Oh yeah...I forgot to mention. Those 4 1500+ yd seasons came in a balanced offense, and probably threw more in his first two years...it wasn't like they gave him the ball on every play...

It's good to see Omon's name mentioned (don't worry about misspelling it...everyone outside of Missouri/Kansas does). If the Broncos are looking for a late round steal, I hope they are looking hard at X. A one cut and go type runner, he is one of two players to ever run for 1500+ yds in 4 seasons in college, and while his two main knocks are the level of competition and his lack of breakaway speed, I can address those for you. He's coming from one of the best conferences in Division II (the same conference that a guy named Rod Smith played in), and he's got a good second gear--in the National semifinals against Grand Valley State (David Kircus's alma mater), X had a 98 yard run where he outran two All-american DB's on the play. He's got good size, and can hang clean over 400 lbs....not bad for a RB...

Great video on Dexter Jackson, a guy that could help the return game and be a number four. The guy from Appalachian that you really need to check out is safety Cory Lynch (yup, #47) and there's video of him in the same youtube menu as Jackson. That guy's a playmaker...

Bell looks like the type of player (character wise) that the team should be investing in. Another one that I like is Dizon from CU. I have not found anything else about Vilma except he is only 25 and has been fairly durable until last year. I my opinion it stinks of good player/bad fit. He is a 4-3 mlb. Not an ilb in a 3-4.

As for Bennett, it would be great to have a talented WR that is already familiar with Cutler. Right now most mocks have him going 2nd/3rd round. With all of the Broncs needs they may not want to invest such a high pick if they think they can get another value pick in the later rounds a-la Marshal.

Thanks for the reply about Bell. It really is a shame how bad UNLV has been, because Bell has put up great numbers (again, when healthy). More importantly, coaches and people associated with the school all love him. They say just what Mr. Mason said. Bell is extremely coachable and has that obvious love for the game and the passion to be great, and he is a high-character guy.

As for Vilma, I have always liked him, but I worry about yet another older player with a history of injuries. There were rumors that his injury was not as severe as the J E T S were making it out to be. Did anyone hear what became of that rumor?

Anyone think Steve Young or Steve Burline can run the offense better than Rick Dennison? Young raves about Shanny every chance he get's.Just my opnion but i think it would be a no brainer.

i like the selection of beau Bell if we cant get somebody more seasoned....bell is a monster....anyways...nobody wants javon walker for a star..nobody...to many knee problems....so everybody quit wishing for sumthin big to come from that...im still waiting for him to be #1 quality at a 2 spot or vise versa with marshall...we need to keep that unit togeather maybe just add a serious deep threat that cutler trusts...Basicly we just need to shore up the run game, everything will fall into place then...all the big free agents are being franchised so if they dont sign this year next years Defensive market will be huge...anyways...we are still a young team and prior to the past 20 years that hasnt been the case at least on winning teams...so keep the faith that these young broncos giving the chance and time will be as good as all the past legends..
go broncos!! go cutler!! RIP DWILL
