I’ll tell you what, last week was great. It’s funny, with those type of stats, you’d think it’s tough to win, but we did it. Our coaches, they’re working their butts off. The win was definitely a turning point for us and I’m blessed and happy for this team. I was just watching the offense and kept getting more and more excited.
For an opposing defense, It’s tough, man. Because nobody wants to get run on. I just thank God that the things we’ve been doing as a team have been working. I just pray to God that everything keeps going and we give Broncos Country this good football they deserve.
Now we’ve got Thursday Night Football, primetime, the only show in town. I’m excited. But when it’s all said and done, I want to share it amongst these guys, my teammates. I’m looking forward to the challenge, seeing our guys going out there and balling out.
It’s the third straight USC quarterback we’re about to play — first Carson Palmer, then Matt Cassel, now Mark Sanchez. Being a UCLA guy, it’s funny. But Mark Sanchez is probably one of the best quarterbacks I played against in college. He really motivated me for my first offseason because of the things he did to me when I was a freshman. So I’m looking forward to the challenge. That dude, he’s a competitor, and I’ll say it — he came from a great program. He’s cut from that cloth. So it’ll be fun out there tomorrow night.

2-6, glad you’re pumped for the game. I think that you and your fellow DB’s will get plenty of opportunities for picks in this game. We can’t wait to see the D come out and stuff the Jets repeatedly! Have fun, and shoot down those Jets!!! Semper Broncos!!
Defense forsure has to step up this game and help us out. Von Miller has been huge for us and once Elvis is back to his normal beast mode it will b fun to b a broncos fan.I just hope the offensive cordinator throws the ball a lil more then 10 times toorrow, especially that all of the throws were on the money besides one screen to the right that went straight in the grass but high hopes for this TEAM all around. Happy to b a BRONCOS FAN..
I like what Decker says about playing against Revis. “To be the best, you have to go against the best.” It shows his ambition, for sure.
I’ll agree that Revis is the best just as soon as he matches Champ’s Pro Bowls. lol. Anyway, Decker and our whole receiving corps get to face Champ daily, and I can’t see that hurting their game, at all.
Rahim keep on working on your skills and with enough determination you might get back to starter status, but a long ways to go for a rookie with a shortened off season, I feel for you, hang in there.
I like how you’ve done your homework and call us Bronco Country instead of Nation like so many make that mistake and even so you played in California, land of Raider Nation, you got it straight, things like that don’t go unnoticed.
Well, ladies and gents, last chance for your score prediction until midnight tonight blog time, the clock is fixed now Royalty!
bay and Rahim I hope yall are getting better and healing quickly. I’m sorry I’m late but I’ve been busy preparing for my lil Bronco to arrive.
Hey Bay, have u made your prediction yet?
Bay – predicted a 13- 9 Bronco victory. If that’s what happens – I’ll take it….but Bay!? that’s counting on Prater for 2 – what gives?
I gotta go play softball – all this waiting is killing me! haha…and it’s a short week.
He’ll be 2 for 4, haha.
By the end of the season, Prater will have the worst FG% in the league. Then, in the last game, which will decide whether we go to the playoffs, he’ll drill a 70 yarder in OT and be the talk of the town! LOL
Actually, I’ll bet Fox is wishing he’d kept Hauschka right about now.
A wise woman once told me “never quit dreaming”…
I like to dream about what could be, and what might be, to make a vision of what is ahead with good hopes and great expectations….
When a dream becomes a focus, a passion, a desire, and most of all a vision into the possible future….
To have faith that the dreams of today can easily become the reality of tomorrow if one should chose to never quit believing and working hard to make it real….
When 53 warriors chose to believe in the same dream together, well, the Super Bowl would be the only limit…..
MAKE IT REAL BRONCOS!!!!!! KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE!!!!!
TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT BRONCOS!!!!!!
BRONCOS 31
JETS 23
!!!ILMSDB!!!!
Bay,
Since Revis is supposedly going to be covering Decker like stink on poo, I wonder it ‘your boy Willis’ will be thrown in there a little more to mix things up. LOL! I haven’t seen enough of him to know how good of a rout runner he is.
BTW- Nice post OC!
That would be nice, I can always hope, seen him do real well in many pre season games, fast, long threat, good hands, but not a good match up for all that against the Jets, the short passing game would make more sense, but then again we’ll probably stick to the run anyway.
Keep doing what you doing 2-6 … im sure Gods got great plans for you. Hope to see more of you out there.
Revis …. Ha! … I can show you a highlight from last year where Bay Bay beat him for the TD … he is no champ.
TRB
Looking forward to cheering our Broncos on tomorrow evening!!
All Tebow does is find a way to win! That’s all that matters!
Broncos – 26
Jets – 17
I see a big D battle, incredible I can even say that since last season we were 31st in the league on D. Truly inspirational to get back to having a D again, can remain in every single game, and just one big throw away for Tebow to knock the other team out, pretty satisfying. Sanchez will be in for the longest night he’s been in this season, he is going to get sacked and pressured all night, sweet indeed, Von Doom & Co. is going to rock the house and all we’ll have to do on O is not turn it over and our running game should be just enough to win it by less than a TD in a real low score.
I was just hoping that maybe McCoy might throw a turd in the Jets’ punchbowl and come out throwing. HA HA! Maybe that’s what Ryan is thinking we might try to do, though. I have no freaking idea. Does anyone? We still need to pound the rock if we can; however, I would only imagine there will be many more throwing plays tomorrow night. Eight wont be hard to beat.
