Frustrated. That’s the way I feel right now. It’s the feeling most of the players on this team have right now. It’s a really terrible feeling when you go out to a game and you’re playing as hard as you can and doing whatever the coaches ask of you for the entire game, and at the end you look up at the final score, and it’s 44-7. It’s obvious that we’re doing something wrong, or a lot of things wrong, because I feel like the talent on the team is undeniable. Us having games like we’ve had so far this season is inexcusable.
I do look forward to cleaning things up this week. One of the positive things about this season is there’s been a lot of trouble in our division so far, which puts us still in a great position to take over the lead of the AFC West, or at least go into a tie for the lead. It’s very encouraging, which is one of the things that keeps myself motivated and keeps this team motivated, knowing that whether we’re 7-1 at this point and the leader is 8-0, or whether we’re 3-5 and the leader is 4-4, it really doesn’t matter what the records are. The point is, we’re not that far behind.
We have a big game against Kansas City this week that we’re looking forward to. One of the things about sports, and football specifically, is that there’s not time for us to sulk after a loss, and there’s no time to celebrate after a win. Teams that are really excited after a big win or really down for the whole week after a big loss will never be ready for the game in the upcoming week. That’s the most important thing right now, I think, is putting that game behind us, but at the same time, learning from it, finding out who’s making mistakes and how we need to fix them. We’ve gotten to a point in this season where people need to ask questions of themselves and decide what they want to be as an individual player. Assuming that everyone improves individually, it will improve us as a team.
I don’t know what I expect this week out of practice and out of meetings. I don’t know what to expect as far as a mood from the coaches or a change in intensity or focus on anything else, but I definitely expect something different. I expect something different from everybody — coaches, players and staff around here — because what we’ve been doing so far this season hasn’t been working and it’s not Broncos football.
It’s very difficult to deal with the season we’ve had so far, and it’s something I’ve spoken on earlier in the year in my blog, but times like these are a true test of the character of an individual. The tougher the times get, the more difficult it becomes to have confidence in yourself and have confidence in your teammates and still be a positive person and a positive member of the team. It gets more and more difficult as our record gets more and more difficult to look at. I guess that’s one of my main focuses and one of the things that I can control. The most important thing to me right now is doing exactly what’s asked of me by the coaching staff, and also trying to keep a positive outlook on the season and project a positive attitude to my teammates.
I take a greater responsibility for some of the things that have gone on this season just because I view myself as one of the leaders of our team. I think we talked about before how we have our captains, which are John Lynch, Champ Bailey, Jay Cutler and Jason Elam, but I kind of see myself as one of the second-rung lieutenants of the team. I think a lot of responsibility falls on us and not only holding ourselves accountable, but having confidence in our own abilities and our place on this team to hold our teammates accountable. If you see someone who’s not practicing the way they should be, or you see somebody missing an assignment or doing something that they shouldn’t be, it’s our responsibility as leaders on the team to call them out. When someone else plays poorly, I take just as much responsibility as a team leader as if I was to play really poorly.
We had a meeting last week with the NFL Players Association. During that meeting we voted for our player reps, and I was voted the unanimous selection. I had nobody to run against, which I guess is a good feeling. It just speaks to how I’m viewed on the team as one of the leaders, or somebody that they can trust to represent them.
It’s difficult, obviously, dealing with the football part and the emotions at work, but it also gets difficult in your public life as a Broncos player when things aren’t going well. I’ve become more and more recognizable as a professional football player in this town, and I get noticed more often than I did before, which is pretty difficult now with things going the way they are and people asking questions that I don’t have answers for. I guess there’s just been a lot of negativity and frustration around this city for the people who love the Denver Broncos. I talked about testing your character before, but this is also a big test of character, when people come up to you and say something negative about your team or about a teammate or a friend of yours. It really takes a lot to bite your tongue and give the answer that you’re supposed to give. But we definitely do appreciate how passionate the fans are about their team.
