Rahim Moore Rookie Blog

September 10th, 2011 - 1:51pm by Rahim Moore

Editor’s Note: This season, DenverBroncos.com will feature two player blogs. Along with Willis McGahee, Rahim Moore will check in with a new post every week. Below is his first entry of the season.

Hey fans, it’s Rahim. Don’t call me Rahim Moore. Call me Rahim the Dream. Or you can call me 2-6.

About me, I’m a Christian. I’m a prayer warrior — I put all my faith in God. I’m one of the most down-to-earth people in the world.

I’ll tell you a little inside secret. The other day, these two little girls at this store, they recognized me. They were big-time Broncos fans. I was buying shoes and they were looking at the shoes they wanted, and they said, “Aw, these shoes are too much.” So I went and bought the shoes for the little girls.

It’s all love. That’s pretty much it.

I’m looking forward to this Monday. I’m looking forward to being part of the history of the Broncos playing against the Raiders. Hopefully we go out there and give the fans what they deserve, which is a W. I tip my hat to the Raiders because they’re a great organization. They have a great running back and they’re a great team.

We’re looking forward to the challenge as a team. Let the games begin.

I think you’re right , you are on the wrong blog. Maybe you should pedal your sour grapes somewhere else.

    Off your meds again…

  3. RabidOrange says:

It’s great to have you on the team Mr. The Dream!!!

Seriously, I can’t wait to see all the picks I’m sure you’ll snag outta the sky. I am very excited about the D this year, and you are going to be an integral part of it. Listen to the vets, trust your instincts, and keep on clobberin’ the ones who get the ball before you! Semper Broncos!!

  4. hometeam007 says:

It’s cool to have input from all these newbies to the blog. I like it. It could be a foreshadow to the new Denver Broncos. A winning attitude a winning record. I still don’t understand why we didn’t grad another DT off waivers. Miami’s Frank Kearse for example http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/03/kearse_woes_nfl_scouts.html

  5. RabidOrange says:

Wow, I spend a day away from the computer and the blogs go CRAZY!!! Guess that’ll leave me some reading for this evening…

  6. baylinorcrush says:

Yeah, I like it too, we get new blood every year but these players blog are an instant hit with guys who wouldn’t otherwise blog, it seems obvious, I remember when bloggers really missed Doom having his own blog when he was a rookie I think, and we always wondered why they weren’t doing it again, maybe McD forbid it? Don’t know but it’s really nice to have that again, can’t wait to see what both McGahee and Moore will have to say after the Raider experience, a totally new thing for both.

  7. baylinorcrush says:

They were going for a blog record I think, like 7 in a day or something like that.

  8. baylinorcrush says:

5 today and 4 yesterday, definitely a record of some sort.

  9. hometeam007 says:

Yeah, I missed blogging with Doom too. I think he even responded to some of the posts. It’s neat getting the player’s perspective on things. Let’s see maybe we do just fine with Bunkley and Vickerson. I guess Unrien, a Colorado boy, will have his opportunity to show his stuff against the Raiders when they rotate him in.

Good stuff as long as we stop the run….

  10. Orange_Crusher says:

    DT Breaks his finger now….Wow…..!

He really is the man made of glass…..

  11. baylinorcrush says:

That’s why he wasn’t at practice yesterday then and Fox didn’t want to talk about it, could of told him he has a glass man on his hands, should of traded him already, said so long ago.

  12. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

Glad to have a class act like you in good ol’ Orange and Blue Rahim!

I’m sure you don’t need any blogger telling you how to play YOUR game brother, you made it this far on your own two! That being said if you need to feel the true mood of the fans look no further than this blog lol. Congrats on making the team, I’ll gladly be watching you do your thing man.

    Ya Boy

    48 hours and 20 minutes…. I can’t wait!

  14. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

So midnight tonight (according to blog time) is the deadline for the season predictions right bay?

  15. baylinorcrush says:

All I have to do is come up with a score….

  16. baylinorcrush says:

Yeah, blog time, don’t miss it like the draft, LOL.

  17. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

haha not this time my friend, wifey had me red in the face that day lol

  18. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

I was 0-4 anyway she was probably doing me a favor lol

  19. BroncosRmyReligion says:

Just keep delivering those crushing hits.

  20. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Wow…funny thing is i dont think Demaryius Thomas was that injury prone in College. I know he was injured when we drafted him but that was from pre-draft work outs when he broke his foot. But the man has been headed down hill ever since. Some people just have the worst luck.

Man I wish there was a game today … Thursday was too much of a teaser … then no football friday but there shoulda atleast been a saturday night game in my book … sigh im really itching for Football. Especially Broncos Football. TRB out…

  21. hometeam007 says:

can an organization really do so bad with 4 first round picks? Tebow truly is our last hope at making something out of the last 2 years. Ok, never mind. It is just a broken finger. Another 4 weeks and we are back in business. Gotta keep the faith right?
    AHHHH!!!!!!

  22. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Any other Organization with 4 1st round picks in 2 years would be considered blessed. 5 if u count the one traded away for a 2nd rounder … I mean seriously u cannot hit the lotto any better than that in 2 years … Granted they came on the backs of pro bowl losses but still talk about terrible aim. All misses. Thats why I will take proven pro bowl players of shot in the dark draft picks any day … last 2 years should tell u what u do with your key players. Guess we coulda drafted Dez or … crazy thought … not traded my boy BM … ahhh … water under the stinking bridge … very stinky bridge … the water too is stinky lol. TRB

  23. AVnCA says:

2-6… make it yours Rahim. I made an all D fantasy league this season. I drafted you Rahim, make me a genius. Oh yeah, welcome to the Broncos a.k.a. the good side.

  24. AVnCA says:

P.S. That was a great hit. I loved it.

