		<description>We used to do a similar drill in track and field for throwing the shot and discus, except a lot of times we did it up a short slope of about 60&#039;. It really does help lower body strength, and just as important, your &quot;explosion&quot;, your ability to make that intial move more quickly and powerfully. We also would set up a series of high hurdles and bound over them to work on quick recovery and exploding into the next step. Good idea to use it but 10 yards seems way to short a distance for training for football, maybe up and down the length of the field would be better.</description>
