Merry Christmas, everybody.
I’ve been having a pretty great holiday. Christmas Eve was great. I opened my presents at 12:00 last night, because my mom had mailed some out. She was in Texas for Christmas, so we had some presents last night. At least I waited until it was officially Christmas, so I can’t get in trouble with the family for opening early. I opened a few more this morning, too, though. We had a big dinner last night, too. Ate a couple of things — turkey, ham, everything.
As far as the rest of the day is going to go, I’m just kind of going to bounce around, see a couple friends. I’ve got a couple dinner invites, so I’ll just relax and just go with the flow.
I’m looking forward to watching the matchup with the Chargers this weekend. It’s going to be a great game, you know what I’m saying, because getting a win means we’re in. And you know because we got the win earlier in the year they’re going to come with a chip on their shoulder. It’s a do-or-die big game right here for us to go to the playoffs. Everybody’s just got to make big plays and have fun doing it.
For those of you that are going to want a predicition, I can’t call it. We’ve just got to be ready to play.
Someone asked last week if I’m going to keep writing the blog next season. The answer is sadly no — this was my rookie blog, and I’m sure I’ll pass the torch onto another first-year guy next season. I think we’ll wrap things up with the blog next week, kind of close out my first regular season in the NFL. So I’ll talk to you all next week, but let me say in advance that I really appreciate all of you that stuck with me through the whole season and read the blog.
See you next week.

Really enjoyed reading the blog this year. It’s too bad you got hit with the injuries this year. I know you’ll be working hard and will be reading to light it up next year!!
Hey Ryan… Merry Christmas! Glad to hear you’ve had a great Christmas and had fun opening your presents.
Can’t wait for this game on Sunday… I’ve said it a million times by now and I’ll say it again, I am so excited to see these 2 teams clash. Week 2 was nothing when its compared to the intesity that will be this Sunday Night’s game. Its going to be absolute chaos, insanity and an absolute riot to watch… make us proud Orange & Blue!!! I really really hope Cutler takes the reigns on this one and just shows what kind of classy leader he is to this team and that we are worthy of the AFC West title and a playoff berth.
And I’m sad to hear that Ryan won’t be doing the blog next season but just know we are all with you!! Get strong and healthy for next season, I for one am already so excited to see the ATV rolling all over every defense we go up against. This Bronco lovin’ girl can’t wait to see what you can do next season… stay positive.
Make this an extra special Christmas with a win boys!! Go get ‘em!!
Have faith…
GO BRONCOS!!!!!
just heard that chargers are talking even more crap. lets beat these fools.
btw merry christmas lol
The Chargers always talk their crap but the Broncos will get them because they’re the better team and whether or not screwy calls occur Denver will come off conqueror. GO BRONCOS!!!
Hey Train,
I just want to thank you for writing this blog. It’s great to always see a player’s perspective in a professional sport like this. Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Now, about that Broncos vs. Chargers game… man, these guys on NFL Network (AFC Playbook) were basically calling the game ahead of time, saying the Chargers win. Sterling Sharpe was predicting that Sproles was going to “KILL” our Broncos. There was no coverage on what the Broncos have, except, when they had to say something on the ‘Cold Hard Facts’ portion.
I know it was just a prediction. It’s just the fact that they hardly gave any keys to win for the Broncos. So I hope your guys go out there and discharge those Chargers! GO BRONCOS!!!!

Sorry to hear that you will no longer be blogging with us, but hey, maybe your grandma will let you use her broncocountry screen name and then you can post on here with us. Give the blog writers a hard time or something! That would be funny man!
Anyway CB123 I have to say that the underdog is often overlooked by teams that are over confident. Right now we are an underdog due to the momentum that they have gained the last 2 games. PLUS they are over confident also due to the momentum they gained and they bask in seeing our 2 game skid! But as for our keys to the win, just think the opposite of what they said the keys to the win were for them. If we stop their keys to win, then we stop their win!
It’s time to shut the window Broncos, we shut and locked the door 3 games ago. Don’t let them sneak in the window that our injurie bug left open!
Hold onto the ball offense!
Maintain your gaps defense!
Keep the faith fans!
And ATV, let’s put a turbo on, and ride you to a Super Bowl the way we did Terrell Davis!
Merry Christmas!
I look forward to watching you have a BIG season next year! You and Hillis!
Go Broncos!!!
What?? You’re not going to blog next season? This is awful news. Yours was way more entertaining than Dumervil’s. Last nite was heart breaking. That is not the way anyone in Broncos Country wanted to go out. I hope you had an amazing Christmas!! Happy New Year!!
Tell coach to draft Curry, whatever it takes.
Work hard !!