During the radio show that I do for 950 The Fan on Monday nights, I got a call last night from a fan who said some pretty negative things about Jay Cutler. I got really upset, because not only was the guy completely wrong about Jay, it just frustrates me because he had no idea what he was talking about. He had no idea about football or what it takes to be a professional quarterback. Jay is an amazing young quarterback. He definitely needs to get better just like we all need to get better, but the plays that he’s been able to make in the three wins that we have this year are largely a credit to him. His three game-winning drives are more than some five-year quarterbacks can say that they’ve had. He makes tremendous decisions most of the time, and it just really got under my skin because I really like him and have been impressed with his abilities as a leader and as a football player. And just anytime anybody says something about my teammates or even about me, it upsets me a little bit, but I understand that the fans have their opinions and they like to be heard.
We’ve had a ton of injuries so far this season. A lot of people are pointing to those injuries as an explanation for our record, but we’re all professionals and nobody got to this league by being a bad football player. Coach Shanahan always stresses that the people that step in for an injured player, whether they’re a Pro Bowler or a future Hall of Famer, you’re expected to fill in and play as well as that player would have. Like I said, there’s no slouches in this league, and the people who step in for injured players, we all expect them to step up. That’s something that has stuck with me and something that Coach Shanahan said to me in my first start my rookie year against Jacksonville. I think Champ was hurt and I got my first start in Week 4. He said to me that I’m expected to play just as well as Champ would’ve played, and he said that at a team meeting in front of the whole team. Most of the time I’m pretty calm, and I don’t get nervous before games, but that night I really felt the pressure. But it became evident that everybody expected that throughout the course of the game. Nobody was overjoyed with the plays that I was making. They were proud of me, and said, “Good job,” but it’s just the nature of the Broncos organization. You’re expected to do these things and you’re expected to step up.
It’s just a trickle-down effect. It’s all about how Coach Shanahan projects his attitude. “Attitude reflects leadership” is one of Nick Ferguson’s favorite quotes, and that’s a perfect example of how the attitude of the team is reflected by his leadership. I would even go so far as to say that it goes all the way up to Mr. Bowlen. His attitude is the same. There’s high expectations here and the idea of a drop off, like how other teams might have a rebuilding season or a transition season, that’s just unacceptable here. That’s just the type of organization that I’m proud to be a part of. Despite what our record is now, we’re still in good position and we still have half a season to go. Everything that could’ve possibly gone wrong so far, has. To still be in position to take over the lead of our division has been a tremendous blessing. I think that’s one of the main motivations right now. Had we been in a division with a team that’s just blowing everybody out and is just head and shoulders above everybody else in the division, it would be even more difficult to find some motivation at this point.
We don’t do much scoreboard watching. At least personally, I don’t do much scoreboard watching during the game, but it’s definitely something that’s important after the game. Once our game’s over, it’s important to see what everybody else is doing. To see Kansas City and San Diego lose this week definitely made the flight home a little better for me. Just to know that we’re still in the race, despite all the mistakes that we’ve made, is great. I haven’t really been scoreboard watching, but once it gets toward the end of the season and the games are magnified, it’s impossible not to take a peek up there and see how other people are doing, because it directly affects you. I fully expect to be in a position at the end of the year where the scoreboard watching actually matters, like we were last year. Unfortunately, we lost the game to get us into the playoffs, but we were in a position where it really mattered what everybody was doing around the league. The year before that, my rookie year, we were 13-3 and we had to watch the scoreboard to make sure we got home-field advantage. So it definitely happens, but it doesn’t change what’s going on on the field. We still need to do our jobs, which is the most important thing. Watching the scoreboard doesn’t make anything happen that you want to happen. It doesn’t make the teams lose that you need to lose or the teams win that you need to win. It’s impossible not to be wondering and take a peek up there, but it’s important to stay focused on what the task at hand is.
We are not out of it, and that is the encouraging part. All Ready.

Fox,
That guy on the radio show yesterday was an idiot! Jay Cutler is one of the best things to happen to this team in a long time.
It’s ok for people to get frustrated, but to completely lose any kind of perspective, and start throwing blame around where it doesn’t belong is just ignorant.
You all hang in there. Not all of us fans have given up yet. Personally, I’m looking forward to a scenario in which we barely sneek into the playoffs with a 7-9 or 8-8 record, win the wildcard weekend, then face the 16-0 Patriots and embarrass them on their home field to knock them out.
As unlikely as it is, we could hold that over them for years!
Good Luck at KC, and GO BRONCOS!
Hey Fox,
Hang in there, baby. This is tough, but we will get through this.
