How was everybody’s Thanksgiving?
Mine was fantastic. I ate at my house -– one of my friends, she cooks, so we just relaxed at home. I didn’t get a chance to see my family because they were in California, so I was there in spirit and they were here with me in spirit.
Overall, I’m thankful for a lot of things. I’m thankful that I can be able to play this beautiful game that God blessed me to play, be able to be a part of this team. It’s especially fun to be part of the team since we’re playing so well.
As far as the win streak we’re on, it’s been good, but I don’t get overexcited about wins because it’s not like we won the Super Bowl. So, you don’t get too happy. It’s like keep your eyes on next week it goes on and on and on. This is the most amount of wins I’ve had since my sophomore year, if we get this sixth one, it’d be the most I’ve ever had since sophomore year. It’s a good thing and I’m just glad we’re getting our mojo back.
I’m expecting a competitive game come this Sunday. The Chargers are going to come out striking, they’re going to come out ready and so are we. It’s going to be a competitive game. The Chargers, I don’t care if they’ve lost 10 straight, they beat us earlier this season. They came in our house and beat us, especially on defense. We kind of take that with some pride. Our coaches are doing a great job for us as far as showing us the right way to make this game competitive and hopefully come out with a win.
Make sure you’re watching.

sndvl- Hope that ref was not directed at me. FTR Nation! BRONCOS COUNTRY! VonDoomsday sounds good for tomorrow. I hope Rivers gets his dose of VonDoom and gets to look at some pretty clouds tomorrow!

Yooper: a native born resident of Upper Michigan. A.K.A. Yooper, UPer, etc. Residents of lower Michigan are held in great contempt by we UPers and refered to as Trolls. A troll is a disgusting creature that lives beow bridges. The Mackinac Bridge connects Upper and lower Michigan, thus lower Michiganders are Trolls because they live below the bridge.
End of UPer trivia lesson.
hey all just a warning about a jersey scam from China. nikenfljersey.com and 2bcnfljersey.com its a rip off!
Appreciate the info shaztah. I’ll be in Kansas when the game comes on. Do you happen to know which station will work? If not it’ll only take me a couple extra seconds to figure it out. Bronc at you guys later!
No Camharland. Not at all.
It would have been clear in my post that vanished. Think it had to do with typing out a certain handle. I can’t be sure because I’m not gonna type it again. Lol
Just sayin…It’s more of a suggestion (and my strong personal opinion) FTR nation!!!! Couldn’t have typed it better myself Cam….kudos!
GO BRONCOS!!!!! (on the brink of a winning record. And speaking of record…I’d like to go on it now…lol…my season record prediction was predicated on our defense being stout and aggressive. Not who our QB was…)
Thanks snvl.
Just watched the Stanford/ND game.
Luck can throw some wobblers, too! HA HA! Hope Timmy gets better with his reads!
Broncos Football!
FTC (two more times!)
I have predicted a Denver loss the last three weeks and have been rewarded with wins. I will continue the trend this week.
SD – 24
DEN – 21
Prove me wrong boys! GO BRONCOS!

Buddy has a man cave for a garage. nicer than my house. bringing my laptop to watch the game. last time this happened we lost 59-14 to raiders, took lots of abuse on that one. I really hope they win because next week in minny that game will mean something for us and ill be there live and in person
Bay! It’s a quarter to 12? did you make a prediction Today that I have missed? I have been running over the blog for a while, and I’m watching the ESPN Classic of Harvard/Yale… when Harvard scored 16 points in the final minute to force a 29-29 tie… haha..
There are a couple of good video’s on NFL.com about Tebow and the Broncos vs. Chargers… Still hard for any announcer to give the Broncos any credit…!!! LOVE IT
VON TEBOW FOOTBALL!!!!

