I had a similar injury ten years (post-concussive syndrome) ago and the same symptoms (dizziness and nausea) after any exertion longer than five minutes. I was referred to South Valley Physical Therapy for vestibular rehabilitaion to treat central vestibular dysfunction. They gave me exercises (mostly to do with my eye and optic nerve) that helped tremendously and I got back to rigorous execise in a short period of time. I hope the Broncos know about this kind of rehabilitaion. Pass it along if you can. I can be contacted at johnbardin@aol.com w/ any further questions.

About Ben...
If he is not working out I do not see him able to make a come back till atleast game 6. Get better soon Ben! We need you!

Yes, I agree with denverobsession. Why does Ben Hamilton's condition sound like the dreaded "Concussion Syndrome" or whatever it's called that periodically forces athletes into early retirement?

I'm worried that this could be the end of Ben's career. The scariest part of Shanahan's quote is that Hamilton has to "stay away from any type of conditioning." That's not just telling Hamilton to avoid contact drills - that's saying don't even lift weights.

I just hope he's ok and has no lasting effects that will hinder him beyond football. Besides that, I might wish him a safe return to the field, but that seems less and less likely.

Andrew,

Sorry to gum up the blog with an off topic post, but the recent launch of the new and improved Broncos website has not been loading properly for several days now. I checked from several computers on several networks, all with the same issues. Just making sure someone over there was aware.

Thanks!

What is the injury status of Harris and Meadows? I can see Harris being one of the 8 inactive players for the first game regardless of injury. Without Meadows, maybe some other players will be changing numbers.
