES football knows that Ben was not a rookie last year. OMG, wow, opinions are opinions and you can call me out for mine, BUT YOU SIMPLY CAN'T state a 3rd year QB was a rookie last year, he was in his second year.......YOUNG, BUT NOT A ROOKIE!

LPP what are you talking about? Jay has no fire, no ambition???? Are you crazy? Jake had the same chance to make that pass more than once this year and every single time he fired the ball short and it was either incomplete or intercepted. Jay has all the fire and ambition he needs to lead this team to the playoffs. Jay will pick apart the Cincy D and you know what i am pretty sure we won't hear from you after he does. Jake is handling the switch like a man and with a lot of class. He isn't bagging on Jay or Shanny and is backing the team! If you are such a big fan of him then why don't you show some class and learn from what he is doing? We all appreciate your input cause it gives us something to laugh about at night with our families. So thank you for that but you really should do some research before you leave a comment. Don't count Denver out yet we will adapt and overcome and if by some chance the weather turns bad cincy is going to struggle in Denver. Go Broncos!!!! Jay Rocks and after we beat Denver we'll all see what the nay sayers have to say about Jay!

LPP go away, and stay away. You have shown you can't add, and you don't have any grasp on the play off picture. Now you have shown you can't even remember last years Super Bowl. A rookie won it at QB. Add your site to a weight loss search. Your ignorance is enough to make anybody lose their appetite. Cincy's D is no better than AZ's D. Receiver and RB are close to the same. Palmer is better than Lienart, but not enough to make the difference. Denver's O-line and D-line appreciate the rewards Cutler has produced. O on the field and D off the field more. There are still several scenarios where Denver could lose this week or next and still make the playoffs. A couple teams play tough teams both weeks. I don't think Denver will win both games and stay in control of their own play off birth. I haven't given up on a SB appearance.

TLYNCH and ABLACK1

Great analogy with the beating a dead horse. That's what the Broncos have done to themselves for the next 4-5 years. They have become a team that will be beaten time and again by teams like the Chargers. Then the Chargers will laugh and say, we're beating a DEAD HORSE, kinda like the Guns N' Roses song. You say Elway took them to the bowl in the 4th year....Well Jake took them to the AFC CHAMP in 3 years....he was 7-3 this year, when Shanny decided to bench him. If the KC game would have been on Sunday instead of Thanksgiving, Jay would have started. So as you all know, the decision was made after Denver was 7-3....

There was EVERY CHANCE in the world that they could have gone to the Super Bowl this year. Well, that was obviously not a choice, once Shanny decided to roll the dice with the future. Jay has no fire, no ambition, you say look at him on the sideline? I do and he looks defeated everytime the camera is on him.

No rookie has ever won the superbowl, don't fool yourselves, Jay will not lead them there this year....

To your point: I should go root for another team? I WILL TAKE YOU UP on that offer, as soon as Jake signs somewhere else. The Denver organization showd absolutley NO CLASS to someone that had taken them where no one since Elway had....The DENVER fans showed NO CLASS each time the majority of the 60K at home booed Jake every time they had the chance. There are plenty of ANTI Jake websites out there, run by DENVER citizens and DENVER fans....We just felt, we ought to SUPPORT the guy who got us to where we were. Hypocritical for us to now boo Cutler? Fine, call it what you will, the city of Denver showed their colors, and so now, it will be most appropriate when Jay Cutler fails, and 60K fans are booing him next year when he gets NO FURTHER than this year....

I can't wait for Jake to sign with another team. The city of Denver has one local legend to hold onto, not tons of them like other cities, New York, Los Angeles to name two, so they have to HOLD ON so tightly to their one and only hero, no one else will ever be good enough!

Too bad, too bad for anyone behind center.....I think Carmelo Anthony said it best at half time, when Denver was playing Baltimore....He was asked who he was rooting for and he said, "BALTIMORE!"

CLASSIC. Sure, he's from Baltimore, but if he felt an affinity at all for Denver fans, it would have come across and as he sat there on live television, he didn't care, he said, "BALTIMORE!"

I like Melo.

no matter how excited i am that cutler is starting now and showing us what the future may be like, im gonna miss #16. he's a cool guy, classy and really is a team player. if there is any way for the broncos to keep him i think they should. he could be an excellent teacher and having a veteran around to help him through the rough streches (which are bound to come). he's is not only a role model for cutler and other players but in the community as well, people like jake are to few and far these days.

The thing that impressed me the most about Jay Cutler was that after throwing his one interception, he came right back and threw a completion into double coverge!

That showed incredible confidence for a rookie but more importantly showed he has tha same competetive fire in his belly that made John Elway one of the best! We all know that that one quality has been lacking in our two other quarterbacks.

The Cutler era is here...Thank You Jay!

Trust me we wont get into the playoffs with jay cutler un less he kicks himself into over drive. We got cincy. dont forget we need to win all of our games. so we might not be able to do that with the rookie and a defence that is just getting back on their feet.

Amen TLynch! Well said.

I even liked how confident Jay looked when the defense was on the field. They kept showing him looking at the game from the bench, and you could see how much he wanted to be in there playing. It was great!

Go Bronocs!

Tlynch well said about about LPP and his....issues.

The running game does need fixing and maybe your right clinton portis doesnt belong in denver, but its not couse of his antics,. i think denver is one of those organizations that jut fixes people, you learn to play with class or you dont play. you never know what might happen, javon caused some antics in green bay, got hurt and was traded. clinton portis caused some antics, got hurt, and with the way betts is playing portis might get traded.....seems kinda similar. but i agree, keep mike bell, he's a hard nse guys and he can score touch downs, he just needs work.

Its also not just the running backs. the o-line is getting old, they may be very experienced but experience can only help so much. it seems like every one on the d-line is ethier wicked fast or wicked strong. with the knds of d-linemen coming out of college we need an upgrade. im not saying screw the whole lot of them, but maybe if we could slowly insert new linemen we could keep the cohesiveness of that group.

dbroncofan_09,

Clinton Portis isn't very good and I don't think Shanny liked his antics. Not only that, Portis is getting old for a RB. Time to draft one I think. We should keep Mike Bell...he is a hard runner. Tatum is disappointing for often than not. Anyone else notice that he goes down at the slightest touch most of the time? He breaks big plays when he isn't really touched by anyone. If one were to play Madden 07 or something, Tatum's "break tackle" rating would be in the low 20's out of a possible 99. lol I doubt many old timers will understand that comparison. :)
