Relaxing With My Mind on Football

October 12th, 2011 - 4:34pm by Rahim Moore

I want to say to the fans, I love you, and I’m headed home to see my family and all my boys.

You can tell I’m excited.

I’m just going to go home and spend some time with the family, just chill out and see my little cousins and everybody. It will be nice to get some down time, but also think about how I can improve and finish strong the rest of the season.

Of course it’s good to relax, but I’m also going to go back to my high school. I do that once a year. It gives me motivation. It lets me know how hard I worked to get here. If I can make it through there, I can make it through here.

One thing about the bye week, it’s a bye week, but you can’t be bye bye from football. You’ve still got to keep working and have football in your mind.

Catch up with you next week.

Ryan and Orton together is like an oxymoron, wishful thinking on your part there.

  2. strandoftds says:

When I hear them it just kills me, especially Hoge. I didn`t know Dilpher was a 6th overall pick, I mean geez louise. Anyway, hoge was a RB and no superstar. So to hear about his numbers makes me laugh.

Being able to quantify things isn’t a bad thing, but you need to be able to judge those things you can’t measure, heart, leadership, will power, and smarts. I feel when Fox and Co. were evaluating Tebow, Orton and Quinn they were only looking on paper. I think they all got a glipse last Sunday on the one thing they didn’t measure, his heart, leadership, and will power. Now you can have all those things and still fail, but I’d sure like to know one person that all those traits and still failed…

It’s funny I never listen to any of those guys, why would anyone if you hate them so much….

  5. baylinorcrush says:

That’s why they invented remote controls, LOL.

  6. brian_schneider says:

I think for those guys it’s more of the “I’ve played in the NFL, I know what it takes and you don’t have what it takes” mentality when talking about younger players.

  7. strandoftds says:

Oh yeah I`m jealous of some bloggers. LOL

  8. strandoftds says:

    J/K.

  9. baylinorcrush says:

Some are, obviously stupid ones like Hoge and Dilfer, LOL.

  10. strandoftds says:

When I see Hoge on I do change the channel. Bay, when he talks about Tim, the veins in his neck flare out. I believe he wants Tebow to fail. For what reason I have no clue, but thats his problem.

  11. brian_schneider says:

What’s interesting is that it is always “those” guys that can never give an unbiased analysis of a player. It’s one thing to show stats and highlights and give an actual unbiased analysis, but those guys are always “no he can’t do that or this and he never will blah blah blah.” NFL Network needs to hire some better analysits.

    *analysts*

  13. brian_schneider says:

I need to hire some better fingers to type with…

  14. henryac says:

You are right, Bay. The greatest invention in the history of remote controls was the mute button!! I’ve just about worn mine out!

  15. strandoftds says:

I just take it to personal though. I get mad when people think their better than others. I can`t stand arogance, it bothers the hell out of me.

  16. strandoftds says:

Brian, you are right, thet need to get a whole new crew at the NFL Network. In my eyes they are unprofessional. I enjoy seeing Marshall Faulk on when he`s on, Faulk is a class act.

  17. strandoftds says:

    They. Wrong key.

  18. royalbroncofan1 says:

So bay, any chance Broncos go out and get a DT before the trade deadline. or sign FA.
Looks like we could use another one for rotational purposes.

  19. brian_schneider says:

I can totally understand giving a biased opinion as well but it seems like they just totally bash Tebow and I think that is uncalled for.

  20. baylinorcrush says:

No one is better or worse than anyone, we simply all are at different points in our lives doing different things in different places with all of us having plenty to learn. And we all must live with whatever we’re dealt, many are dealt real bad cards while many are dealt the opposite, doesn’t seem fair but in certain religions in Eastern parts of the world they explain it through reincarnation while in the Western world it’s just seen as dumb luck. Born blind, with a leg missing, with other handicaps, all those things are never understood by people who believe everyone has only one life, reincarnation beliefs say karma follows you from life to life, you get out of a new life what you put in the previous one and the goal is to eventually free yourself of having to keep coming back by reaching nirvana and entering into eternity. And since I’m not a big religion guy I like this way of looking at things which is more tangible to me than just going on faith that God knows better when he gives a little kid terminal cancer. Sorry for the diatribe.

  21. Broncownage says:

Not to be crude, but I think we can all agree that Hodge and Dilpher really bring out that first word in ANALysts – haha.. I just can’t get over how much hatred they have for him. Sure, everyone is entitled to their thoughts and concerns, but when venom starts flowing out, I think there’s something else at play..

  22. baylinorcrush says:

rbf1, as you know I thought we would draft Dareus, and if not one of the many good DTs who were available in the later rounds, when we did not I thought we were gonna get us some as soon as FA started, and that did not happen, then we finally brought in a couple with Bunkley and Warren, but point is Fox just doesn’t care for DTs. Hopefully it’s just like he didn’t care for Tebow to start with but came around, maybe he’ll do the same about DTs, but I won’t hold my breath, just going with what I’ve seen, no DT aspirations on this team, and the funny thing is all over again bloggers are saying we gotta draft a DT in the first round next year, LMAO, all over again!

  23. strandoftds says:

I hear ya Bro. In God everything that he does is good, never bad or to do harm. My friend, cancer is apart of life and God doesn`t give anyone anything that is bad. God is love, therefore I love people too. I guess thats why I hate it when others get full of pride. Ok, I`m done. Life is still good.

  24. strandoftds says:

The Broncos are still in dire need of a DT. Heck we still can`t stop the run for goodness sakes.

  25. strandoftds says:

When the season is over, and draft talk begins, I`m thinking CB, RB, DT or DE in the first round.

  26. baylinorcrush says:

Not one, but two new blogs all at once! There ought to be a blog coordinator, LOL.

  27. royalbroncofan1 says:

Thanks bay… you’re right it is funny, as I’ve been reading some blogs trying to stay up. Slim pickings out there right now for FA.

It’s going to be a big topic as you mentioned for the next draft.
    You were a year ahead…lol!