Stupid session. Can’t use the studio equipment for internet access to top it off my phone and iPod are dead.
That’s why the SD Deadbatterys lose this one haha
Or maybe its the other way around because the Dead batterys beat me LOL!!
Haha… what up Royalty!
Multiple handles violates the terms of the blog but mainly enforced on the message boards. Some get reprimanded as others get a pass. Consistancy would be nice.
Hilarious… very well thought out and well written, and funny FUNNY!!!
Definately not for the kids though…
FTC!!!
Hmmmm…. This I just read on the Chargers Websight… With all the injuries on the OL they didn’t give up a Sack last week…
“Philip Rivers was not sacked for the first time in 26 games and was only hit once. San Diego utilized a few screen passes and intentionally got the ball out quick on a few occasions, but didn’t implement a major overhaul.”
GO GET’EM VON!!!!
FTC!!!
Haha…. Also off of the Charger Website… i don’t know who the poster was but I like them!!! This is way funnier in the context of the article, as they were discussing wasted draft picks by AJ Smith! LOL
Should have drafted Tebow… Tebow? Tebow!
As a Bronco fan, I can’t believe that every front page story here isn’t about Tebow. Enough about my opinion of Tebow, what do you think about Tebow?
Maya: “What are your first impressions of Denver?”
Mozgov: “I must break you…”

