I have to agree with TSG. I think Kircus is a bubble guy. Too, I think that the Broncos are going to keep at least 5, if not 6 WR's, for at least 3 reasons: 1) Jay Cutler. I think if he keeps playing well and improving, he's going to get to play more pitch-and-catch in games, which means they'll likely need a 5th or 6th WR, especially if Heimerdinger goes into multiple receiver sets. 2) Rod Smith. Rod has been hurt/recovering all off-season and isn't likely going to be in football shape for a while. Plus, at his age, coming off an injury like that, his potential for getting hurt is exponentially higher than a younger guy. So, again, they'll need an extra WR in the fold. 3) Brandon Marshall. He missed most all of the OTA's and in his, what, second day back, he hurts his quadricep? They'll need an extra WR if this becomes a pattern. My picks: Smith, Walker, Stokley, Marshall, and...? Geez, it could be any of them. They all have something about them that makes me think they could significantly contribute. I do like that Glenn Martinez kid, he looks like one of those ever-popular big-framed, sizey receivers that have come up big in the last few years. And I can't go with Hixon until he acutally plays and shows that he can. But, let's find out who the last one or two will be.

and don't forget Stokley...

But David has had an impressive offseason and was good in a pinch last year. I'd love to see him stick, but you're right -- it's crowded.

To me Kircus is on the bubble, and it has nothing to do with the off-field stuff. If, and it is a big IF, the Broncos receiver situation works out they way we think and hope, Walker, Smith, Marshall will be the top 3 and Hixon will be the return guy/4th receiver.

With Morgan also having return experience I just think Kircus is the odd man out....The TE situation will also go a long way to determining the WR sitaution. If Scheffler can't come back right away and the Broncos are forced to keep an extra TE that spot will probably come from the receiving corp...

David Kircus will be on the team. After he passed the lie detector test for Mike Shanahan, regarding who started the fight he was arrested for, Shanahan announced he would be on the team regardless of his pending charges/trial.

I would look for him to make the final cut this year again. He was solid last year, and looks good this year.
