These headlines just keep getting lengthier and lengthier, eh …

In the past two days, John Lynch has felt well enough to practice, and Thursday afternoon he was at the point where he could linger on the field with some of his fellow defensive backs, getting extra conditioning work in on the FieldTurf surface adjacent to the west practice field the Broncos utilized for the two-and-a-half hour session.
Does all that mean he’ll be able to play on Sunday, less than two weeks after he suffered a neck stinger against the Green Bay Packers? Not even the 15-year veteran knows for sure.
“As for this week, I don’t know,” Lynch said. “I have to talk to (Head Coach) Mike (Shanahan) and see where we’re at. The plan was to go out and test it a couple of days and see where we’re at. It hasn’t gotten worse. It’s gotten better, in fact.
“Ultimately it comes down to a gut (feeling) of myself and Coach and Greek (Head Athletic Trainer Steve Antonopulos) and everyone there.”
While Lynch was in uniform on Thursday, he was limited in his practice-time work, just as he was Wednesda.
“We did not hit him, for obvious reasons,” Shanahan said. “But he is practicing, so that is a positive.”
All Lynch can really do now is work out on the field and wait for time to run its course and for the remaining tingling feeling in his arm to dissipate for good.
“I think there’s still something there, but I’m feeling good and it’s getting better,” Lynch said.
“I’ve played with just about everything there is, from dislocated shoulders to torn ligaments in my knee. You can fight through that. But these things, until they’re ready, it’s just foolish to go out there. I would argue with them (about playing) — before I’d gone through this last time. When the nerve’s hot, it’s just not ready.”
Quarterback Jay Cutler, however, is ready after going through the full practice regimen for a second consecutive day.

“He’ll be ready to go,” Shanahan said. “There should be no setback. He’s still a little bit sore. He had a good practice.”
The same could not be said for running back Travis Henry, who was held out for a second consecutive day while recovering from the slight knee injury he incurred (last) Sunday at Detroit.
“He’s still a little bit too sore,” Shanahan said. “We’ll see how he is (Friday).”
Other bits of injury news …
… John Engleberger saw limited work in practice Thursday; he sat out Wednesday with a shoulder injury … Elvis Dumervil (knee), Glenn Martinez (bruised ribs), Karl Paymah (knee), Cecil Sapp (calf) and D.J. Williams (finger) all took part in the full range of practice work Friday … Chiefs offensive tackle Damion McIntosh did not take part in practice for a second consecutive day; he’s been sick with a tonsil problem this week, but Kansas City head coach Herman Edwards expects him to be able to play Sunday. McIntosh did take part in Kansas City’s walk-through session Thursday … Chiefs tight end Jason Dunn was at Chiefs practice, but Edwards said he did not take part; he has a scratched eye. Earlier this week, Edwards ruled out running back Larry Johnson for the game; offensive tackle Will Svitek has also already been ruled out.

Glad to see Jay is back in action, lets get the rest of the crew back in and save the season. Only a game out of first fellas, time to turn up the volume and show the world what you’re made of!!
Awesome that Cutler is back. Lynch should just retire he is done the man has not more heart! Travis your lucky to still be playing so suck it up and help your team out. You can cry about your scratches when get suspended. I trust selvin young and hall to take the load we dont need you travis henry!!!
I beg to differ Maceano, Lynch has plenty of heart, clearly more heart than you he wants to play. What’s wrong with you? If you had any heart about this team you wouldn’t encourage for someone just to retire b/c he’s in his 30s. Take a look around the entire NFL dude, there are probably more 30 year olds than you realize… Brett Favre ring a bell? I believe him and his cheeseheads beat us on MNF… 30 and still strong. Glad Cutler is okay, he’s gonna do great Sunday!!
GO BRONCOS!!!
