It feels good to finally be on the right track as a football team. Obviously we’ve got a long way to go this season and we’ve had some rough times, but I’m really proud of this team and the strides we’ve made.
One of the most exciting things about us starting to win and play well is less and less negative blog responses and I imagine there will be a lot of people jumping on the Broncos bandwagon on the blog and a lot less haters, which is fine by me. I’d like to officially welcome everybody back to Broncos Country, and those that never left Broncos Country, thanks for supporting us.
Like I said, our team is still not as good as it can be and it’s not as good as it’s going to be because we’re still going to work hard and I know with the leadership we have on this team there will be no complacency. We’ve only had a two-game winning streak, but fortunately that was enough to get us back into first place of our division and be able to control our own destiny which is important.
As far as the playoffs are concerned, last night’s game I think was really a reflection on the character this team has. The past couple weeks have been a look at what we thought this team was going to be coming into the season and we’re starting to become. Still, clearly there are a lot of things we need to work on offensively and defensively.
Our special teams are finally since I’ve been here, probably the first time since I’ve been here, our special teams are headed in the right direction. We still are not perfect yet obviously and never will be but we still have some areas we need to clean up on the special teams. I think overall we had pretty good coverage and scored our first special teams touchdown this season, which is great, and Glenn Martinez’s first touchdown ever in the history of his life, which is pretty cool also.
Lots of young guys stepping up is great. Glenn was one of those guys and Andre Hall. On defense there’s been kind of a large infusion of youth and talent with our young defensive linemen and players like Hamza Abdullah just stepping up and making plays when it’s needed.
Vince Young is a very impressive player — a great athlete. Despite the fact that we knew he was a good running quarterback, he still found ways to run the ball and make plays. I think Vince Young and the Titans deserve a lot of credit. They have a very good football team, which makes the win even more sweet, and it was on Monday night. It’s always fun to play on Monday night.
Thanksgiving’s approaching. It’s one of the best holidays, Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is great. It gives you an excuse to eat a bunch of food and sit around with family. This is my first Thanksgiving since I’ve been a Bronco because we’ve been playing on Thanksgiving for the last couple of years. I’m really excited about actually getting to have Thanksgiving with my family. Throughout college it was hard because we always had a game and I never had time to go home and see my family during Thanksgiving, so this is my first legitimate Thanksgiving in quite some time. I’m excited about that and of course all the food. One of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving is playing games with your family, board games and things like that, because I’m better then them and I get to win. I enjoy winning and dominating my family at board games.
Mr. Jay Cutler, our quarterback, had a tremendous game. I also think it was cool that he was matched up with Vince Young. I don’t think he had more yards than Vince but he definitely outplayed him with scoring and managing his team since they came out the first year and Vince was like the first quarterback taken. Jay didn’t go ’til the teens of the first round. We got the good end of that deal.
I never get all my holiday shopping done early, but most of it’s already done. I buy everything that I want for myself and anything I can’t buy that I want, nobody else can buy for me.
I got to catch up with some old friends of mine before and after the game. It’s always better talking to your old friends who are currently on other NFL teams after you win. I went to college with Randy Starks, one of their defensive lineman. Vinny Fuller and Eric King are guys on their team who I grew up with. We grew up in the same area and they’re both defensive backs just like myself, so it’s good to see them. And Keith Bulluck is a friend of mine from the Harvard Business School that is offered through the NFL Players Association, so it was fun to see them and talk to them.
Before the draft, the year I came out, the Titans had me in for a visit, so I met all their coaches and a lot of the staff there. They ended up selecting Adam Jones, better known as Pacman, and they drafted Reynaldo Hill also before the Broncos drafted me in the third round. It was extra sweet to see all those guys and see all the coaches that I met.
As I alerted everybody before, the Blogmaster has retired from mastering Domonique Foxworth’s blog and he moved on to doing something for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so we’re all proud of him for moving up in the world, but he will be missed.
I’m pretty busy normally on Tuesdays on a day off, and since we have a short week I’m going to be even more busy. I have the radio show tonight and I think I’m going to cancel this week’s writing class. We’ve had some pretty good writing classes recently. They’re kind of up and down though, because the kids are in school and don’t always feel like doing a ton of writing. It’s always quality writing, but it’s not always a lot. Sometimes it’s hard for them to focus and stuff, so I think the week off from writing class might be good and it’ll give me some extra time to do my radio show and prepare for the coming game.
