First couple games have been rough on both sides, but anyone who thinks this team is medocre is delusional. The strong point right now is without question the offence, who has all of the tools to become the premier offence in The League, but it's the Defense that's still #3 overall, led by a sick pass-defense (88.3 yards per game with the #2 passing defense giving up FIFTY PERCENT more yards so far? If you put that in a football movie it would ruin the story because it's too much). 2-1, should be 0-3, could be 3-0, whatever... the NFL season is 16 games long, even in the AFC we can lose another 5, possibly 6 games and make the playoffs while letting the little things work themselves out. And once this team works out the kinks, look out.
And going for it on 4th down at your own 9? To do otherwise would have been to forfeit; you don't win superbowls by accepting 14-20 defeats instead of risking 14-27 trying for a 21-20 advantage. But even in other circumstances, it's a solid decision. Courageous, and a display of faith in your players; even given the outcome, my favorite play so far this season (hind-sight's 20-20; without knowing the future and already knowing the result would be a fieldgoal by Jax, the decision has to be to go for it); if the guts to go for it on 4th and long at the 9 can penetrate the players' helmets and get in them, 'Great Success!'

Plain and simple the defense SUCKS!!! We have been building defense for the last 3 or 4 off seasons. We use draft picks, trades, and free agency, and we have two corners that are great but was given up good yards underneath last Sunday. What does Bates and the defense think is going to happen in Indy this weekend. Payton will take what you give him you give 4 to 5 yards underneath all day then that is how they will move the ball. All eleven players stunk it up Sunday. I can't be too hard on the offense they hardly had the ball enough to do anything with. Couple more possession and we are maybe 3-0. But good to have this happen now instead of the playoffs. Cause now they can do something about this hopefully. If we kept on winning these games that we were decided so closely then everything would of probably be still swept under the rug. If something doesn’t change then it will be 80 to nothing this weekend with Addai with 300 yards from scrimmage!!!

the problems lyes in ball control every time they run the ball the broncos are successful and the deffense dose wll enought to win. I dont know why they dont run the ball more it work. you have play action with out the play first. If they will do this I think the season will be very seccessful, but if not it will be over very quickly.

The easiest fix for the Broncos this season is to start getting touchdowns in the red zone. Yes, we have some issues on defense that need to be ironed out, but if we can score those 2-3 TDs per game were giving away we end up with wins. I have been amazed by the level of teamwork the offense has shown this year. They effortlessly march down the field on the majority of posessions like a TEAM should. Pulling together the red zone offense is the key to the broncos success. As for the defense... Speed is always a bonus but a defense cannot be succesfull against all types of offenses unless there is a mixture of size/strength/speed. Beef it up next year!!!

I hate to live in the past, but here goes anyway. I miss AL WILSON. Had he been playing in the middle, he would of thwarted the go ahead touchdown on the goal-line. Now to my point. Our defense is very hesitant. They look confused. Not sure how many times a defensive end has get sucked in on play action. Every time Jax. was in 3rd down they would run play action boot, a running back in the flat, 1st down. This defensive system is killing us. I'm sorry but we got rid of a lot of good players. We had no problems with the run last year, only the pass. We corrected that issue by adding Dre Bly. A little more blitzes, probably would be pretty successful. This loss was a team loss. We were blessed with a golden opportunity. Down by six, we were gift wrapped a golden opportunity. Grahm drops a sure pass. Are u kidding me, as much as he cost. Jay through that ball right on the money. Special players, make special plays. Bonehead call, quarterback sneak on fourth and a long yard. Wow!!! Ok Ok i'm venting too much. Bottom line we are going to get killed against the colts. They are pretty balanced. Even if not we are on a roll to make every running back we play look like a stud.

Out team is not good. We are a middle of the pack NFL team at best. That doent mean we are giving up on the Bronces. it just means we are being honest and stopping with all the excuses. Our problem lies with the defensive front 7. They are soft and probably couldnt stop the Trojans. The sad thing is that we are not even getting better. We are getting worse with each game and have not even played a team with a premier runner.
