The inactives are in, and Daunte Culpepper is out.
Oakland’s first-team quarterback is one of the team’s eight inactives due to the quadriceps injury that kept him out of practice on Friday. Josh McCown, who started earlier this season — including at Denver in Week 2 — is expected to start, but most here at the McAfee Coliseum are pregnant with anticipation over the possibility of JaMarcus Russell making his debut. He hasn’t played at all as a professional — not even in the preseason, because of a holdout.
On the Broncos’ side of things, Javon Walker will play, while Glenn Martinez is sidelined. Both had been listed as questionable after Friday’s practice.
Joining Martinez on the sidelines will be running back Andre Hall, fullback Mike Bell, cornerback Jeff Shoate, offensive lineman Isaac Snell, defensive ends Larry Birdine and Paul Carrington and quaterback Darrell Hackney, who is listed as the No. 3 quarterback.

Thanks for the updates!!
What is best : a healthy McCown or an injured Culpepper ?I’m glad Culpepper is’nt a full health like he was back in Minnesota . As for Russel , if he starts , i don’t see him have a good day considering the lack of expĂ©rience , then all we’ll have to do is stop the run . Hopefully he’ll come him to replace an inefficient McCown when the raiders will be down by ….say 30 !