I also have some sort of shop with the Broncos thing, or shop with a Bronco, that Dick’s Sporting Goods approached the Broncos about. That will be nice during the holiday season.
Thanks everybody. All ready!

Great game Fox. Congrats on the win.
Great game Fox,
I was able to come cheer the team on and had a great time! Wish I could go to every game, but at least I got to go to one.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Nice one foxy, i still prefer to see you at nickel rather than Paymah, but i guess filling in for a not 100% John Lynch on some downs is very important. Never had the chance to get this high so i will ask a quick question – It says on the site you were born in Oxford, England, is this true? I myself was born there, a town called ‘Wantage’ near Oxford United FC’s ground. Im now a Manc (people from Manchester), but still would be awesome to say im from same place as an NFL player, especially a Bronco!
Hey Fox!!,
Nice game you all played very well.Is Travis Henry out for just that game or how long is he out? Do u think we have a good shot at makin the playoffs? Well ttyl!
Good game Foxy, don’t get too distracted over the week, you still have to gameplan and prepare for the Bears because this is no gimme game. It might be a trap.
Just a big THANKS GUYS to our BRONCOS team for bringing this one home. I can’t tell you how good it feels to see you guys come together on the field and make us all proud to be BRONCOS fans. Hope to see more of it as we take control of the AFC West. GO BRONCOS
congrats on the win! it was so exciting!!! YAY
Happy Thanksgiving! i cant wait till sunday against the bears! GOOD LUCK!
GO BRONCOS!!
-PARIS (#1 BRONCO FAN!!!!!)
Yeah great game guys you looked great out there last night. This season could get interesting still. Everybody else in our Div is awful and least we have some class. GO BRONCOS!!!
Good game Fox! I told you the winnin woudl be back soon. You guys played a heck of a game and I only expect it to continue! Have a happy Thanksgiving and put the BEATDOWN ON CHCAGO sunday!
YES! Bronco football, that’s what I was talking about!! I love seeing it, I have seats just above the home tunnel, and made sure to wait and applaud you for your great play and leadership. I don’t know what you all did to fix the problems, but keep it up, and win the division!
Fox,
I love the intensity the team brought to the field these last two weeks. I could tell you guys were having fun. Keep it up. Don’t let down the guy next to you. If you all have each others back and pull together the score will take care of itself.
Good luck in Chicago!
Jim Kennedy
Dominique,
Great Job this week! It’s certainly easier to read the blog coming off of a win!
God Bless
Amazing game last night. I am so happy with the way the entire team has played these last 2 weeks. Lets keep it up!!!
Happy Thanksgiving & Good Luck in Chicago on Sunday!!!
Go Broncos!

Thanks for taken the time to blog, make sure Andre Hall gets more tic. All Ready!
Hey man, I’m excited that you are gonna get some quality time with the family this Thanksgiving. I know you’re a Bronco full-time, but being a family guy full time is even bigger. God bless on this Thanksgiving. Enjoy. Don’t let the turkey coma slow you down
Domonique,
I’m proud of all of you. Please continue this excellence and be ready to crush the Bears like you will that turkey this Thanksgiving. Chicago’s defense is porous and their offense can easily be neutralized if we play up to our potential. The division’s ours for the taking!
Chop tips cap for your academic achievements.
Have a great turkey day !
That’s great you get to spend a Thanksgiving with your family!
And as for writing class, if I got to go to a writing class and you were there I wouldn’t even care how much writing I had to do!
haha
I also wish I was in Denver to meet all you guys!
Good luck against the Bears! Make Grossman look bad
Have a good Thanksgiving and good luck against the Bears.
First off great game Fox and I want to congratulate you on the job you have done of playing safety! I mujst say I do have an alterior motive here though. I recently volunteered to become a Denver Sports Buddy and noticed not a lot of involvement form the Denver Broncos. I know that you have excelled in your life not only on the field but off of it as well and I thought that someone of your character would be a great role model for kids that are trying to find themelves. If you think it might work email me at jon.leines@sm-acdc.com. Good Job last week I was in row 13 cheering on the Donkeys….make Grossman wish they left him on the bench!!