Maceano, if you’ve ever had tingling or numbness down your arms, you’d understand it’s one of the scariest sensations anyone can experience. Trust me, I know — I woke up this spring and had no feeling in either of my arms, and it was about as frightened as I’ve ever been for any health-related reason. You don’t mess around with stuff like that, and for you to question Lynch’s heart — or that of any player battling through injury — is pure idiocy. But then again, you accused Champ Bailey of faking an injury, so I don’t expect much in the way of intelligence or rationality from your posts.See, this is the problem I have with the Internet … anyone can just throw random, unsubstantiated garbage out there and get me riled up.
I guess Andrew does read all the posts even if he does not reply.
Always good to know, as much as I believe the Broncos are not going to win it this year I would give my left nut for them to turn it around and do so, as I said in a previous blog. But I know I will see them win it sometime during the next 30 or so years that I should hopefully be able to be a fan for.
It depends on the moment and how much time I have … right now I’m just editing some stories and working on a lengthy piece, so I’m clicking back over here … so I can reply. It also depends upon the subject matter — as a team employee, there are some things I just can’t talk about, whether I know anything specific on the subject or not (which is actually quite often the case).
Maceano i am with you, i see no heart in lynch to tell you the truth you can bash me all you want broncos fans but come on have you noticed after that fox nfl sunday he did he seems to be more intrested in that than auctally hitting people. Also Props to cutler for fighting threw injury and playing, that is how ALL Football players should be suck it up!
I agree that Lynch has plenty of heart…just don’t think he has the speed to cover anyone. I also have plenty of faith in Selvin, Travis has been inconsistent and has had nagging injuries- not just this year, but in his career. I don’t beieve Champ would ever do such a thing.
The special teams has looked improved, Hall looks good. Can’t say as much for the offense or defense. It is very frustrating. I agree with some that firing Coyer and defensive players was a cover up for Heimindinger. I was yelling for heimindingers resignation in the stands against SF loss last year.
Want to see anything that resembles a game plan this week on offense that includes alot more Selvin, more attacking and less predictable plays. What hapened to the fade pass in the end zone, especially with Brandon Marshall?
Had to look up the players we aquired on D because I never heard of them. Would like to see some pride out there on defense, maybe some heart and mostly I would like to see a leader emerge. We attacked Pittsburgh and won- what happened last week? Would be interetested in seeing Beck play on D. Understand he’s doing very well on ST’s.
I haven’t thrown in the towel, but I know some have. A win by more than a field goal in the last seconds in KC could turn this season around.
I love this team, but this team looks lethargic and unmotivated. With all the injuries, maybe not very well conditioned either. I dont really care who plays out there, as long as they PLAY out there.
Pull it together boys. I’m tired of my friends from around the country telling me my Denver Donkeys couldn’t beat Notre Dame. Go win us a game by at least 14 this week AND NEXT! Please
Don’t want to hear about improvements or see pointing fingers…just want to see results! GO Denver BRONCOS!
im glad travis henry isnt gonna play, he sucks. i cant wait till that pothead gets suspended. i would like to see more deep passes to marshall! and alot more young, as well as blitzing, i remember when we beat the pats a couple of seasons ago, and seeing tom brady on his ass was a very happy moment, i want more of that!
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!
only 1 game back!
your the pothead Travis Henry is amzing and B Marshall is the best WR
There is varying degree’s of injuries and to lump them all together is assnine. If they played through it and then did not play at the level the are capable of playing you would be asking for their heads next. Nobody likes to lose, whether you play for money or for the fun doesn’t matter. What you are asking a player to do by playing through a neck injury is the same as you getting in a car crash and after the emt’s and firefighters get you out of your car, they tell you to go run around do some jumping jacks. I bet you wouldn’t volunteer to do that would you. If they come back later and play at the level they are capable of playing, after another player fills in for them it is a win ,win situation for the team which is all that matters.
Cutler is goina play ?……we have a chance now !
SD will lose sunday no doubt (they better I got too much $ on the game)
If we can pull out a win, we are tied for first and the next hurdle is getting people healthy….SD has not been hot with the injury bug, they may not, but if they do we gain advantage….
Plus, SD is horrible if you stop LT and Gates….people finally see that P. Rivers is avg at best….