I understand your frustration and I have faith that things will get better for my boys.
Not a whole lot to say. No need to point out all things that went wrong. You guys already know. Just keep working hard and things will get better.
“Correction does much, but encouragement does more.”
Stay encouraged.
Best of luck next week in KC.
All Ready!

Hey Man,
There’s 11 of you on the team playing at one time to stop what ever is coming your way. Frustrated or not, you guys have to find a way to work together. Watching the game on sunday, you guys appeared to me like you are beat up and done. There’s no push in the front line and there are too many holes in the middle. Maybe it’s time to tell Mike that what ever new you are doing is not working and it’s time to do what Broncos do best and that is crushing the opponent on defense. Each person who is in the team are professionals, right? So, why should it matter whether you have all the starters hurt? The veterans need to motivate the new players and help them realize that this is their moment to shine and make a difference. You guys are a great team and will continue to have my support no matter what, but it’s sure would be nice to start celebrating wins again. Dig deep and I know you guys will start winning again.
just beat KC and not worry about the playoffs or SB its not going to happen. We wouldn’t want it to happen at this point. Most TV, radio, and people are thinking of us as a joke of a team so lets just do are best and make them forget all of that..
Kick KC’s butt
One week at a time Fox. Take care of business in KC and the end of the season will take care of itself. You guys need to really check each other and unite.
Adversity and attitude.
Fox, (in my opinion) it’s all about perspective and keeping your head up, sure things suck at the moment, but as soon as you bow your head to defeat you’ll lose sight of your goals, and lose perspective on the important things!
I got some perspective from TWO things combined this week -
1. Your quote “Shanahan always stresses that the people that step in for an injured player, …. you’re expected to fill in and play as well as that player would have.”
2. Actually seeing Mike Leach (longsnapper) take a few practice snaps, so he was “ready” to go in at QUARTERBACK!
If you can’t see the ironic comedy in that, … I got $10 that says some veteran player cracks a “Leach at starting QB” joke at training this week! Maybe his locker should be moved over with the QB’s?
FACT: Last week in the NFL, a STAGGERING 14 teams actually LOST their games! Denver was one of them.
Keep your head up, keep trying and keep playing, that’s all I ask as a fan! GO BRONCOS!
NORWEGIAN FAN/SUPPORTER!!!
im from Norway, going to The US to watch you guys play soon. A buddy of mine asked after the loss this Sunday “Are you still going.. wasting your money like that”? And i wondered what the hell, how can you ask such a stupid question.. As i have said always, im not a fan, im supporte. I belive SUPPORT no matter what, off coarse Im going, it made me want to go even more..I will have banners, get all the people next to me scream even louder, make noise, and SHOW our never ending DIE HARD LOVE FOR THE BRONCOS. As a fan you shall always belive in your team.. if you quit believing in your team, because you think your team quit on you, then your not a fan!! If a fan is critical thats okay.. but talking about things you know nothing about.. or even worse TRASH TALKs he deserves nothing less than a loosing team.. I love the Broncos, i bough the NFL pass ove the Internet, and every sunday get im my chair here in Oslo (capital of Norway) and we (All five off us..hehe, not many football fans in this country) make more noise than 200 bronco fans all to getter.. I think you guys can still pull this season off.. your good, you have so much potential, talent, and reading this blog I understand you have people with personality that positively effects the whole team. A team needs good coaches, go to guys, great players, fresh blood, old vets, leaders, and all that (with more) you guys have.. I know you guys can put this last game behind you, and win the next once. So, go be a positive impact on your team mates, play your hardest (with i have no doubt you always do) and be the great team you guys are and can be!!!
Thank you for this blog, not easy to hear much about you guys and your team over here, so really appreciate it. As a thank you, i have ordered a D.Fox jersey witch i will wear every game not just because of your blog, but because you always play well, and im officially declaring my self a D.Fox supporter!!
GOOD LUCK ON KC…
NORWAY SIGNING OFF..
Tor Jorfald
good luck in KC!!!!!! i still believe in you guys, and ALWAYS will!
GO BRONCOS
-PARIS (#1 BRONCO FAN!!!!!)
I still believe we are going to win this division…lets take care of KC and then TEnnessee…we will be in sole possesion of first place by then!! Go Broncos!!
