Last Sunday was my first taste in seeing a great offense like this. That’s no slight against all the offenses we’ve played against – the Packers are just a great team. They are the defending Super Bowl champions. The thing about this week is that I learned some things that I need to improve on and I also see some things that I did better at.
One thing is I grabbed my first interception. But you know what? I wasn’t happy – I didn’t even smile, because I know that there were some other opportunities I left out there on the field, and that is my fault. And I wasn’t happy because when you’re losing, you shouldn’t crack a smile at all. So after that thing happened, I just brushed it off. I really didn’t care, because I wanted to win the game. Green Bay played a great game and we learned from our mistakes.
As a team, we watched film Monday, we’ve seen our mistakes and now we’re going to capitalize on that and get better for this upcoming week.
To the fans, keep believing in us like you always do. We’re going to turn this around. We’re not going to make excuses for our fans, but I just want to tell you all that we’re going to stay focused, we’re going to keep fighting and you’re going to see a different performance from us this week.
Of course, the Chargers are another great team. Philip Rivers is a great quarterback and they have great weapons on offense and defense, so it’ll be another tough challenge for us and it’ll be a good game.

There is no quit in John Elway. Anyone who watched him play knows what a fierce competitor he was on the field. He doesn’t know how to throw a game to try and get a draft pick. Maybe you youngsters ought to watch some of the old Broncos games when Elway was under center. He’s going to try to win no matter what, that’s all he knows how to do. Orangpride, have you been watching the same games … the same games plagued with turnovers and dumb offensive penalties from the offense. If anyone is losing it for this team its the offense. But they both share the blame … the D shouldn’t give that much points up … but the Offense should turn the ball over and leave the D on the field over and over again … so tell me what came first … the chicken or the egg? Does great Coverage make the pass rush work, or does Pass rush make the secondary great. Its a combination that must work in unison. One thing is clear tho … pick 6 … and 2 other interceptions from Orton on sunday … along with a bunch of under throws … anyone who ignores that fact clearly just believes Orton can do no wrong and everyone is on his case for no reason.

Iconic even though luck sounds like a great qb, i dont think we suck enough for luck. vikings and dolphins have a better chance to get him. even the colts have a chance, and some have said but they have peyton exactly why they would because they need to draft a qb behind manning. so dont think we get him unless we trade the farm for him.
no way in heck any fan should cheer against their team to “suck for Luck”. Andrew Luck hasn’t thrown a pass in the NFL, and Tebow is more decorated than Luck is right now. I’m not on the “Mile High Messiah” wagon or anything, but Tebow was brought here, and he has a great work ethic and will power to win. I think he should get a fair chance before we start asking for Luck. It would be a shame to see Tebow get a chance somewhere else and succeed with the John & John show shoving him out without consideration. I also think Orton is overrated and has hit his ceiling, which is just good enough to lose. I don’t think he’s clutch, that’s my major issue with him, he’s had 3 years here to show otherwise, all he’s done is put up great playing from behind numbers. No, it is not all his fault, the defense does need to play better. Our biggest problem is not admitting that we’re rebuilding after the destruction that McDaniels brought here. I know what Orton can do, I would like to see another QB under center to see what he can do, if only to know what we should go for in the draft (besides a defensive line and secondary, oh..and running back). We need to get younger and more talented as quickly as possible, and build some depth as well, so when we’re struck by injuries we become a NCAA caliber team. Orton, you’re not bad, but you’re just not good enough to carry a team, maybe Quinn or Tebow can, but we won’t know until we’re 1-4 or worse. Unless John pulls a Josh and says “We’re still not out of it, we can still win.” How about swallowing pride when the season is lost and give players that are supposed to be the future play time so you can evaluate them. I’m not saying this season is lost, it’s only just begun, but when we’re up to 6 losses with half as many wins…it’s a sign for change.
with the rant out of the way, Von Miller and Rahim Moore are looking good. I think these guys will be the anchor for the second coming of the Orange Crush.