When he’s healthy, Travis is good, not great and definitely not amazing. How many TD’s does he have? Runs over 10 yards? Marshall is a great reciever and should get the ball more…a lot more! This is a show me league…
BATES and D- Show me some D…any D! ATTACK
Heimendinger and O- Show me some scores! ATTACK
Show me some pride and heart! No more Denver Donkeys!
GO BRONCOS!
Few points/questions if you could answer andrew or anyone would be great:
Why have all this questionable/probable nonsense? I’m from the UK and don’t see the point in taking anything that coaches say seriously; clearly coaches will keep their cards close to their chest for as long as possible, so why bother asking and reporting probable/questionable/doubtful?
Why do people doubt players heart if they are injured? Realisitically the Broncos have a lot of vets, it makes sense that theyd be more likely to be injured. I doubt lynch would wimp out after having had such a major neck injury in the past, nor would i imagine that any nfl player, havng played the game at high levels before, would wimp out. They’re playing for new contracts, and for most players, their lives post football.
Why did we fire Coyer? I understand the concerns about our defensive line not creating pressure, and our defense being worn down because it’s small but I thought the scheme we had fit our personnel well. With any new scheme it takes years to get it in place and to get the right people. Why not just make the same draft, maybe adding a safety to replace lynch, getting another defensive tackle through trade (Kris Jenkins maybe, who i understand is an exceptional athlete and has great speed for his size so would fit the scheme). Whats this about heimerdinger? Who is he and why should he have been fired?
Offensive players- Im wondering why we signed daniel graham for so much if he’s there to just block? I thought this guy was ben watson mark 2? If he is then we should be getting him deeper! Travis henry is great for our scheme but we needed to share the load earlier in the season. He’s taken a lot of carries when we should have been putting in young (wheres mike bell gone) and cecil sapp to keep him fit. We should have traded/signed a real speedster to offerthe deep ball. Without walker we have no real deep threat, he just needs to push their safeties back a bit so we can run more effectively.
Maceano and BMarsh15, anyone who has never played football before and has just read about it does not understand that with a stinger, any time you hit someone, your arms go completely numb when not thoroughly healed. A 100% Hamza Abdullah (or whoever will be the back up) will be better than a 50% John Lynch who can’t wrap the ball carrier up. As for Henry, I say plug him in, let him amass some good stats, then trade him away in the offseason. Next year, we should acquire a good power back (like a Najeh Davenport). The running back system in Denver always worked best when there was a power runner to wear down the defense then have a speed back (Young) run all over them.
I am excited for Cutler to be back and I think he is the real deal. The Broncos aren’t out of it just yet. There are two things that need to happen for us to turn this season around better run defense and I hate to say it but better offensive play calling. Not a lot of big plays this season we look really good sometimes but come on MNF on the 3 yard-line with 18 seconds to go and we don’t throw one into the endzone? That’s just one play and I not trying to be a downer cause I believe we can turn it around. Hopefully we can game plan a little better and our rush defense shows up to play.
I seem to remember a hole lot of people rolling over on the Rockies, we all know how they did as for all the ney sayers when denver turns things around this year or next and you talk trash about a team you are sopoused to be a fan of you dont deserve to call yourself a fan. If that is the type of you are (only the good times) GO BE A RAIDER FAN AND SEE HOW LOOSING FEELS LONG TERM. And to all those who think Shanny shouldnt be in control YOU ARE AN IDIOT. He is the best coach this team has ever had!
wow travis henrys good but &^#$ed me off how he gets injured. If they win there
I think T.Henry is a good back but he’s been hurt and hasn’t been able to get into a rhytm. I think he he will play but regardless we will see alot of young. As far as the comments about lynch go there is no way im gonna fix my mouth to say that he has no heart left or that he is a coward for not playing with his neck injury. the guy is great and his toughness was always a part of his game, but i’ve known for the last few years that he was a liabiltiy in pass coverage. And this season he has only gotten worse i havent seen him make a big play all season but ive seen him miss tackles. He can still help our team but he not the player he used to be. i think its time we make a move for a big play safety either in the draft or by trade, maybe a guy like ed reed. I think we could trade for him. Any way i still have faith that the broncos will somehow mystically turn this around and sneek into the playoffs.
