Broncosfandeigo... We all know what the best hit of all time is... When a player can be defined by a nickname ("The Smiling Assassin") and a single hit ("Assassin" vs. "The Nigerian Nightmare"), how can that not be the best ever?!? The hit Lynch put on Dante Hall, Al Wilson hitting the Charger's Jesse Chapman, etc... all big hits in Denver History. None bigger, though, than Atwater's. Injuries suck, yeah, but again, we're not the only club like this. How often does T.O. sit out and he's the premier player in big D? We wlii be good come reg sea. We have 1 month! Can't believe that it's so close!

I feel sick about the whole thing. I hope if it is bad it isn't too bad. Maybe he will miss a few weeks and that is all. Why at DE where we need his speed.

I'm afraid we don't free up any money by moving him to IR if it comes to that (except maybe bonus clauses he doesn't reach). The only way you save money moving a player to IR is if you cut them, they clear waivers, and then you sign them and put on IR. Hopefully it's nothing to serious, get well soon Jarvis!

Injuries, Injuries, I hate Injuries. I hope that Moss is not done for the season. We really need his pass rush. However by the way he went down it seems to be a torn ligament. If that is the case and I really hope it isn't, the cap money freed up by his move to the IR my be well spent adding a veteran like Simeion Rice to the roster. Lets keep this train a-moving.

#27HitsOkoye, love the username man! I about lost my mind when Mark Jackson did top 25 hits of all time for EPSN last year and the greatest hit ever, Atwater laying Okoye out on Monday night didn't even make the list.... I know they have to go through a zillion hours of tape to find all of those, but Jackson is a Bronco, how could he not have remembered that?!!

Lets hope Moss just twisted the knee, because if he tore his ACL and is out for the year, it doesn't really matter who steps in and how well they play, losing the number one draft pick and large investment always comes back to haunt you!

You have to expect injuries to happen when your preparing to play for the NFL. Its part of the business. Sure it seems like all our blue chips are getting hurt but so far nothing has been too serious. You got to go all out in practices if your trying to make this roster. There is a LOT of compitition this year and you best be giving it 200%.

Though the injuries are frustrating because it's our team that's getting hurt, all teams are suffering the same type of injuries. As long as proper hydration and stretching is practiced and the coaching staff is not placing the players in harm's way, these small injuries will melt away as the players get used to pads and the heat.
