Apparently some "experts" are thinking the Broncos might pick Devin Thomas WR Mich.St. in the 1st. What would you guys think about that?

P.S. BroncoBoy, check Andrew Mason's last entry above (way at the top of this). He seems to think the Broncos have two picks in the 7th. Cool, huh?

Doubt if Branden Albert will be available in the 2nd (#42). Broncos don't have a 3rd and Tashard Choice will be gone by then. Either of those would be way cool, though, and I agree w/Chris Williams. Denver could probably get DTs Trevor Laws, ND in the 2nd and Frank Okam, Texas in the 5th (#140). A pretty good MLB who might be there in the 6th (#177) is Ben Moffitt, SFla. Don't forget about a FB. Broncos don't have a real one, although they do use Graham as an H-back. Several good FBs will be available in the later rounds when the Broncos have a lot of picks. Owen Schmitt might still be there at #130. I guess the Broncos might draft a kicker and/or a punter. An interesting WR who might be there in the 4th is Dexter Jackson from App.St. If you think another OL is needed, Jeremy Zuttah, Rutgers might be there at #115. He is very strong, fast and versatile and can play any OL spot like Shanahan says Chris Kuper can. BroncoBoy2012 has a different approach calling for trading down and acquiring a 3rd (Cowboys?). Check way up above for his scenario and mine, too, in what is becoming a very long series of entries. BroncoBoy, your approach is viable and you have identified some good players (Cousins, Balmer, Hills, etc.). I wonder how long this blog will last?

I think this is a good move trading myers because i think we will start ryan harris next year at right tackle and i think we are going after chris williams and in the second round if you keep your fingers crossed brandon albert might still be around so you fill three positions. There are three good kickers in the draft and as much as i hate for denver having to waste a draft pick on a kicker it could work. Hopefully we go after Dechard choice he looks like a smart player who reminds me alot of terrel davis. Travis Henry needs to be released or traded he is an injury prone player who is productive when healthy but when will that be. A speed WR would really help cutler and a run stuffing DT and MLB and denver is a threat in the west this year. AND HELL NO SHANNAHAN DONT SIGN ORLINDO MARE.

Couple of things I noticed is that Myers wasnt exactly trade. He was a restricted FA and denver didnt mach Houstons offer. Plus Elam went home to Atlanta, this is were he is from. I dont think Shanny had much to do with that. He is a hall of famer (fingurs crossed) but if he wants to go home that ant Shannies fault.
Denver needs a big DT to push the line and someone to compete at ML, other then that we need another WR and a back that can carry the load. The ones we got will rotate through because they will be hurt every other game. They dont need to draft someone to be instant seccuss they need good decent players that will be around for years to come.

So the Broncos are bringing in Olindo Mare to take Elams place. What a perfect choice. He was so bad the last two years he played that he was cut in the midst of the secopnd year. But, don't worry. He's also trying out for the Seahawks. How about bringing in someone who actually played last year and played fairly well, not someone who's been out of the game for a year or two?

is "plast" even a word?
and anyway wouldn't ROB Bironas want more money than Jason Elam? He has broken the record for FGs in a game so he probably feels extra special, but that just shows how much the titans suck. and another thing, can he tackle????????? maybe then he could kickoff instead of someone else. maybe the broncos should have gotten Josh Brown. he can tackle. he owned Devin Hester.

the reason we probably are to cheap to get Elam back is that he is a 15 year vet....were not going to pay somebody that money!!!! i do agree with the other guy t that said we should get baronis.....he is young and has a great leg...in denver he could plast that ball out of the endzone and would be money from anything over 55 till what 70 the dude has a great leg...better than elams ever was....plus if we do invest in ROB he could be in place for the next 12 years or so...thats why u invest in rob and not in jason...what are u smokin
