Whenever you lose there’s always a lot of woulda, coulda, shouldas. I was disappointed because of how hard we worked throughout the week and our gameplan was perfect. I just hate losing. I’ve lost before in my career, and it’s not fun.
But how hard we took it just shows how much this team wants Ws. Whenever you play a sport like this, especially with the coaching staff we have, you should expect to win. One thing about individual accolades — sure, you can look good. But when you win, everybody looks good. Our main job is to make Coach Fox look as good as he is. That man deserves wins. He’s, what, the third active coach in wins? We want to get him to number one.
I’m going to tell you one thing about sports. When you play on the road, it shows you how much you really can do. It shows your ability. When you play at home, you feel comfortable. When you’ve got to play on the road in a hostile environment, that brings the most out of you. I love road games.
Of course that means I’m excited for this weekend in Green Bay all the more. You always want to surround yourself with the best, and they’re a great organization historically. It’s going to be a tough challenge for us.
First, I see how Aaron Rodgers makes great decisions. He’s a captain, he’s a leader, and he is just as good as advertised.
Second, hopefully we get guys back like Champ. I miss that dude. Seeing him on the sideline in Tennessee, he needs to be on the field. First of all, with an injury, he doesn’t have to come to away games. But he came anyway, and that just shows you the love of the game he has and the love he has for his teammates. Also I’m anxious for Elvis and everybody else who has been hurt to come back too.
I’m excited for this weekend. It’s gonna be a good one.