And the Broncos will win it in a high score or the Jets will pull out a tight win and I’ll remain with 5 points in the contest, at least no shot for a WOS with my pick, haha. WOS candidates so far, Carnage with a 14 point Jets win and daddy and arch both with a 15 point Bronco win, nervous yet? LOL.
And there is a huge belief in the Broncos once again, only 7 bloggers have the Jets winning while a staggering 52 have us win! A great participation # in such a short week by the way.
We’re the #2 rushing offense in the entire freaking N-F-L!!!!!!!!
Who wouldn’t have jumped for joy tenfold last offseason if they knew we would leap to #2 in rushing this year???
I guess rushing the football down the opposing teams throat is Unconventional Deliverance into the Football future!!!!
I love going back to the future with Elway and Fox!!!!!!!
ILMSDB!!!!
We had no D and couldn’t run the ball just last year, enough said!
I’m still jumping tenfold after last Sunday!
This game is going to hinge on field position and a big play in either the special teams or defensive area. Like a pick 6 or fumble in the red zone. I’m very pumped for tomorrow.
I’m tired of Skip Bayless bashing our wideouts. He says Eric Decker’s name as if it’s a punchline. The kid is playing his tail off this year. Hopefully Royal, Decker, and Thomas take it as a challenge and shut Bayless up about “Tebow does this and that with no weapons”
Biggest pickups this offseason:
McGahee on offense
Von Miller but a close second with Bunkley on defense
HUGE impact in our rush defense that has gone relatively unnoticed this year. Great job stealing him away from Cleveland in that trade between the Browns and Eagles.
That isn’t meant to be a comparison, considering we didn’t make many offseason moves. It is just interesting to see that our MVP’s on both sides of the ball were not with us last year.
I have one question, though:
Why is Orton still a Captain when he’s not a starter?
Can I just Mirror what baylinorcrush said earlier: good to recognise when the players say Bronco’s COUNTRY. NOT NATION!!!!! Heh. I’ve tweeted that many a time…Thanks Rahim.
Yea that is odd. I know when he got demoted Fox said the guys in the locker room really respect him and all of that. It’s just a title, Tebow and McGahee have taken over the leadership roles on the offense
Not a division game, and both teams coming off a short week, and yet, why do I think that this will be a game which will exert its own logic over the players’ emotions, and that both teams will defy logic, and knock themselves out in battle? The New York Jets are not a franchise which immediately comes to mind, when one thinks, “storied franchise”…but as an organization, their story is interesting on many levels — including simply as an organization, and the history of their ownership. As a team, they enjoy the notoriety of four or five “rivalries” — not just the current one with the New England Patriots. They have about half a dozen games or pivotal plays which are part of Football Lore, and are known by simple handles, or a few words — “the Heidi Game”….”the Faked Spike”….and others. As a player, you monitor your physical condition carefully, and continuously gauge the abuse and punishment it is subject to. As a player, you realize that you need to keep the importance of this game in check — it is not a game to sacrifice your body over, and you might hope to simply be able to look forward and enjoy the privilege of playing in a great game, in a great venue. I suspect that the players will step on the field, begin to play, and that they will begin to find themselves engaged in furious combat. Not because the fans want or ask for it, and not because the success of their season or career will be decided by it — but because the game will become its own entity, a thing unto itself, and draw both teams into knock-down combat.
I agree. Timmy can be intense as we all have seen. Willis? love that guy as well. Both don’t talk the talk… They walk it. I hope WM will be there running the rock tomorrow!
Go Broncos!
2-6..we are playing against a USC QB for the 3rd week in a row the Defense knocked the first 2 out of the game, hows about we go 3 for 3!!!
Hang in there kid,you will be a Starter!!!!!!!!!!
Or run it! LOL!
Against the Jets D, we are going to need to run. They are MUCH better against the pass with “Revis Island”. I too am hoping that we begin to see some WR screens and a few more bombs over the top off play action. At least a few play actions wtih a short throw over the middle to the back. We shall see.
mr 88 will be big tomorrow watch
Den 24 jets 23
or mr thomas
can someone tell me if mcgahee is playing. hope he does. he is also on my fantasy team.
I feel like Revis is just going to stay on one side of the field rather than shadow Decker all day. Maybe I’m wrong, I haven’t read anything suggesting he’s going to be on Decker.
Before I forget:
27-13 Broncos W!
broncos win 34-13
*Official Score Prediction*
22-16 Broncos
-Royalty
I can’t wait for the game tomorrow night, when Tebow completes some passes,so NFL Network and the nay sayers will quit ragging him for only throwing 8 passes………….so sick of hearing about it!!!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fox is going to continue to run, run, run until someone can stop it. You can bet your bottom dollar on that.
And personally I’m loving it, looks like the Broncos of old… then if someone does slow it down — I WISH that they would overlook Tebow, the kid CAN pass, unbelievable to some as it might be.
I’m looking for bay’s boy to have a breakout game…
I can’t wait to hear what Rex Ryan has to say after he plans for the run, practices for the run, and gets run over by the run!
And BTW what a perfect post for OC to put up his “Dream” post right? Right here on Rahim “The Dream” Moore’s blog.
-Royalty
That’s what I always loved about the Broncos, teams would prepare for the run KNEW it was coming and still we will it on em! RELENTLESSLY!!!
Amen to that, Royalty!!