Foxx Roxx!!!
Our secondary is looking stellar back there.
I really like the duo between YOU and HAMZA. Both of you guys are FAST and FURIOUS. I love it!
Our defense will be lock down, lights out – when the opposition abandons the run and tries to play catch-up.
It feels a lot like the Elway led Super Bowl Champion teams. Prolific offense with a QB that can put up 40+ points. Hardcore Defense that can keep a team under 10 points.
Keep up the good work Foxxy, nothing but love from the Broncos fans in the LBC!
Great job to all of the team the past two games! Glad to hear that you get to spend time with your families for the holiday-not something us fans really think about. You guys work your butts off to give us a good game to watch and that takes away from time spent with family during holidays. So, hope the holidays are great for everyone! Happy Thanksgiving
Hey Fox,
Beautiful win! Congratulations to you and the rest of the boys. You guys are really looking good.
I saw an interview with Rod Smith during the game and he stated that you guys had an “all players” meeting and really had a chance to hash some things out. I have to tell you, and everyone can see, it made a huge difference! You guys are playing good football….
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the rest of your family. My prayers go out to the Williams and Nash families. I pray for their strength during the holiday season.
Enjoy your time with the family! And don’t eat too many chittlins’. LOL!!!
Best of luck next week in Chicago.
All Ready!

Dom,
It is great to see you guys pulling it together. The win on Mon was Offensively great and Defensively stable. As you said, you guys still have a ways to go, but you as long as the team realizes this and continues t improve I like your chances.
I’m sure it helps that there are fewer negative comments in here, but rest assured that just because some of us have been critical of you guys this does not mean that we ever left Broncos Country, the true fans never leave. A word of wisdom for you “Only a fool believes everything he is told”.
Rest up, enjoy the Holiday and get out there and keep working like the past few weeks. with our schedule we only have to play like we have been and we will cruise to the playoffs.
That win on Monday nite was as complete of a win I have seen from the Broncos all season. That was the team I saw at training camp. Welcome back! I literally could not stop smiling thru the game. I felt like an idiot but it was just THAT good
I have a youtube clip for you! You might have seen it already but its still funny either way. http://youtube.com/watch?v=4y-waHLz-TU
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Fox! Take it easy on your family tho.
Remember you can have pretty much whatever you want to eat, as long as its done in moderation. I’m a nutrition major
I’ll look forward to seeing the old Broncos back in action Sunday.
Great Game Fox!!!
It’s starting to come together and hopefully we can keep it rolling, this team is finally reaching a little bit of its potential, but the skies the limit. Keep up the good work, Im always behind you guys 100%, whether youre up or down, but it’s great when youre up and im proud of the boys in blue. Great job fox, good luck in CHICAGO!! P.S. i had some serious trouble getting tickets for me and my girlfriend for the bears game, so you should tell the boys that a win will be extra sweet to show all the chicago fans that their ticketing system is bogus and to give me some braggin rights over my girlfriend, she’s a bears fan, GO BRONOCOS!!! Good Luck! All Ready 27/29
Shill-
p.s. GO MIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BEAT KU!!!!!!!
Hey Fox,
For once I really dont have that much to say other than Great Job, and have a Happy Thanksgiving.
I’ve been watching the Broncos all season long and supporting them through the good games and the rough losses. I must say that this game on Monday was one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time – a real classy effort from both sides. Just seeing the QB’s and coaches great each other so thoughtfully at the end, both teams played well and that’s what made it such a good football game.
It was so exciting to see the Broncos make those big plays! I’m so happy for Glenn and Andre – with their big scores! And to see the fans loud and proud and giving the Broncos THEIR best, well, it was quite a great night to be a Broncos fan.
Yes, it’s about time you got Thanksgiving off Foxy! Enjoy it!
Lisa
All Ready!!