Like I told Royalty many times, posting a prediction 5 minutes before the deadline every week was bound to backfire eventually.
All predictions are in, including mine turtle, posted it on another blog yesterday to avoid the identity crisis.
No picks on game day as always, no exceptions. Good luck to everyone!
Final tally:
55 Broncos win
8 SD wins
Not even any question about this game in Broncos Country obviously!
No matter how many bloggers hate Rivers he has a pretty healthy attitude about the game:
“The book’s not over. The book hasn’t ended this season,” Rivers said. “We’ve still got work to do. A lot of people might want to put the book down, but we’re going to fight like crazy to make this a special season. You’ve got to embrace the bad times too. That’s the only way to appreciate the good ones.”
Just a reminder of Fox’ words way back then that he completely disregarded when starting Orton only to make them look like words of wisdom when he finally started Tebow. Went from looking like an hypocrite to a smart man in just a little over a month:
On July 6 Fox said “I prefer a gamer to a good practice player. . . . I want someone who will execute under pressure in a game.”
Woody is telling us that Xanders quietly has been Tebow’s staunchest supporter at the franchise’s headquarters.
Didn’t really know that, interesting, so it means that he indeed he saw eye to eye with McD on personnel decisions rather than the rethoric that he always operated under the shackles of McD and bent to his views, because let’s make no mistake about it McD wanted to acquire Tebow and it was arguably the pick that required the most up and down trading ever in the draft to go get him, and Xanders orchestrated all that.
Until now I had always heard that Xanders was not hot on the Tebow pick, oh well, winning cures everything I guess.
And about these guys Woody tells us what we already knew:
Fox loves Tebow
Elway is not sure of anything yet
Bowlen declines to answer
Kiszla telling it as he sees it:
From Elway’s inability to trade Orton during training camp, which caused the Broncos to dump him and his salary much too late, hasn’t it become apparent that Denver doesn’t have a master plan at quarterback? The biggest blooper of Elway’s career was lining up behind guard Tom Glassic. Until now. A middle-aged NFL executive committed a huge rookie mistake and dropped the ball in the transition from Orton to Tebow.
Can’t say I didn’t go there myself many times:
Inexcusable that they couldn’t work out a trade for Orton before the
season.
Inexcusable that they started him for the first 5 games.
Inexcusable they did not just dump him by the trade deadline when it was apparent no one wanted him by then and would of saved 3.5 mil doing so.
But they finally did the better late than never thing that the organization has been so good at the last few years, they saved 2.6 mil thanks to the Chiefs after putting him up on waivers.
So yeah, I would definitely agree that Elway has a looong ways to go as an NFL executive and he has had absolutely zero clue as to what QB to go with and he still doesn’t, at least the ones on the roster. Hence the famous QQ.
And maybe all this not making any clear cut decisions on a QB all along is because he always thought our long term QB was not on the roster so he didn’t pay it the attention required.
Tebow, if you want the job long term you’re gonna have to sway Elway.
A funny moment from a DP blogger:
“Now that Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler is out with a broken thumb, Denver fans won’t be able to cheer as the Broncos try to maim him when Chicago comes to town. Hey, I know . . . maybe Cutler should shake hands with Tebow and the thumb will heal on the spot.”
Dennis, Aurora
On that lighter note
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the peaceful mornings here…..
Morning bay, GO BRONCOS, GO BRONCOS, GO, VON-DOOOM DAY AT THE BAY!!!!!!!!
All great stuff bay. On NFLN Bol Predictions.Marshall Faulk predicted that Tebow will rush for more yds than the Chargers whole team. Michael Irvin predicted Tebow will throw for 300 yds.
Bold Predictions**
Good stuff Bay.. I also think Elway’s decision is especially tough, b/c people are saying this draft class might be the best ever in terms of QB’s (not sure if I agree, but it is a good QB class for sure)… So, a big decision is even bigger, and the time is running out… Should be interesting, to say the least..
Gentlemen, Ladies, and multiple personality bloggers. Have you noticed that we still haven’t filled that 53rd spot? I know nobody wants to hear this, but TO is supposed to be very close to signing with an unknown team. If we were going to promote Weber we would have done so by now. We don’t have a veterans presence in our WR corps. I don’t know about ya’ll but I think we would sign him. He would be a great addition to us, if we can keep his mouth shut. lol Seriously though his work ethic and knowledge of the position can spread throughout. He can pick up our run heavy attack and I think he’d help Tim out a lot. Just a Thought, would also silence the critics that say we can bring in FA WR’s…
I am against us signing TOwens for every reason imaginable, however, if we do maybe we’ll get an inside look of the Broncos on his reality show….. LOL
I want to see Rivers on his ass more than his feet today. Go Orange Crush. Mr. Miller and Doom, get your batman and robin on, and meet at the quarterback often and with extreme prejudice.
TO will want to go to a pass heavy team not run heavy he would complain too much here. But i understand why you would like him here say what you want about him he is a great WR
That would make two 38 yr old on our team, one on O, one on D. So what would become the thought of some of you that it was a good thing to trade Lloyd because that gave us a chance to bring our WRs along? All signing T.O. would do is show that trading Lloyd was a mistake. Plus you really think if Lloyd wasn’t happy playing WR for Tebow, T.O. would be just fine with it? That would be a very questionable move at best if the triumvirate goes there. It would show no sense of direction at all, contradicting themselves to death.
I think the handling of the Orton/Tebow contradiction is enough for one year, LOL.
When a player is under contarct it’s all up to the team that has that player under contract, Xanders just chose to be nice to Lloyd was his doing.
To each his own.
Morning Bay!
How’d you call the game?
Anybody watching Countdown?
Story on the Denver D coming up after this commercial break!!!
I went SD 21-17
Ahhhhh yes…. ‘To the Dark you have gone me thinks… hmmm, The Tebow must grow on the this one, it must!’
VON TEBOW FOOTBALL!!!!
Happy Gameday Bay!
TO comming in would not be a problem. Of course that wuld only last as long as he is content just playing football again. I would still be against it though. I am thinking that they are being patient with the activating ps playrs at the moment due to an injury pending. Hate to imagine but it will happen, so if they keep options open, they could wait and make the move with no threat of losing the player after they become expandable.
Are we really going into SD with 52 active players???
You too, don’t worry I’ll be at the sports bar wearing my Bronco garb rooting for the Broncos to win with my Bronco buddies as in any other Sunday, just trying to get some points is all.
Yes 52, but it really doesn’t matter much since 6 will have to be made inactive anyway, I guess just one less to put on the inactive list, still a weird move waiting to fill it though.
Hmmm.. Good call, forgot about the inactive list for game day.. Any idea what we might do, or position of need?
BTW, Chargers wearing powder blue for the first time in quite a while today!
Ya I’m not gettin the 52 either. Why would you do anything short handed? I’d you’re allowed 53 players then have 53 players. No matter how small of an issue it is, it is an issue. No reason to not have a full roster. And TO? Really?? No way man.
I assume we’re wearing the all whites?
Ok it’s officially official again. This dude has got issues. BIG ONES