The true Broncos fans are the ones who will never stop supporting you. We may get frustrated and disappointed but come back week after week. I hope you still feel our support even when times are tough. I’m sorry you get a lot of random questions being thrown your way from fans on the street. If I met you in person I’d shake your hand and tell you how happy I am that you are a Bronco and to go get ‘em next week.
I think most of us Broncos fans love Jay Cutler. I have so much fun watching him and you are right, he is great at 4th quarter game winning drives. I am proud of the job he has done.
I guess what us fans are trying to figure out is what has been going so wrong with the Broncos. Like you said, there is a lot of talent on the team and we don’t know what the problem is other than injuries. Do you think its the scheme or execution problems? I know you probably can’t say but thats what the fans are most frustrated about, we can’t put the finger on why things are not going so well.
You are right, the division is far from decided and just take it one game at a time. Start a winning streak now for the second half. The Broncos are flying under the radar now so go get ‘em!
Only one game out of first. That is all that matters. Good luck in KC and it would be nice to actually win on their field. Go Broncos!
Fox,
It’s frustrating to love this team as I do and watch a blow-out like we had this week. I take heat about the Broncos also. I’m working out of state and people stab at the Broncos trying to stab at me but the Broncos are MY TEAM and frankly those others can go to hell!
We seem to be just one step away from greatness every play. It’s clear that the league has Jim Bates number. I know our team and the coaches see that also and will adjust. Win or lose it’s time to pull together as a team and show everyone that the Broncos are a class organization and not to be dismissed.
Hey guys, GET ANGRY and kick some Kansas City ass!
Hey Fox,
I agree the most Important thing is you are still very in it. Think about it Indy going to SD will Win because they have so much to prove now. Poor SD they are going to fall victum this week, and with L.J. most likely out you are going to be facing a older Preist Holmes in the run D. I know you can win, and if you so there will be a three way tie for first place. If you win you controll you own destany, and thats what the Bronco orginization is all about. Wouldnt it be nice to be able to not worry about the score boards because you are winning. I think Arowhead is a hard place for us to play, but just dont let Tony G slip out of your sight if your playing safty again this week. You made some nice plays this week too. I am ready for their Young Qb to throw some Int’s to you guys. I think our D can win this weekend for us… I think we are all hoping Jay will be okay, because any true Bronco Fan see’s a lot of potnetial in Jay.
There is only one thing that I cannot stand as a Bronco fan this year. I don’t care if you lose 10 games, so long as those 6 wins come AT HOME! Any Broncomaniac loves to win and hates to lose, but nothing stings worse than losing a game in your own backyard.
I don’t know what is going on, but there is no reason why you guys are allowing to be beaten up on your own turf. That is my only beef right now and I had to say it somewhere. Personally, I hope you stick around in Denver for a long long time, Fox.
As for that dude who ripped on Cutler, he doesn’t know his arse from his elbow. Plummer was a good QB for this team, but it was time to move on and Cutler has been the spark that has kept us within striking distance of the division lead. So pay no attention to that guy because he clearly has no clue.
Do me one favor, stick it to KC this weekend. Let those fans see what it’s like to have a losing record at Home! As always, I’ll be screaming and hollaring at my television screen come Sunday. Good luck and knock them on their arses baby!
“There’s eleven leaders on this defense.” – John Lynch
Yeah it’s off the commercial, LOL.
Good luck this week in KC, Fox.
good luck this week fox and keep your head up you should browse through the general discussion boards and see how bad it gets in there when you loose, truth is no one will always be happy, just like that guy on the radio. If the team believes in Cutler and he is performing like he has than the bad stuff that comes from some of the fans doesnt mean squat becuase they arent the ones playing for him
In the second game of a stretch in which they will play six road games in eight weeks, the Broncos are 10-3 away from home in November since 2000. Denver has a 33-14 record in November since 1995 for a .702 winning percentage that is the best in the NFL over that span.
See this ^………that’s some positive tid bits there, so from reading this I gather that we should win this game in KC and if the rumors are true about LJ being out I like our chances even more! It’s time for us to start getting the breaks we so badly need and if that means that the opposing teams top running back is out then so be it! Go Broncos!
Torviking, I really admire your conviction buddy, If I was at the game your going to I would love to sit in your section.