  26. BeastFromEast92 says:

Rahim the Dream, glad you’re a Denver Bronco,I had you on my mock draft from the very beginning,I knew how much we needed a great Safety!

We haven’t had a good Headhunter in a long time,I don’t mean that in a bad way,we just need someone to lay the wood, let them know if they catch the ball, they will pay the price!!!

Hope you have a long healthy career as a Bronco,I bet you’re loving every minute of it,being side by side with Dawk, soak it in bro!!!

    BFE

  27. BeastFromEast92 says:

    Oh yeah…FTR!

  28. alexanserg says:

So d. thomas broke a finger now, huh? Been saying it for a while, but he looks like an injury bust.

Pity too, cause that guy is a beast when he can stay healthy. Maybe his luck will turn around. Sure hope so.

  29. zhaoyunfan says:

man some people just have sh*tty luck guy can’t catch a break wonder how long he will be out now

  30. daddybronc says:

I hope the Christians on the team know that there are a lot of folks out here praying that you young men will remain true to your faith in spite of the pressure.
Personally I’m sick of the great talents that get themselves into trouble and bring down their own organization along with professional sports in general. Stay faithful.

  31. zhaoyunfan says:

oh and rahim in case it has not been mentioned enough your hit was clean man you hit with shoulder not helmet and was a bang bang play could not slow down when you had already went for the tackle what do they want for you to allow the guy to make a catch first? f that good job man keep it up sucks about the fine though

  32. zhaoyunfan says:

man the worst thing about it being monday night is the extra day of wait lol gah i want to see some broncos football already :D

Anyway, since I’m taking the brunt of this thing from the orange kool aid drinking fans, here is the list of people who predited 6-10 like I did, so the blame can be shared, LMAO:

    Londonbronco30

    denver0723

Woody Paige

    IloveTebow-GoBroncos

Mustang

henryac

brian_schneider

timmah

raidrhadr

theotheredge

    rayjr26

baylinorcrush

As you can see, a mix bag and some vey educated people in there!

went stealth mode on that one lol

Anyway, good luck to all those who entered I really hope that the ‘Kool-Aid’ drinkers have it right on!

Shoot, I hope the 8-8 guys get it right lol.

Alright, back to the my friend the mix board, and another late night… Imagine a studio full of BFE’s that each have a microphone lol… It’s weird blogging in this atmosphere… I hope all your Broncos Country dreams are full of eternal Mile High Salutes while picking Hater helmet debris out of your cleats!

Ok, no reason to wait for the deadline, here is my 2011 season record prediction: 6-10

    Raiders W
    Cinci W
    at Tenn L
    at G-B L
    SD L
    at Miami W
    Detroit L
    at Oakland L
    at KC L
    Jets L
    at SD L
    at Minn W
    Chicago L
    N-E L
    at Buff W
    KC W

The way I see it is by the 11th game we are 3-8 and on a 0-5 losing streak so Tebow comes in to get some more maturation and finishes the season 3-2.

P.S. The Miami and Bears games are toss ups to me so it could as well of been a Miami loss and a Bear win, important thing is the end record though for this particular contest. And the Minnesota win is the one I went with my heart to make the record look better than had I gone with my brains’ 5-11.

  38. ron_broncos says:

Hey 2-6, great story! You made some girls happy and you’re right. It’s about the love. Good luck with the raiders. Have some friends that love the raiders and gave me smack all week. Wait for 2-6… it’s coming baby!

  39. stevecan2 says:

interesting, all the same predictions for me with the exception in Minn. Dome, facing AP… Close but I think we lose it in the end.

  40. OrangeandBlueForever says:

Welcome aboard “the Dream”, I for one am extremely excited to see your career take off with the Denver Broncos. I look forward to seeing this defence make huge stides this year and put some fear into apposing offenses.

  41. gobroncoswin says:

    whats up 2-6 !

you dont play like a rookie! and we love that about you.
go help get that first “W” for us !

  42. YungBronco says:

I’m sure you will have a great career here in Denver Rahim he Dream. You are very talented. The only concern i have is that here in Broncos Country we do not compliment the enemy. lol but othere than that, I am really looking forward to seeing you play and help us win.

  43. Tylefever says:

Can’t wait to see you get your first interception tomorrow night!! The Defense is going to be so good this year with Von and Doom running down the quarterbacks!!!!!

  44. DenverBroncosTX says:

We’re glad to have you, Rahim! I’m super excited to see what you, Dawkins and Bailey do this year. Keep reppin Christ through the way you perform on the field and carry yourself off the field. I’ll be cheering from England, though originally from Texas. Football has a different meaning out here, but no one can replace some good ole’ American Football. Good luck against the Raiders!

  45. gabeharter says:

Looks like we have B-Dawk II. Man of Christian faith and can still put a hit on. Keep it up! As Tebow says GB2 = God Bless and Go BRONCOS! Put some hits on the raider Rbs. Scare the run outta them.

  46. kearly37 says:

Lock & load Rahim! Can’t wait to see you and the rest of the D put some hurt on the Raiders tonight!

    GB2!

  47. broncofan9137 says:

Bay: Are you afraid that the nebies are going to take up some of your space. Just on this blog alone you have almost 25% of the blogs. If a nebie wants to blog once or twice maybe three times, thats up to him, its not up to you.

  48. GeorgeinABQ says:

    Hey Rahim,

Thanks for taking time to talk to the fans. I’m glad you are not afraid to acknowledge your faith and I think we have a secondary player and gentleman in you! The hit you made that got all the press was old school shoulder tackle. I didn’t see the big deal but you handled it gracefully! I’m really glad you are on our team and a big shout out from the Albuquerque NM contingency of Bronco fans! God Bless you and and protect your health and family.
