8:59 P.M. MST: Quite possibly the most important quarter of this season to date … John Lynch is back in the game.
9:01 P.M. MST: Broncos get the third-down stop; Rob Bironas gets the 37-yard field goal. Broncos, 27-20.
9:04 P.M. MST: Well, here we go … Broncos need a clock-chewing possession here in the worst way.
9:05 P.M. MST: Impressive 10-yard scramble by Jay Cutler … gets past Keith Bulluck into the open field … and a great block by Cecil Sapp to make the last few yards of the run unimpeded.
9:07 P.M. MST: Well, Andre Hall said he might make a big play this week … As he said Thursday afternoon, “I think this might be the week” … Well, he didn’t expect it on the ground; he expected it on a kickoff return, but he did break one … Welcome to the spotlight, young No. 23.
9:11 P.M. MST: Hall’s touchdown was the longest scoring run for a Bronco since Javon Walker at Pittsburgh last year … and for those of us who keep up with South Florida football, didn’t we all see a run like that coming?
9:16 P.M. MST: A vital three-and-out for the Broncos … Now the Broncos take over, and they’re going to start pounding Hall … he carries twice for six yards on the drive … but gets hurt on the second carry … now Selvin Young, with a sprained knee, is back in on third-and-4 … and Brandon Marshall took the third-down reception and went backwards. Broncos now in fourth-and-17
9:18 P.M. MST: Todd Sauerbrun’s punt eventually gets downed at the Denver 20, but the Titans will start at the 10 after a personal-foul penalty.
9:22 P.M. MST: Tim Crowder finally gets the sack on his old college temamate … Titans now in second-and-25 after a 15-yard loss, standing at their 27 … Clock ticking, down towards the seven-minute mark … Young quickly steps up to find Eric Moulds for 18 … Third-and-7 now upcoming for the Titans … Young scrambles for it and gets it.
9:24 P.M. MST: Vince Young is the reason why the Titans are still in this game … the clock ticking down, the odds against him … this just seems like his kind of moment. It’s what scares you when you’re looking at this through the Broncos prism … also, we’re seeing a lot of Domonique Foxworth at safety on this series; Lynch is in pads and in helmet, but on the sidelines.
9:26 P.M. MST: Young looks for Eric Moulds … but Dre’ Bly ends up with the football … A 16-yard return follows…. Bly did a nice job playing the football … Huge takeaway.
9:27 P.M. MST: Hall back in … I think Woody Hayes would have loved this fellow; he’s a three-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust kind of power back, and he can burrow for some tough yards in traffic.
9:29 P.M. MST: Selvin Young spells Hall on third down; he picks up four yads on the reception. Hall returns for the next play.
9:34 P.M. MST: Titans take over at their 15 … Hall now at 89 yards on seven carries tonight; 62 on the touchdown run and 27 more on six other carries … Hall and Selvin Young have combined for 143 yards on 21 carries; not too shabby.
9:37 P.M. MST: Interception, Ian Gold … two-minute warning … Titans out of timeouts … That’s game; Broncos will be tied for first place in the AFC West at 5-5.

“Broncos will be tied for first place in the AFC West at 5-5″
not sure if I should laugh, rejoice or cry.
kooblis, it’s great that we scored quickly, but the D then still has a job to do.
If THEY force 3 and out, they can rest all they want and make the offense stay on the field.
They give out first downs like candy on halloween. That’s what’s been kicking our ass all season.
We’re back in the race for the playoffs!
I am very happy that the absolute stupidity related to the inappropriate use of time outs did not manage to bite us in the ass.
This game SHOULD have been 34 to 10.
Coaching staff dodged a bullet this time, problem is, on NATIONAL TV with no “more competitive” games to switch to, the whole country saw that bit of retardedness.
Even worse, the talking heads in the booth were actually right for once.
Still not sure whether to cheer, laugh or cry about that 5-5 record being good enough to tie for first in the AFC West.
I’m going to go have a drink. All you Bronco fans enjoy the win!
Andrew, thanks for the blogging space.
Yeah us South Florida Bulls fans knew that all Andre Hall needed was a chance. Hopefully he can work himself into the line up.
I told ya andre would break one tonight! Im buying his jersey! He’s gonna be in the ring of fame.
ANDRE HALL PLAYER OF THE GAME! HE NEEDS 2 B RETURNING PUNTS ALSO!
