Ok mavmech13...time for a reality check. First Stallworth would not fit in Denver because they are looking for a speed reciever to stretch the field. I wouldn't mind them signing Colbert from the Panthers who was interviewed by Denver on Friday. Second, Moss was interested in coming to Denver last year when he was a free agent but Denver ignored him. Why? Because he is too much of a hit on the salary cap. Third, Selvin Young is only a 10-15 carry back per game. Shanahan has said so himself. Bringing back Travis Henry was a great move in that there are not many proven running backs in the free agent market. And when Travis was healthy, he was the leading rusher in the NFL. Fourth, Dre Bly did play well despite what you think. Picking up DeAngelo Hall would be a mistake, he takes a lot of risks and with the Broncos pass rushing woes that would not be a good combination. And besides Foxworth is a starter in this league, he knows it and so does the coaching staff. Playing him just on dimes would be a waste of talent and he is too small to be a starter at safety.

It would be nice to see the Broncos be a little more aggressive in free agency. They missed out on some premier experienced defensive linemen.

Which by the way what is with the Browns picking up TWO superior defensive tackles in Corey Williams, formely of Green Bay, and Shaun Rogers, formely of Detroit??? Correct me if I am wrong but didn't Cleveland just switch to a 3-4 defense a couple of years ago? They don't need all those tackles!

I really think we should try for Moss or Stallworth. It's true Stallworth is more of a team player than Moss but, Moss has that "X" Factor and with Cutler's arm and Mr. Brandon Marshall on the other side with Stokley in the slot? Our offense could/would be devastating. On defense I think Boss Bailey would be a good fit he is a nice fast linebacker that I believe would fit nice in our scheme. I do have to say that I think Selvin Young and Andre Hall could have filled our HB position nicely WITHOUT Travis Henry. This on is WAY out there but pick up DeAngelo Hall, Bly was unimpressive last year, Bailey and Hall would start Bly play nickel and bring back Foxworth and play him in Dime packages or at Safety. And what the hell pick up Kearse he might be able to help a little on D-line, although we thought the same thing about Simeon Rice and look how that turned out.

Peace

I would rather have Stallworth. He is not as selfish as Moss is and he tries no matter what his role in the offense.

RUMORS. YES, let's take a shot at Lance Briggs good pass rushing linebacker. We need QB pressure. More than likley we'll go after the other Bear Ayanbedejo or the other Bailey(Boss). Don't think Shanny doesn't want a veteran DT or a DE. Coleman of Atlanta will be his next tackle target. I wouldn't put it past him to go after more veterans like Spires , Macfarland, or some other guy that's injury prone. Let's not forget as bad as the D is, with Walker gone the Offense could be offensive. Mark my words coach will talk with Mr. Randy Moss if he can't pesuade him will get how about Stallworth or Berrian? (I won't mind) I was dissapointed for not trading or releasing Henry, but watch Mike bring in a guy from free agents or the draft to make some RB noise. (if Stewart is availble at our spot I say take him in round one) Last but not least resign the old man kicker. Elam doesn't have the distance he used to but when we aquire Moss we 'll only need him for Extra Points.

What about LANCE BRIGGS? He would be a great pick up for us. Making the defense much improved instantly! Is Denver even lookiing at him and if not , why not. Tired of players being put in the wrong position like D.J. Williams , who is not a middlelinebacker and tired of players not being stars. We draft terribly and coach even worse!!!!

I thought Ian Gold was less than stellar last season. There is a pretty good weak side linebacker in free agency but I think he probably wants too much $$$$. I figured J. Walker was gone when he started whining. No body wanted him too bad either, imagine that.
By the way, that's D. Foxworth , the lead singer for the Timex Social Club..........

I wouldn't be surprised if there are no big signings from Free Agency this year. It seems to me that we shifting our focus to better drafts or younger players from other teams that still have a big upside in front of them.