Dom, you basically hit on everything I questioned you about last week, and I must say that your blog here today shows great character.
I am happy to see that you love our team as much as the fans do.
I admit that I was really disgusted watching that game. All the dropped passes and poor blocking. It seemed that Ramsey forgot all about Stokely until the one scoring drive. it was just real hard to watch.
Defensively it was great to see that Champ and Dre recovered, unfortunately we were picked apart across the middle, and we all know that that is not the corners responsibility. The dinking and dunking ate us up and of course we couldn’t stop the run again, TJ Duckett brings a load, he has for years. We need a middle Linebacker that can play like Al played, I believe its our one missing piece. Sure DJ and Ian are great fast LB’s but they need help…we need a cornerstone…get better AL and make a comeback push that the coaches can’t ignore.
True we are only 1 game out of first, but we are also only 1 game out of last place. Optimistcaly things are bleak. the team traditionally struggles at KC. I want to believe in you guys this year, I truly do.
Fox,
Hang in there…..there’s a lot of true Bronco fans that support you guys during thick and thin, it’s just the negative types that make the talk shows on Monday afternoons.
This organization isn’t used to times like this–none of us fans have seen games like this for a long-time. But I also believe that adversity isn’t all bad, indeed overcoming adversity in tough times ultimately separates the winners from the losers in the Long Run, and I know we have a lot of winners on this team, or the Broncos wouldn’t have brought you there in the first place. Nobody really learns much about themselves in good times, so look at this as an opportunity to show what you guys are made of, regardless of what ‘others’ are saying out there.
I think the Broncos have a great opportunity this weekend to go into KC and kick the Chiefs’ Ass–that team is vulnerable. So go in there and show all everybody what you guys are made of–I know you’ll do well.
Hey dom,
I was reading some responces and i saw one guy said that dont look forward to the sb or the playoffs but thats the opposite mentality you should be encouraged to go there but also take it one game at a time. I didnt listen to the radio show but i dont like people saying that jay is a bad qb, he converts on 3rd downs i remeber with jake plummer i knew if it was a 3rd and long situtaition that i should expect a punt but know i know there is hope on 3rd down. Jay couldnt be a better quarter back at this point, i see his talent and i can see the future and it is good and if the broncos just work as a team, work even harder (dont injure your selfs) that that future can happen now. your never a loser till you quit trying and thats the way i see it. I know its hard to play in kc but i know we can get a win. Dom you should feel like a good player because thats what you are a good if not great player you just need more playing time at corner. One question, at the combine what was your 40 speed? Your right about expecting back ups to step up i wouldnt have it any other way.
Stay healthy!!!!!! and win.
All ready!!!
Domonique,
Thanks for taking the time to write these blogs it gives me something to look forward to every Tuesday.
I have been a big fan of yours ever since your rookie year. It’s always easier to cheer for the players that are great guys off the field too.
I am going to be at the game in KC this Sunday! My tickets are in the upper deck, but you’ll be able to hear me screaming for you when you get yourself a big time pick off Damon Huard!
I’m still wearing Orange ‘n’ Blue and sticking in there – and we know you will too.
You’re definitely still in the race. There’s 8 games left now – enough to go 11-5. Just play your game, and show some pride for us on Sunday!
I can’t wait to see us grab our first win at KC in over eight years.
Mile High Salute!
Domo do you think champ is haveing a bad year i do he hasn’t been making any picks. i think that me and my friend cory just emailed you telling you that i just joined well im looking forward to seeing you on nov. 20th on your roideo show bye
Domonique,
The harsh reality is that people like you and I who know the game have to deal with a bunch of nonsensical a-holes who think they know the game and make asinine and ludicrous comments. Most of these losers are myopic Pats “fans” who jump on the bandwagon of whatever team is doing well and gloat in their ignorance. Obviously, I’m just as disappointed as you are in how the season has gone thus far, but San Diego and Kansas City are not capitalizing on their good fortune and we have a shot to smack the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Do, this Dominique! The season is far from over and screw those Broncos “fans” who are critical of Jay Cutler. Cutler is our indisputable leader and he continues to progress. No one else is tailor made enough for what Coach Shanahan wants to do offensively. Let’s keep things in perspective and take advantage of those opportunities placed before us. Kansas City, particularly after I watched their game against the Packers on NFL Replay, is nothing without Larry Johnson. He’s out this Sunday, so win this one Broncs!!!