Here’s the drill…..Travis Henry was, in my opinion, way overpaid. All the talk about him being a “perfect” fit in this offense are a little overblown considering the “toughness” that he was originally known for is a thing of the past. In Buffalo, he used to play through fractured fibulas, but now, we can’t even get him to practice with knee sprains?? Not to mention his inability to steer clear of Mary Jane…..
On Defense, I like Jim Bates as a defensive coordinator, but I think that he should’ve adapted his scheme to the personnel instead of the other way around. After 3-4 games, it was pretty clear they didn’t get it, so a change should’ve been made. It makes no sense to have this kind of talent on defense and suck this bad!
Good assessment on Bates, or not. Every good coach knows you have to build a scheme to fit the personel unless your REBUILDING! Get it together Bates so we don’t have to fire the whole defensive team.
Last 2 drafts surprised me….Clarret 2 years ago and no safeties or linebackers this year. Look at Harris in NY (Jets) and Weddle in SD. Definitely 2 guys I’ve was looking at. Hope they do better this year. In the meantime,
This season isn’t over. Travis and Graham were both overpaid, but has a lot to do with playcalling. Heimendinger is the offensive coordinator for you who asked above and in my eyes the problem with this offense. I haven’t seen one player this year on offense not playing. They all have talent which leads me to conclude that it’s the playcalling- Hiemendinger. Offense lacks any deep threat CALLS and lacks any ingenuity. It’s obvious to me what this offense is going to do so Im sure the opposition does.
The D changes every week so I’m not sure how they are going to get continuity by playing together Bates. Fit a scheme to the personel! Dont fire people!
I’m a little late chiming in on this, but everyone questioning Lynch’s toughness and integrity are morons and should go support the team in oakland, because that’s about the level of class you are showing. Andrew, thank you for calling these “fans” out like you did. Lynch is not only one of the toughest men in the NFL over the last two decades, he is also one of the true role models for young players, children, etc. For those of us typing away on a computer to question his heart, when he has always been one of the good guys in the leage, is totally asinine. We should consider ourselves lucky that, for the last few years, we were given the good fortune to have Lynch AND Rod Smith on the team we all love. I just hope he is able to walk away from the game without injuring himself permanently. Just like Al Wilson, I loved to watch him play, but I would also like to see him healthy at his HOF ceremony years from now.
Go Broncos!!!
I hope Shanahan reads the posts on here. Obviously some of the people on this blog are much smarter than the coaching staff. Who would’ve guessed that all the answers to go undefeated are just a mouse click away.
Whoever is criticizing Lynch is an idiot…..The guy is fierce competitior and lays it all out on the field….if you people (who are bashig him) had numbness like he did, you would probably skip desk job and you are asking Lynch to go out there and take hits as a football player….Think before you post!!!!
I think the Broncos will turn it around and win the division…
Go Broncos!!!
Ok, if Lynch has no heart then why don’t you idiots who think that line up and take a hit from him? Even at 50% he’ll destroy you. Take a look at the defence when he isnt in there. Absolutely no run stopping ability. He is the gap stuffer. As for his pass coverage? I he isn’t designed to cover 1 on 1 thats what Bailey and Bly are for, but watch what happens when some reciever/back/or TE comes across the middle or through his zone, Lynch says LIGHTS OUT! I don’t think anyone will debate that Atwater was an outstanding run stopper, but just above average cover man. Lynch is in the same mold. 15 years and still at the top. Andrew if you read this please pass on my support and well wishes to Lynch (and the rest of the team). Those of you that think he is wussing out because of a stinger are morons! Take a hot poker, jam it into your neck, inject novecain into both arms, then try to do anything physical, that is if you can pull your fat a55e5 away from the bag of potato chips.
