Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
Haven’t talked to you all in a while, glad to get this blog back up and running.
As a running back the past few weeks, it’s been great. I’m happy for everyone in that room, because the way everyone is playing, everybody gets to touch the ball now. That’s keeping all the backs fresh and not wearing us out.
I’m feeling good right now. Can’t complain. I’m just happy to be out here working.
We had about 10 days off after that short week last week, so it’s almost like another bye week. We were still here working, but without too much contact early on so we had a chance to take care of our bodies.
This win streak, in a word, has been fun. Everybody’s got smiles in the locker room.
We know this week we’re expecting the Chargers to play us hard and try to take us off this win streak. But our job is to go in there, stay focused and only worry about the task in front of us.
Looking forward to Sunday. It’s going to be a good challenge.

Congratulations on the big C McG! One of the worst moments of my sportys watching career was watching you get hurt in college and thinking you may never be able to shred defenses! I’ve always been a huge fan, and I can’t tell you how excited I was to hear you had signed with us!

Thats a good point B_T. I remember watching that game — I never really was a college ball fan but was awed the whole game by McGahee… Then I saw the hit and thought ouch man there goes his NFL future — I truly felt bad. They kept showing replays of it; his foot was planted and a helmet just nailed his knee…. right on it, hyper-extending it as well as tearing ligaments. I knew he was NFL ready and thought it was over.
I was happily surprised and thought ‘good for him’ when he got drafted.
Now you’re a Bronco McGahee, and I couldn’t be more happy. You got great work ethic and leadership! Congratulations on becoming one of our captains i’m glad you’re here in Denver man honestly. Keep up the good work!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to you Willis. As I said in an earlier blog you wrote, I thought you were a class act and the type of player and person that can help inspire a team to the playoffs. I see your teammates felt the same way by making you a captain, Congrats Bud !
I’m sure people thought I was nuts when I mentioned the playoffs back when you guys were 2-5 but I know you guys can do it.
And here you are, in the thick of it. Players that believe in each other the way you guys do can accomplish amazing things. Never and I’m mean f’n never allow anyone on this team to lose their intensity while you’re a captain and you will shock the NFL this year.

Congrats Willis if the team believes in you than so do I, I just got one thing to say…..You are not hitting the line as explosively as you did against Oakland….I seen you, I know you can hit it till they quit it..Just do it, I know it’s cliche as heck, but it seems from what I been watching that you do your best work when you just find your hole and attack ie. EXPLODE!! and you know I know, the whole world knows YOU CAN DO IT!!! So go do it CAPTAIN!!!