Here’s to a win in KC! Positive vibes coming the Broncos way, all the way from El Paso, Texas Dom! You guys stay positive, the Broncos are due.
Keep your head up Fox,You guys have been through Hell and back, and are just one game out, what doesnt kill you can only make you tougher spit the blood out ,rub a little dirt on it and get back to work. Oww and remmeber to laugh at the idiots they are great entertainment.
Dom do you think that you gise have a chance a ginst kansas city becuse name one amazing player on their team besides larry johnson
Fox,
I hate to be the one that says “We Suck”, but we do! There’s not been one shining standout that really gives up hope that any good will come from this season. It is what it is…right? I dont think our chemistry or talent is nearly equal to the top teams. I call what the coaches did yesterday to Cox/Clark/Gordon “A GREAT START”. Sorry, I wish I could be more supportive, but you guys are athletes being paid BIG money to represent…right? So, where’s the value for us fans who buy NFL packages, jerseys, tickets, etcs.? What would you do Fox? For real?
we got this, Us true bronco fans believe. I got a feeling that we’re gonna have a colo. rockies magical ending.
Hey Fox! Don’t pay attention to that stupid so called fan that called in and made the comments about Jay. This person obviously does not know what he is talking about. Jay is an extemely good QB. I think he is very talented and I see him as the QB for Denver since Elway retired. Everybody forgets when Elway first came in the league, he also threw interceptions. Cutler is still learning.
I know the team is struggling this season with all of the injuries and new players. Not to mention the heavy hearts playing without Williams and Nash.
Don’t listen to the fairweather fans. Every team has a bad game or season. I do think there are problems with the team that practice will fix.
To you and the rest of the team, keep your head up and hang in there. Every week is a new week. Most of the games have been close with the score.
Hopefully you guys will get the win in Kansas City. I am sure Indi will get the win over the stupid Chargers. If Denver wins over Kansas City, all three teams will be tied for 1 st place. There is no dominating team in the AFC West this year. Fianlly, everybody sees how bad the stupid CHARGERS really are. Even if you don’t get the win over Kansas City, I will still wear my broncos stuff with pride.
All I have to say is good luck in Kansas City and Go Broncos !!!!!!!!
I have to say, I have been in a deep football depression this week. My husband’s college alma mater lost a HUGE game, my alma mater blew a 21-point half-time lead, and the Broncos had a really rough game. However, I am feeling much better after reading this. Your positive attitude is contagious, my friend — thanks!
As the Rockies gave Denver fans some excitement in October, I guess that’s the Nuggets duty now cuz obviously the Broncos aren’t doing the job. Better luck next year I guess, cuz staying positive isn’t going to get you in the playoff’s this year!
2008 Broncos Football Camp? My family and I are coming to the Dec 9th game against the Chief’s at home. This will be my first game ever to attend. I cant tell you how excited I am. Anyway, my question is.. with all that is going on with T. Henry they have pulled his name off of the Broncos Youth Camp with International Sports for 2008. Would you consider coming back in 08 to lead the camp? I hope so. I dont know what to say about the allegations other than dissapointed because he is looked up to by all the boys attending the camp last year (my son included). But I also know we are all human and should hold off judgement, but still. I just feel the boys will need an even stonger role model at the summer camp after this taking place.
I’ve seen the Nuggets through the tough times and I’ve seen the Rockies through the tough times. I won’t be abadoning the Broncos anytime soon
It is hard though. Its good to know that the players and coaches are striving for change and that these lean times are not going to be accepted.
I hated it when people ripped Jake Plummer apart. Sure he made poor decisions but so did favorite son, John Elway. There will never ever be an error-free QB or an error-free athlete. I’m sure it feels like an attack on a brother when people say hateful and uneducated things about Jay and other players. Good for you to defend him!
Times are hard right now but know that you’ve got this girl backing you up in Colorado Springs no matter what!
Take care of some business in Kansas City!
Hey Fox,
It’s 1 game at a time. Many have said it already. There are millions of fans that are rallying around you and the boys.
