- Broncos inactives: Wide reciever Todd Devoe, safety Hamza Abdullah, running back Cedric Cobbs, linebacker Nate Webster, offensive linemen Chris Kuper and Adam Meadows, tight end Nate Jackson and newly acquired defensive end Kenny Peterson.
- NBC’s Andrea Kremer is on the field wearing a red topcoat. I would impugn her, but as a former Floridian, I am a weather wimp, wearing a heavy leather jacket a couple of nights ago when it was in the upper 50s. The officiating crew, led by Jeff Triplette, is clad in shirtsleeves. Nevertheless, it is a gorgeous night in the Mile High City, made even more pleasant by the comparison to the rotten, damp conditions of six nights ago.
- Steve Watson and Fred Biletnikoff shared a chat at the 43-yard-line. I wonder how many tips the two former Pro Bowlers could exchange?
- Was it just a matter of time before someone pulled Pittsburgh’s Troy Polamalu down by his hair?
- Maybe it’s just me, but the music that NBC uses coming in and out of breaks during Football Night in America sounds like the dramatic tune that the network’s news division uses for its special reports when it breaks into regularly-scheduled programming.