One more thing. VegasBronco hit the nail on the head. Lynch is not only an outstanding player but an outstanding human being. His community involvement is second to none. The entitlement generation in the league today need to take a good look at what makes people great. Working hard for what you have, appreciating what you have, then thanking the people that helped you get what you have. It’s not just doing the right thing, its doing whats right when no one is looking! GO BRONCOS!
Lynch has heart, I disagree with the guy who said that, however:
When we all agree that a COMPLETE overhaul is necessary for this organization to win the big one, all the way up to head coach. Shanahan has had 9 years, 3 hand picked QB’s and NOTHING…one playoff win because of the Snake.
Everyone on hear cries for Lynch, Smith, etc…..Those guys have a ton of heart and were GREAT players, HOF caliber players, but they’re done. Just as Jerry Rice was, just as Mccaffrey retired…DONE. Stop crying for the old man team to suit up and play like they did five years ago. Smith was out there catching as many passes as Mccaffrey in 97-98 and guess what, he wasn’t a rookie. He’s old, let him go peacefully, let Lynch go, don’t risk it. From what I see on TV he has a wonder family and is a good man and father, Lynch don’t do it, hang em up.
Cutler, the guy can barely walk and Shanahan is throwing him back out to the wolves. You guys on here LOVE Cutler so much, let him have a break, let him COMPLETELY HEAL before SHANAHAN RUINS HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no disagreements with AZ about Lynch. He is and has been a standup player on the team and in the community and has been one of favorites for the past 3 years. I think if he could play he would, but some things are more important. He needs to take care of himself for his family. He may still be able to lay the wood but he can not cover and should only be in on running downs. He is a great asset at stopping the run. I still like him but he just doesn’t have the speed anymore to be in coverage. I’m not criticizing him, it’s just a fact. I have had a stinger and I empathize and people on my team didn’t understand so I don’t expect any Joe Shmo to. I wish him the best.
GO Broncos
lets get a much needed win sunday . go broncos.111
Anyone who questions Lynch’s heart is a jack ass, plain and simple. Go play in on coming traffic. Once again we have proof that stupid people are breeding. Complete overhaul is not needed either, although I hear whispers that Shanahan is fearing the worst at the end of the season. I read an article stating he was planning on pinning the seasons bad personnel moves on his figure head GM, I hope it’s just some hack and not based on anything substantial. 8 games to go men, suck it up, strap it on, score some points.
Andrew its about time you show a little passion I have never heard you respond to any posts. Its good for you to get more into your blogs. As for my comments I have been a huge Broncos fan my entire life and it frustrates me to see such a lack of effort. For you Andrew to defend a team that is obviously just rolling over and accepting a rebuilding year is pretty disheartening! I have followed Lynch is whole career at Standford and Tampa Bay and I have never seen him lay down like he has this year. There are a lot of young players on this team that are looking to him for leadership and he is not stepping up. Did you see last game when he was on the sidelines zoned out not helping out those young guys. These guys need him out there even if he is not playing he should still show some enthusiasm and get these guys motivated. So that is why I said he is showing no more heart like he used too!!! MAKE SENSE?
In the Johnny Drama of Entourage voice:
“Let LPP be the first to defend my man Andrew bro! He responds to many posts, daily, so you must be on crack to come on here and say Andrew has no passion bro.”
Ok and without the comedy routine….every ought to start asking for Maceano to be banned now since he BASHED the guy that allows us to utilize this site!
Mason, please allow me:
Maceano, Maceano, Maceano….still living with mom in the 1 bedroom apartment? Thought so.
Listen, carefully because I’m only going to say this once. You shouldn’t of responded to Mason. It only showed more collectively that you’re not so bright on the pig skin topics, let alone calling out Mason. You make a retarded statement to begin this whole nonsense then call the man that gives us all the opportunity to come together, passionless. Brilliant, freakin brilliant. Is it me, or does anyone else see maceano post anything other than his “expert diagnosis” of injuries & heart.