My Broncos, I’m so proud of you!!! I knew that Andre Hall was going to break out one of these weeks. When the Broncos play like this, they’re hard for anyone to beat and who knows, we may get a shot at the a-hole Pats. Of course, as Bill Belichick knows, Mike Shanahan is his superior in both class and execution, so the Pats had best beware if it comes down to that. Vince Young made his plays, but that’s primarily because of his excellence. Even when an opponent has success against us, it’s exciting to watch especially if he’s a class act like VY. Speaking of class acts, how about the Broncos taking a knee after Ian Gold’s interception to seal the game. If that was Belichick, he would have tried to hit a go route downfield, jerk. Oh well, I’d much rather win in class the right way. Jeff Fisher is a great gentleman and he took the loss with dignity. Still, great job to get the win BRONCS!!!
its been so long since special yteams have been anything but terrible…it sure was nice to see a return TD tonight
also Cutler did a good job, and the O Line dominated with rushing holes and keeping Cutler protected
Young slang the ball around on our D, but we kept the big plays out of the game
Im riding high right now, Go Broncos
Hopefully this game serves as the stepping stone to bigger and better things. If the Bronco’s offense can play like this for the rest of the year we can hopefully hit the playoffs hot and mabye even pick up a win or two while there. Of course the Broncos probably can’t beat the Patriots and the playoffs are still a long way off so the next couple of weeks will decide if Denver can keep the season alive.
Great game, great victory , the Broncos are back on track and all the fans believe again .Nothing’s done but there’s hope again in broncos country . from the other side of the atlantic ocean , i wore my orange pride color all day long and it payed out !!!!GO BRONCOS !!!
I knew the board would be full of this stuff this morning…Like Chris Rock said, “You never been to jail? YOU NOT SUPPOSED to go to jail, whadda ya want a COOKIE?”
LPP SAYS “Jay Cutler wins a game in Denver, Jay and the BRONCOS are SUPPOSED to win in Denver, whadda ya want a cookie?”
This was the only option. Anything else meant season over. Good effort all around. They still need to protect Cutler better, but if they can avoid mistakes their schedule is mostly easy pickings from here. They can win the West provided they get revenge on San Diego.
Speaking of that did anyone see Shawne Merriman get PLOWED on the block by Maurice Jones-Drew this weekend? Man that was hilarious.
Man LPP you woke up in a bad mood this morning! Let’s see some POSITIVITY! TURN THAT FROWN UPSIDE DOWN!!!
Now that was a game!! just flat out GREAT to see our team back on track, and no matter what kind of BRONCOS fan you are, seeing Cutler with a 137 rating is just awesome. The D stepped up and got the job done, and the offense just flat out ROCKED, just goes to show how well our team plays when they pull together. It looks like while most teams are disintegrating with injuries the BRONCOS are just getting started and have a really good chance at taking the AFC west, gotta love it. GO BRONCOS
That game was awesome Broncos.. I loved watching you kick butt on Monday Night Football!
11 – 5 broncos??
i saw the block on Meriman …..lights out ……
Now THAT was the Jay Cutler we want to see. If Shanny will remove the handcuffs and let Jay roll out and chuck the ball downfield a little more often, we will have a devastating offense when Javon gets back. Great win against a quality opponent!! Ian Gold, that pick almost makes up for the 4-5 “whiffs” you had on Vince last night.
Yes, LPP. Give the Broncos a GD cookie.
speaking of jail, I thought LPP had been picked up for stalking and had his psychopathic and sycophantic ass thrown in jail.
LPP, no comment on Cutler’s stats? His QB rating? Or are you still down in the dumps about that restraining order Jake had his attorneys file against you?
Why don’t you tell us how your hero would have been even more impressive or how he was never appreciated or whatever your rant is this week.
Jake had his ten years in the NFL and never got beyond mediocre, even with great players on offense and a defense that bailed his ass out when he threw the bonehead passes that he did so frequently and a coach who tried to help him improve. Cutler is playing better than Jake ever did and his career is just starting. Is he perfect? No, he’s not but even the most rabid Cutler hater has to admit he put together a really good game last night. And he played well last week too.
Yeah, the Broncos are supposed to win and Cutler is their best option for winning now. And the he’s not going to retire at the end of the year.
Jake aint retired, y’all are fools to believe that. He will be back next year, and the only game that will matter is when he leads some crappy team over the Broncos 2x in one year! HA!
In other news, JAKE PLUMMER beat the almighty New England Patriots in the playoffs….what has Cutler done lately…
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone!

“YAWN” same rant same lack of coherent thought.
