Well, the 10-minute viewing period has come and gone, and the team now goes through its workouts behind closed gates while we await their opening in time for post-practice interviews.
A few notable items:
… That, of course, is the decal on the back of each helmet to memorialize cornerback Darrent Williams and running back Damien Nash. It was placed on every player’s helmet that I could see …
… Rookies Jarvis Moss and Tim Crowder were second in line on the outside at defensive end in warmups; Marcus Thomas was third in line at tackle in his new No. 77 jersey …
… The pre-calisthenic breakdown, handled for the last few years by middle linebacker Al Wilson, was chaired by the man who is expected to be his successor in the middle, fourth-year veteran D.J. Williams. He handed the spotlight to first-round pick Jarvis Moss, whose jig was met with jeers, causing Williams to turn to wideout David Kircus, whose gyrations found more mass approval among his teammates …
… Safety Steve Cargile warmed up with the linebackers. In an earlier entry today, he discussed Jim Bates’ plan to give him some work at weakside linebacker during the OTAs …
… Here are a few more photos:

More to come later today …

Thanks, Andrew.
Good to see the decal. I wonder what the plans with that are longterm. I’m hoping for all season.
I know better to hope for longer than that though… just not likely.
Nice Stuff Andrew,
The decal is a good way to pay resprct to both players.
Good to see the team back on the field again!
Keep the pics and info coming

i wish they had two separate decals, put them on both side of the helmets instead of one squished in together. oh well
Thanks for the pics! As an out-of-towner, I look forward to the reporting you and others do throughout the offseason
Great work Andrew and I really hope they wear those numbers on their helmet next year. You do a great job.
Thanks for the pics. Just seeing those makes me me hungry for the season to start already. I also hope they keep the decal for the season or maybe even wear a patch on their jerseys. Awesome!

Andrew,
Thanks for the great work. Awesome pics. I can’t wait for this season to start.
Thanks for the kind words, y’all … I feel like we’re just getting the appetizer here with what we saw today. We get these 10-minute glimpses for the next two weeks … then a main course after Memorial Day. But for now, we’ll keep snapping away, keep rolling the tape and bring you all we can.
Great work Andrew. Being on the east coast it’s hard to get Bronco info so your Blogs make my day.
Man I love the high quality pictures. It was awesome to see Graham and Henry already on the field, they both look focused. Cutler, man the guy really impresses me because he seems like such a hard worker.
Last year you did a great job of posting video’s superfast on the boards. I hope you continue to do that. The highlights rocked! We want more, give us more!!!
great stuff thanks AM!
Andrew, tks for the pics. Can you share your first impression on any new players that caught your eye. Great work tks again.
oc60, it’s hard for me to judge … all those pictures came from the 10-minute warmup-and-calisthenics session, which is the only part of the OTA sessions for this week and next that are open to the media. I’ll have a better look at the players after taking in the OTA sessions that are open for coverage after Memorial Day and will be able to share some observations then.
Actually, here’s the text I wrote for a page on the main site that will serve as a “storehouse” of links to all the content we produce over the next few weeks:
EDITOR’S NOTE: EDITOR’S NOTE: Only the first 10 minutes of the practice are open to the media and cameras — both still and video. Therefore, the video and photos from the next two weeks will be of the pre-practice warmup and calisthenic periods.
I liked the picture of Jarvis Moss and D.J. Good to know there are some light-headed Broncos on the team!
[...] AndrewMason’s Blog entry with lots of pictures from camp [...]
I like the pics, they get me that much more exciting the season is getting closer. Glad to see the Javon pic as well as the new Broncos. The best picture is the decals 27 & 29 on the helmet.
