talk about fair weather...

Has it occured to anyone that maybe last Saturday's game meant more to the Cowgirls than it did to the Broncos? After all, Wade Phillips IS trying to instill fan confidence and support for his team during his tenure as Cowboys head coach.

I see that game and the way Dallas came out blitzing like it was a playoff game, as Wade Phillips' politician moment, to sway support from people who lack confidence in him as a head coach. After all, they pasted the Colts PSWeek 1 & the Broncos in PSWeek 2. They look like world beaters now, but then again so did the Raiders last PS, where they went 4-1. A preseason record good enough to win the mother of all franchise prizes, the #1 DRAFT PICK.

Dallas @ best is a 10-6 team (easily playoff bound in a weaker NFC division). The Broncos will do much better than that one PS game come Regular Season and I guarantee they finish with a record better than the Cowboys.

San Francisco might even finish with more wins than the Cowboys because of their rising talent and depth at key positions. Dallas only has one great backup, and that's Marion Barber (who should be starting IMO). Anyone in a key position other than RB goes down for them and they lost 2-3 games on that front ALONE.

That's a scary prospect for ANY team to have.

GO BRONCOS (stay healthy)

Yes!! I agree

I think the defense is the worst I have ever seen in Denver. I don’t think its about a new system if you DONOT blitz now and then to throw the other team off, then you’ll get no pressure from the Defense and CAN NOT expect the D-line to do it all. The Defensive coach needs to adjust the defense during the game to account for offensive changes. Blitzing from outside or inside, or even fake a blitz, deception works too

I think the defence played soft and looked as though they had glue on there jerseys when trying to get of blocks. I also feel like the d line has to step up more and get more of a push up the middle, even before the trade of warren the lack of a consistent push in the middle was there and no matter who you have in the secondery without a strong front 4 there will be alot of pass yards given up by the d. i would also like to ad poor fundamental tackling by the linebackers is not going to help much. By the way there is a complete lb on the market by the name of jeramiha Trotter, someone in the organazation should give him a CALL.

BroncoJohn has it right. We need to be worried about the injuries in pointless games and not lose sight of the effort one team put together to win in preseason.

I'll feel better when the opposing QB is picking turf out of his helmet though. The corners will have better opportunities for ints then.

#27hitsokoye, great ID. I still remember that hit.
