I enjoyed how you and I were probably the biggest fans pushing for his return babe! But it seems as if some other people were ready to jump on with us, they just were with the other Ryan. Maybe we SHOULD"Consider Clady" I believe it was Jim that said that first! Am I right?

I have been watching films from your college days as well as your combine and pro day and i will admit for a big back you have great footwork, hands and moves but i noticed you lack that speed to hit holes as fast you you would probley like so as the running backs coach and the conditionaire been working on your speed or do you think it will improve as you hit nfl fittness standards

Just going to say hope you come back with no problems and when you play Oakland hopfully this year prove to the whole nfl that you are a better back then Mcfadden by running over everyone in your way we all know you can do it.

hey ryan im adam ive seen all your highlights available and i have a lot of faith in you i was wondering if you have any opinions on how highly you are thought of not only by the fans but by the coaches as well to make the roster with an injury and all? i believe you are the running back this team needs in a stacked running back division like the afc west. if you look at all the other backs in the division they are big solid runners and thats what you are so go be a star. goodluck to you my friend

1) I know this kind of puts you on the spot but who is the best blocking WR on our roster after Marshall?

2) How is Josh Barrett doing? He slipped down the draft boards because of work ethic concerns. Does he spend extra time after practice working on his craft? Is this a unfair judgment on him? He has the body, speed talent it seems to be the next Safety to get the torched passed to him I just don't see the fire in his eyes..do you? Since the Safety position is a corner in coverage and a LB in the box wouldn't it be smart to work with Champ on say Tuesdays and Thursdays just on Coverage and work with DJ Wednesday and Friday on Tackling even if it is for just a half hour? Can you please pass the question to him?

3) Next question is similar but a different position. I find it absolutely mind blowing that punters don't spend time practicing tackling and getting off blocks. I wrote a post on the Punter completion and said that I though Kern could get the job because he wasn't scared to stick his nose in there and help make a tackle. With the most kickoff returns for touchdowns last season I would think that this is very important to have all 11 guys ready to make the tackle. After I wrote that post Sam P made a great Tackle on Pac Man and I heard he asked Capp for help with technique 10 minutes before the play. It was a great tackle especially for a punter and honestly is also was the first time I wrote a post and felt it was read by a player used which was awesome! Please pass this on to Kern if you would be so kind.

4) My last question is strictly for the Torain Tank. You are your own runner so the compression to T.D. show a extreme level of respect you have earned and deserve from your hard work everyone talks about. I hate to quote Oprah but my girl loves her show and I like the quote. She always says “God can dream a bigger dream then you could dream for your self.” The reason why I say this is because T.D. was a amazing runner but you could be even better than the great T.D. I think part of the reason he was so successful was from these attributes. 1) He was a slasher with enough speed to get to the outside. I think what is the huge difference with the Broncos run game since TD and Alex Gibbs left is that the early runs where toss’s and stretch plays where the RB took it all the way outside and get positive yardage even if it was only 3,4,5 yards. This is what sets up the cut back. Once you go outside and win then the Linebackers over commit and there is a huge hole for the cut back. I’m sure the broncos would set you up with the DVDs so you can watch 1996, 1997, 1998 which was the years that put zone blocking and the cut back on the map and compare it to 2006, 2007. The runners go for the cut back first and don’t set up the Linebackers. I hope this is the second post that a player reads and looks into it. Thank you for your time! I think you could be the next Running back to achieve the dream that god dreamed for you.

1. nickmeyer, he isnt an injury prone he just has injuries. are champ or marshall or cutler injury prones? NO, they are human, it happens.

2. Good luck with the injury Ryan. Hopefully its gets good so u can run people over ASAP.

Ryan,
If you score a touchdown this year and I think you will. Can you bring back the Mile Hi Salute!? Terrell Davis used to do it and it led to Super Bowls. Study about Chi Energy, and I'm telling you that it generates an energy that leads to Super Bowls. PLEASE I MEAN PLEASE HELP BRING BACK THE SALUTE!!! I bought tickets to the last game of the season in San Diego and I hope that we are saluting our AFC West championship.
