again play the kids on the d-line, 3 of the 4 draft picks were used to improve the pass rush, these guys were getting pressure and forcing turnovers against pittsburg why the did not play on monday i dont understand, so on obvious passing situations i want to see dumervill and moss at the ends, thomas and crowder at the tackles and let them go get the quarterback enough said!!!!!

Plummer was a scrub. Thank God he's gone. We won games despite Plummer, not because of him. Cutler at least gives us a chance to win games.

Anyone know what he's 2 minute drill QB rating is compared to his overall? Andrew?

LPP: I don't know where you get your facts from. Everybody says Cutler was a bad choice over Plummer? I think you are out of things to say against Jay and making up things out of your dreams. I talk to lots of other NFL fans in my country and about 1% of them thinks what you say.

In his years Plummer had almost no injury problems in the team, he had an NFL top5 defense backing him up and he still was a mediocre QB. Jay has a banged up team with really bad defensive playcalling and he still can find a way to give the team a chance to win!

Please look at John Elways first year. Do you think that putting him on the field was a bad idea?

I am absolutly sure, that Jay will prove people like you (luckily you are a really small minority) wrong. In my eyes he already has proved he is a good QB and will be a big star in the years to come, but I see that whatever he does, it doesn't matter to idiots like you.

THE ENTIRE world except for BRONCO fans at this point, realizes SHANAHAN made the WRONG decision............it's been proven for an entire year now, and unfortunately it looks to be proven for a few more years.

FOR ALL THE PEOPLE THAT DON"T EVER GET OUT OF THIS BLOG: FROM ESPN: (can't say it any better) JAKE WE MISS YOU!

“What exactly is the plan in Denver? Last Thanksgiving, the Broncos were 7-4, had a highly ranked defense and held the inside track to win their division. Then Mike "The Ultimate Leader" Shanahan showed the door to Jake Plummer and began making wholesale changes in the defense, including firing the defensive coordinator. Since that moment, the Broncos are 5-7, and their defense has plummeted to 25th. Denver's 5-7 mark in that span is actually worse than it sounds because the Broncos have played eight of the 12 games at home, where the altitude advantage gives Denver the league's best home record since the merger. In those eight home dates with Cutler as the starter, Denver is only 3-5. The second half of the season looks like a sticky wicket (note: After the London game, beware of cricket terms sneaking into football) because the Broncos already have played five home games versus only two road dates; the remainder of their schedule features three home games versus six away. Thus, Denver already has squandered its homefield advantage for the 2007 season and stands 3-4.”

Shannahan has never really been a coach. It was easy during the Elway years, u knew Elway could get you there with just a lil hint of talent around him.. Now he has to actually do some coachin and dat genius thing is not working out is it! Someone came up with a genius of an idea of a 5-2 defense. We need to try something becuz Webster should not be a startin linebacker for a NFL team. We have a thousand d-lineman and basically one linebacker. We have the highest paid cornerback tandem in the league, and two good ones if you count Foxworth(paid and gave up way too much for Bly). Heres an idea, y not let them play wrs strait up and lets get pressure on da qb. For the kind of money they are gettin paid it only makes sense to me. You dont pay corners this kind of $$ to play soft zone coverages in crucial situations. Again, the first incompletion Favre had in the 2nd half came on 2nd down and we were in a press man coverage and what do we do? Let him convert the 3rd down by comin back and playin a soft zone. WoW!!!! We overpay players we dont need to, and then let legends like Trevor Pryce go to a great defense like da Ravens. If these are the results we get from a genius then I welcome someone who is not as smart becuz it cant be all the D-coordinators weve had over the years fault becuz supposedly each one was known to make defenses better until they get to Denver. The only constant is the genius of a head coach.
