Yeah, this guy played well, and definitely fit the 'Big Nickel' role to a T. Its all about his recovery, at this point. If he can work his way back to the form he had before getting hurt, he's gonna play. Denver is in a division with two of the best Tight Ends of All-Time (of course the very best played for the Broncos), and they need some way to defense against that. Both KC and SD rely very heavily on their TEs to catch the ball. The fact that Brandon did a pretty good job keeping those two guys (Gonzales and Gates) from causing havoc is a good enough reason to me to give him another shot.

Sam Brandon has improved each year and has a bright future in Denver, IF he recovers from the ACL injury. Shutting down Gates and Gonzales is a tough job and Brandon shows a lot of talent with his accomplishments. Lets hopw that Coach Bates utilizes the "big nickel" in his schems.

I THINK THAT SAM SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE STARTING FREE SAFETY AND JOHN SHOULD MOVE TO STRONG . LAST YEAR AT THE DOLPHINS ,SAM HAD TO PLAY CORNER. I THINK HE DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB COVERING THE WR.

Yet another youngster who stepped up for us this year. He played a heck of a game against Pittsburgh, and indeed did solidify his spot as the "Big Nickel" back. I just hope he comes back healthy next year as our secondary was depleted. I mean hey, I love Foxworth and his abilities, but when you have him starting at Saftey...there is concern. Im thinkin Brandon will rehab further and continue his journey towards recovery.