Mason,
You’re right, he’s never had those symptoms. Because if he did, he wouldn’t be letting his intelligence show through his typing. Hell, even LPP called you out
Do us all one BIG! favor. The next time you sit in front of your Sponge Bob computer. Think to yourelf. “Is what I’m about to type, incorrect, embarrasingly stupid, or just plain out retarded?” If the answer is yes, then get up, shut down the pineapple under the sea, and watch reruns of M*A*S*H. Leave Mason & Lynch out of your thought process. There both way out of your league.
Mason, thanks again for the opportunity you give us all. It is very much appreciated by all I’m sure.
Take care and Go Get Em’ Boys!
LPP, We have many playoff loses due to the snake in these past few years aswell. And the one win, if you ask me, was in a large part to champ. Look at the steelers loss at home, how did jake play in that game… holy **** he was horrible.
The situation the Broncos find themselves in is just so frustrating to me. Obviously, Denver has been playing downright lousy football more often than not this season, more than at any time I can remember, even in 1990 when Denver went 5-11 even though they were competitive in almost every game that season. I guess it’s so frustrating because if Denver could just put together a complete effort each game, they would be winning the division and be in decent shape to at least get to playoffs and gain a little postseason experience even if that meant losing in the Wild Card round or getting steamrolled by the New Patriots juggernaut in the Divisional round.
The optimist in me says, the Broncos will find a way to win in a place that Denver absolutely does not play well in, Arrowhead Stadium, which will turn the season around and give us some momentum heading into some winnable games remaining on the schedule. The realist/pessimist in me, believes we are in for another letdown in Kansas City in typical Denver fashion and from there finishes no better than 7-9.
Broncofan1088: Calling the loss to the Steelers “due to the Snake” is erronous…if Joey Porter’s blitz doesn’t STEAMROLL the 2005 Broncos’ offensive line like they were…well, the 2007 Broncos’ offensive line, Plummer doesn’t get hit to fumble and the Steelers don’t go up by 10 in the 1st quarter. Their next possesion, Pittsburgh picked the Broncos D to absolute pieces by going 80 yards in 8 agonizing minutes and it was 17-3. The following two picks (one bit back with a score, one didn’t,) well, those are Jake’s fault but they were the only huge mistakes of the day way where one could clearly prove he was more at fault than his teammates.
Pittsburgh held Mike Anderson and Tatum Bell…and Jake(!) to just over 30 yards apiece, the running game nullified almost completely. The Steelers, after jumping out to a big early lead, got to sit back and play conservative, controlling the clock and spreading out short gains. Jake still managed to put together two drives in the second half that resulted in TDs despite the running game nearly disappearing. That last fumble, by the way, was the result of two consecutive breakdowns by the O-line (sound familiar, fans who watched Cutler get ripped last Sunday?) which exposed Jake to hard sacks by the Steelers D.
Would Jay Cutler have fared better? Come on. Hell, for that matter, how much better could Elway have done? Elway NEVER had such a lack of O-line under Reeves and under Shanahan he had 3 All-Pro caliber partners to look to, meaning the other D had to respect the matchups and cut back on blitzes. With the line breaking like that, the game maybe becomes competitive for a QB having a “good” day, but Jake was running for his life most of the day and the Steelers had your classic Bill Cowher hard-nosed D that year. Even a “good” quarterback has trouble overcoming a classic Shanahan O-line against a fast, swarming, blitz-heavy defense when the running game isn’t working either.
I’m biased because I dislike what Shanahan’s done to the current team and that includes his rushed handling of Cutler, who should not have started a game until week 1 of this season. But this is how other fans sound to me regarding the 05 playoff hunt: “We beat the Patriots as a team, maybe even DESPITE Jake Plummer.” and “We lost to the Steelers BECAUSE of Jake Plummer.”
That’s ridiculous. Save the finger pointing for Shanahan, who not only points fingers better than anyone else but is LONG overdue for some fingers pointing in his direction.
I think that all of the injuries this year are due to poor conditioning… I mean REEAALLY, how many teams have you seen that have lost this many starers in one season?
