I love that story. Thank you for sharing. Tell her to keep the faith this season--we've got a tough one ahead, but a good one!

ThunderGirl--
Thank you so much! Wow, the past two games have really been something else. It is always fun to perform new material, so I am glad you enjoyed the show. This game was unforgettable--Whether this was your 1st season or your 6th, the game against the Raiders will be one not soon forgotten. It's too bad we won't be able to see your daughter in our Junior clinics, however, it is so refreshing to hear that your daughter really has a passion and a heart for something that has played such a significant role in so many of our lives. There is nothing wrong with watching and learning--the day she is ready we will welcome her to auditions with open arms! I look forward to seeing all of you at the upcoming game...make a sign so we can be point you out and get you a football!

Hey Keela,
You guys were great at the home opener. I like your new endzone dance!
I have 2 little girls who look up to the Broncos Cheerleaders. In fact we got tickets to this weekend game on the fourth row, so my youngest daughter can see you guys up close. This is her first game and she is really excited. She tells everyone, that when she grows up she wants to be a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. That is something I will support her in. We live in Utah, so she cannot be a Jr. Cheerleader. I wish she could, but for now she can watch and learn. Have a wonderful weekend. As always, GO BRONCOS!

Yes, we've been lucky enough to get to know Tamara a bit as we are "regulars" at her family's restaurant.

Not surprisingly she has been too modest to tell us about her publishing exploits - but we'll ask her about it the next time we see her !!

See you Sunday.

Good Afternoon Everyone!

When I decided to start writing this blog I had two intentions:
1.) Offer a perspective to read that may be different from what they see on game day about our team.
2.) Create an outlet for fans to communicate with organization that WE ALL root for throughout the year. I appreciate your generous feedback on our activity in the community. And I myself am amazed at the women I work, dance and serve beside on a daily basis. I think one of the most dynamic parts about our team is all of the service work that the women accomplish outside of the stadium. While we have some wonderful opportunities to connect to the Denver Metro community and worldwide--so many of the women on our team create service opportunities in their personal lives! We have so many unique stories on our team that really create the tone for what our team is about. For example, Sarah Culter coaches a youth Special Olympics team, Candice Jones taught english in Thailand for 1 year with her husband, Tamara Franier is a published author--we have mothers, teachers, students, travelers...we have some women on our team! I am glad that we now have an outlet to share a little bit of our lives with you, and hear a little more about the people we try so hard to connect with on game day and throughout the season.
I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Tuesday..oh so close to Broncos Sunday!

God Bless!

Keela, don't let that knucklhead above me mess with you. I take my daughter to the games and the only reason she wants to go is to see the cheerleaders. I get to spend time with my nine yr old daughter and watch the game at the same time so it is a win win for me.. So I will say that the cheerleaders are a huge part of the team and keep up all the hard work I do appreciate all that you do.

Keela,

So cheer-leaders are actuall part of the team?!?!
Lol just giving you a hard time this is my first time actally reading your blog... I think great that all of you take the time to write your thoughts and give your insight... if nothing else it is a great tool to keep me distracted from all of the homework I should be doing right now but hey I will get to it at some point probably!!!
Bummer you didn't get to catch the whole game we really did well even though the score was so close... Hopefully you will have a couple of more points to cheer about this weekend!!! I will try to spot you out at some point from my seats in section 523 if I can see the field from all the way up there lol!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!!!