I personally get to see you guys Nov 25th @ Chicago. Now there’s a win
You guys think it’s bad as a Bronco fan, you should listen to Chicago sports radio. Last year superbowl appearance turns into a team that’s only bright spot is a human video game in Devon Hester. They still think Griese is a QB
Fox, it’s all good! oh by the way, has anybody told San Diego Peyton’s coming to town
Yep, and he’s looking for an endzone!!!!
p.s. Get that new daddy some tickets!! (DBJL6987) if we don’t baptize that baby in orange & blue soon, Let Plummer Play will probably eat it!
GO ARROWHEAD HUNTING!!!!
If your so fustrated get a pick and take it to the hood. You guys are’nt even playing competitive football.MAN UP! and play some Bronco football…!!!! It’s embarrassing to cut the TV on Sundays and see the team you have been supporting for 27 years getting bent over. I’m sorry Bro but I wanna see some hard hitting Denver Bronco football. LET’S GO!
Just wanted to say I will be in KC cheering my lungs out for you guys. Go out and kick some KC butt.
Hey Domonique,
Good luck at Arrowhead! I don’t really know what to say about the game, I live in Oregon so I missed it. The games I have seen this year the one thing I’ve noticed is there doesn’t seem to be that one madman on defense that energizes the rest of the squad. Typically that crazy guy is the middle linebacker, and I love D.J. and think he is crazy talented, he just doesn’t seem to exude that ass-kicking persona. I just think the defense needs that one man to stand up, make some plays and help elevate the play of those around him. You have been playing awesome this year, so on a personal level you deserve recognition. Again, good luck and stay healthy.
Im sorry FOX but you guys are not playing with a passion and the focus needed to win,You(the Team) play good some plays and bad some. You cant be champions with that plan.So Man up and get your team together. How would it be if there was a policy that said if you dont win you dont get paid ? Would your level of intensity increase?. There appears to be a lack of determination and concentration for every play. Where is the intensity, pride,Lets Kick some ass. I’ve had a lot of people that know I’m a Broncos fan talk all kinds of garbage about Cutler. The thing that gets me is how they always look back to last year and say, well he didn’t perform the way he should have and didn’t get you guys to the Super Bowl. But they don’t take the time to actually sit down and look at what happened. I said ALL last year that he needed to be given a little bit of a chance, a taste of what it was to be an NFL Quarterback, A Denver Broncos quarterback. But he was thrown into that situation at the end of the year and was expected to do wonders. AND HE DID! It just didn’t turn out the way everyone wanted, but that’s all everyone sees, the fact that you guys didn’t make it to the Super Bowl.
Cutler has done a great job and he’s only going to Improve. He’s young, this is his second year. No one (or very few) are perfect their first couple of years (ok, so Roethlisberger won a Super Bowl his rookie year, what about the following year? lol) ya know? It’s just, it’s good to have high expectations and all, but some people’s expectations are out of this world and just unattainable even for the best.
I think you guys are going to do great. You are absolutely right about still being in there. That’s what matters, and you cannot, CANNOT, dwell on one game or another, because like you said, if the team dwells on a loss, you’ll never be ready to face your next opponent. I like that mindset it’s awesome. Sure you had a bad day, get over it and move on. Anyway you guys have a good rest of the week and Good Luck against the Chiefs!! Show em what it’s all about!

Dom, this year has been hard for all of us, but maybe it’s a blessing, to get the bad play out of the way early rather than later, in past years, we’ve been one of the better opening teams, and fallen short at the end, maybe this is the year we start sluggish, and catch fire late, injuries (although definately not an excuse) have hurt us. Once we get a win against KC, and get rolling, i see us turning this thing around, this is the perfect week to do it, and we might be in the lead for the WEST after its all said and done sunday, keep ya’lls heads up, and good luck in KC, bring a DUB back to denver from KC for the first time in like forever. PS, you guys should definately put the game out of reach early this week, because i wont be able to watch the last part of it, yeah, im pretty pissed….but i have prior engagements, where would i be without cell phones, i feel like i’ll be the espn guy on his cell fone getting updates on the commercials, but you should put it out of reach before i have to leave, so theyres no sweating the W….GOOD LUCK!!!! HANG IN THERE!!!

Dom!
You know what all you guys gotta do hey? Let all your frustration and anger out on KC!!!