LETS BE AGGRESSIVE ON OFFENSE AND DEFENSE THE TIGHTENDS SHOULD HAVE BIG GAMES . PUT THE CHIEFS IN 3RD AND LONG AND GET SOME TURNOVERS AND WIN. CUTLER THROWS FOR 4 TDS. GO BRONCOS11!
That doesnt make sense Broncfalls I am a Certified flight instructor at centennial airport I dont think I am doing all that bad. What does my proffesion or living arrangement have anything to do with my views on football and this blog? You need to calm down on your assumptions and focus on your life that seems to be in disarray! Its ok though I know you are sorry. As for my previous statements I stand by them. Its funny listening to you though you seem like someone who is on the bandwagon I bet you would have stuck up for Simeon Rice earlier and now look he was realesed. Sometimes you just get to old to play football. You cant compare a Quarterbacks age to a Safeties. A QB can be 40 and play, a safety doesnt usually make it into there mid to late 30′s. I mean look at guys like Ken Houston, Willie Wood, Larry Wilson. These are all Hall of Famers that didnt play into there mid 30′s! So when I say that it may be time for Lynch to retire it is because of great athletes before him that played the same position and didnt play as late in there live’s as he has. Plus I was proud of Andrew Mason responding to my post it means he does care what us fans have to say!
anyone who thinks Maceano is right your a dumbass. end of story. so youd prefer henry went out injured his knee more and was out for however long we’ll have him, depending if he actually wins his case, and youd also rather have john lynch our best saftey go out and get himself out for the rest of the season too? that would totally blow our playoff chances which are bad enough as it is.
we need a franchise qb get cutler out
I despise ignorant people. Go join the Raider fan base losers.
I do not think we win in KC
; We are not defensive (thanks to Bates and Shanahan). 2007 is over, thanks to decisions by Shanahan. I am angry and sad at the same time, there is nothing offensive, Cutler
It is very novice. I think the worst madness Shanahan was changed to Plummer. Bring to another head coach we need
Fire Bates, fire Bill Johnson, fire Scott O´B.
——————————————————————————–
So are we going to play Fox or Hamaza this game at safety?
Whitehose, my man, many quarterbacks get sacked and tackled, not all of them fumble like Give me a break, anyone who watched that game knows he played horrible. Cutler would have done better, if you ask me, but that is opnion based as we will never be able to find out.
Thank spirits we’ll get the help we need from payton n the boys, and i c us staying up top as our schedule is more favorable then both of our other two potenial theats.
We may not be great, the season has been painful but tomorrow when I am 5 rows back of the 40 yard line, surround by idiot fans of the hated Chiefs, I can still smile that Our Broncos are on the field and I can hope they will play the best game they have all year. I wish more of you were going to be there with me (Except Maceano…he is annoying the hell out of me).
GO BRONCOS CRUSH THE CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cutler is a franchise QB. He may make mistakes here and there, but he still hasn’t played a full season. Cutler has played great when we need a scoring drive, in the fourth quarter. and remember he doesnt have rod smith or javon walker. Brandon Marshall is an incredible WR, and Stokley is clutch.
on another subject, if travis henry is going to be suspended, we need more of a power running game, i have nothing against Young and Hall, but where is Mike Bell? He showed up big last year, and i’d like to see him get some touches. he can make a much bigger impact to this football team as a running back rather than a second string full back.
No doubt in my mind that we will win against the Chiefs, and there will be a 3 way tie for the AFC west after sunday. our defense is much better with lynch in there. look for us to turn it around this second half this season.
GO BRONCOS BEAT THE CHIEFS
Thank you WhiteHoss!!! You hit the nail squarely on the head regarding the loss to the Steelers. That was the beginning of the horrendous playcalling we’ve been seeing over the last season and a half, and I couldn’t agree with you more that any mistakes the TEAM made that day were a result of the inability to handle the blitz, and the lack of the running game. I still maintain that we went away from mike anderson (speaking of players we miss) WAY too early that day…..But I digress…….
