I’ve been reading your postings for several months now and I’m just amazed at how active you are in the Denver community. I definitely respect players who are skilled on the field, but I respect players tenfold more if they have such a positive, refined, and mature attitude such as yours. That attitude will carry over and you will reap the rewards on the field in no time!

Also, thank you so much for doing this blog. It’s great to actually hear from a player on the team outside of short interviews. All us Bronco fans are blessed to have you taking the time to do it. We’re proud to have you in a Bronco uniform and hope that you will be sporting number 22 in Denver for years to come.

I know that deep down you have to be somewhat disappointed that after Coach Shanahan announced you would be the starter at corner opposite Champ, the team then traded for Dre and signed him to a large extension meaning your new role would be nickel corner. From a team perspective, I believe that trading Tatum and George(2 players who were clearly only going to be backups in 2007)for an accomplished DB such as Dre was a good move. I say this NOT as a reflection on you(I firmly believe you could start at corner for most teams in the NFL right now) but because what Dre said he told you about getting many oppourtunities to make plays this year from the nickel spot will be ABSOLUTELY true. Teams will know early on this year that it will be tough to work the outside of the field and will be all but forced to work the interior, playing right into yours and the safeties hands! This turn of events for you personally could give you an even BETTER chance to showcase your talents leaguewide this year. You always have to be mindful of the future. I will be watching this situation with keen interest! All the best for 2007 and beyond!

I went to camp on Monday and I had a great time! We got to sit right on the 35 in the first row so I had a great view of you and the other defensive backs warming up. You guys are awesome and I appreciate the opportunity to see your talent on display every Sunday. I love reading your blog each week! It provides another dimension to players that is not often seen. You’re a very intelligent person. I can appreciate now the magnitude of graduating in 3 1/2 years; I’m working on it now. Way to go! Can’t wait to see you in action again this season!!