As much as I’m upset and frustrated with you guys I will never turn my 20+yrs on you! – NEVER! I will die being a true Denver Broncos fan supporter!
Sh*t does happen, but we all know if you believe in yourself… anything is possible!
Jay is a trooper! Glad to hear he may play come this Sunday.
Like I said, you guys gotta let it all out on Sunday.
And… Please do us all a favor and bring back the Bronco Salute! – This goes to everyone who scores Sunday against the Chiefs!
Peace out…. All Ready!

Whats up Fox ?
Another tough loss but we are only one game out of first. Haha I saw what you were wearing at practice. That guy is an idiot and has no clue what he is talking about. Jay Cutler already has 3 Game Winning Drives. He gets better and better. Lets get him some play-off expierience this year. Hey I can’t wait for sunday lets go get em. I just came in from playing a pick up game I got 2 interceptions 1 TD and some key tackles and a fumble recovery. In a tough 11-10 loss.
lol thats a funny pic of you at practice with the sunglasses on!
Just know this…the broncos are one of the most, if not the most, prestigious franchises in all of the NFL. I mean go back…WAY back, and check the year to year records…the winning percentage is rediculous and overlooked alot of the times….the reason people hate the broncos is because they are sick of seeing them win…like the colts…like the patriots…people have hated denver for years cause they kicked everyones ass for over 40 years AND COUNTING and all you fans of other teams….5 SUPERBOWLS!! 5, and how many playoff appearances to go with that? how many losing seasons have the broncos had since 1990?? 2…if not its 3!!! dont tell me the broncos suck because your knowledge of football and its history sux! Go broncos you are all winners no matter what the record says…play for each other cause you cant win the game by yourself…trust the man next to you and just do what you have done since you could practically crawl…PLAY FOOTBALL BOYS!
#27 your gone but not forgetten…EVER!
one more thing i forgot to mention..i did notice that ever since Al Wilson has been gone…the team is missing that special something….was Al Wilson the TRUE heart to this defense?? maybe they took the heart out…cause you know what happens when you take the heart out of a living thing……..it dies.
Dom…
I think someone else on here said it best!
LET’S GET ANGRY..AND TAKE CARE OF SOME BUSINESS!
Any TRUE Bronco fans will have your back…and for anyone else…Get off the bandwagon!
Let’s toll into KC and take advantage of us only being a game back!
GO BRONCOS!
Hey Fox,
KC will be the easiest game in youre life if you can stop the run ( it will be easier with LJ out) because a guy like Huard will never beat you by the air expeciely with u champ and dre’ covering guys like parker, kennison and bowe. I think we should get a regular D-Line and change only at timeouts so we dont get drive-saving penalties. this is what i propose:
DL:Rice-Engelberger(even though hes not a DT)-Carrington-Elvis
LB:Gold-Webster-DJ
CB:Bailey SS:FOX and hamza FS: Nick CB:Bly
Fox,
New to this blog but just wanted to wish you guys luck this week. The Broncos are having problems this year but I am sure the whole team is working on fixing them and don’t need advise from the fans. Win or lose I am still a fan! But, I can’t live in South Florida without also being a Dolphin’s Fan, so just imagine how they must feel with their 0-8 record!!! Kinda makes your situation sound much better right?
Also, don’t even listen to these A-hole psuedofans and the comments they make! Because I’m in Florida I didn’t hear your radio show and the Jay Cutler comments but I hope you told him to trade in his Bronco Jersey for a *T*o*m***B*r*a*d*y* one and join the other members of the
PSUEDO-IDIOT-FAN-DON’T HAVE A CLUE SO I NEED TO BE A PAT’S FAN CULT!!!! and live on the same island as OJ Simpson and all the other celebs that need to “go away”
You guys are having your rough spots, WHO CARE?!?
Ever team has that, and you guys are still playing alright…
Practice makes perfect, if you don’t hit hard times, then you won’t learn anything. And all your heads will blow up, and then we will be doing bad, because you will go out there with the thought that you are going to win, and then you won’t….Going out there knowing we are going to play our best, then thats when you do! And I just hope this week you guys can do somthing to make yourselves feel better. Love the bronco’s and will be behind you guys no matter if you were 0-8 or 8-0, so just do your thang! Things will be fine!! Xoxo
