Well the weekend is done and the Rockies World Series adventure came to a close--without the anticipated win or sweep we all hoped for! I must say I am proud of our Colorado Rockies--they nearly swept their way to the World Series and made it look easy, and that is a great baseball team--regardless of that ultimate loss.

Our team is gearing up for Monday night football tonight, and I have to say, I can't think of a better way to start my week. I hope everyone is ready for some football!

Thank you for your comments about our last game and the recognition of two very special women.
Having Damien's wife and Mrs. Williams in attendance at the last game was very special for our entire organization--and reminded us of the lives we lost this past year that meant so much to so many. I am glad many of you were able to take part in that honoring.

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!

Go Broncos!

I was proud of the Steelers for embracing Mrs. Williams and Damien's wife, at the coin toss. Very respectful. Those little women hugged by those big men! Showed class! D'Will and Damien will always be with the Bronco's in spirit. The impression that was left is everlasting! God Bless the Bronco's for respecting what those boys left behind!

Thanks for applauding the fan support at Broncos games. Even though I've only attended one Broncos game live in my life, every week the Broncos game is a staple of my life in the fall. As far as Halloween costumes are concerned, being a nuclear physicist might be a good idea. It seems that many of James Bond's girlfriends were nuclear physicists so that might be a good idea. In any case, let's formulate a Broncos victory against the Pack this Monday!

Hey Keela...

Big win for our Broncos!!! It was a relief after the drudging against the Chargers. I was actually at that Chargers game. I live in Wichita, KS, but I drove out to Denver for the Rockies clincher against Philadelphia. Thankfully (or unthankfully..since the game was bad), the Broncos were in town as well. I actually got a picture with you in the Broncos Barn. I will admit that I am a shy guy without much women experience, so buddies of mine were quite impressed that I had a picture with a Broncos cheerleader. Anyway, you all always do a great job for the Broncos. The football team may struggle, but we have the best cheerleaders in the NFL...bar none!!! Anyway, keep up with the good work on the blog.

Hey Keela,

What a great game with the Steelers. I was really touched by the pre-game where Darrent Williams' mom and Damien Nash's wife came out for the coin toss. It was great to see our players and also the Steelers' captains being so supportive. Then we saw a great game and we won. As always, you and your teammates helped keep all of us fired up. And we got to see the touchdown dance four times - so does it get any better than that? Only if we put five touchdowns up on somebody.

So about that Halloween costume, I'm not sure I've got any really great ideas but I know you love Bronco gear - so that might be a start. Something patterned after a home Bronco uniform? Face paint? Well, it seems almost too bad to paint such a perfect face, but OK - just for one night - half orange, half blue? And my Halloween story - it's a little before your time, but our son did his first trick or treating at age 20 months in the 1977 season (our first Super Bowl season) dressed up like a Bronco (an orange shirt in those days). Lots of fun - for him, his parents and the neighbors.

Big weekend coming up with the World Series here and Monday Night Football. We'll be looking forward to all of the fun.