Fox ! Another win ! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I can’t wait for Sunday. Let’s keep on track and get them Bears. I hope you get an interception soon. Thank god that the Titans didn’t pick you up bro. I was supporting you through that slump and I always will I am only 16 but I am getting our logo on my arm this summer with my moms permission. I want to come to Denver to watch you guys in training camp pre-season or the regular season sometime within the next 2 years. Thats cool that you Fuller and King grew up in the same area and all made it.How about MNF John Lynch’s return !!! You are consistent week in and week out. Ian had a great game. Dre’ had perfect coverage on that WR and VY just threw a great pass but how bout B-Marsh and the Slot Machine. Glenn scored our first PR for a TD in I think 4 or 5 years.Hamza is doing great back there and Champ is Champ. Jay is really improving. Tim Crowder is looking fantastic. I love it our season s going in the right direction. Lets keep rollin.
ALL READY !!!
dude long time reader first time writer ure a great corner its my fav position please man u gotta stick around.ure gonna get ure first interception against rex grossman just watch lates
Excellent game, y’all! I was supporting a friend at a performance for most of the game (wearing my Broncos tie at the event, of course), but I was ecstatic when I came home and found that we were up 27-20!
Speaking as one of those who is eternally Bronco faithful, I’m really excited to see y’all back on the right track.
You are so right in saying that y’all have a lot of character – you just had to prove it to yourselves first.
Happy Thanksgiving.
I’m thankful for my family – and in particular my brother, who’s home for Thanksgiving from the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
I’m also thankful for Jay Cutler. Deion Sanders was saying some negative things about him in Week 2…and I know he was wrong – and know everyone else knows that he was wrong.
Mile High Salute, Broncos.
First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
What a great game on Monday. I was there as always and I love cheering on my Broncos.
Good luck in Chicago. I know this team can bring us home another win! I hope you can get a interception for us!
Take care and enjoy the holiday!
Foxworth,
Monday Nights game had to have been the best I have seen you guys this season. Everyone was geling and working together it was great. Jay had an amazing game I was excited for him and the whole team for a big win on Monday Night.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, and dont eat too much turkey!
Ashley
“One of the most exciting things … is less and less negative blog responses and … a lot less haters, which is fine by me.”
Good point Fox, I only found this place (blog) 6-7 weeks ago, and already the WINNING by the Broncos seems to have instituted “Disneyland Syndrome” around here – The Happiest Blog on Earth! Which is fine by me!
Monday night was awesome (as everyone already said) but I think the TItans loss of Haynesworth kind of evened up the lines, after we’ve lost our fair share of O-linemen through the season!
The main advantage we had, was that we’ve been without our guys for a few weeks, so high5 to Myers for settling in and doing a great job replacing our Pro-Bowl center. (Our o-linemen never get the love they deserve anyway!)
That’s all, good luck in Chi-town this week with Berryman and the Bears, winning on the road wil preserve “Disneyland Syndrome” around here, but losing could turn it into “Euro-Disney Syndrome” – still (mostly) happy but with a dark/disturbing French streak to it!
GO BRONCOS!
I missed the Monday night game, but I was told that I should be ashamed to even admit that I did, because I really missed a great game. I am so happy that things have turned around for you guys, because you deserve it!
I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I can relate to your longing for a “real” Thanksgiving, because I haven’t had a real Thanksgiving in a while either. I had Thanksgiving with the Broncos in Dallas in 05 and for the past two turkey days, I have been studying hard for law school final exams. So it’s nice to see that one day, I too will get a break.
I won’t get to watch the Broncos for the next two weeks, but I will be cheering for you in spirit until these hell weeks are over. After then, I will be cheering well into the “post season”! Keep up the good work that you and the team continue to exhibit. GO BRONCOS!
congarts to the maryland terps for winning today!
hope you had a good thanksgiving!
GO BRONCOS!
Happy late Thanksgiving to my Broncos Family! Dom, I think all these people are great. For the most part, there’s nothing but love here. I mean, one guy uses the name, “foxworthisastud”. I have no words for that one. And there’s this other person’s blog I’ll always read. I think she’s just a little girl. She’s very enthusiastic and always positive. I just ruv her.
Well its days past, and I’m still excited about that win. It is this blog, I tell you. I’ve always found that I care more about a game if I know someone playing. And for the Broncos, we’ve got you Dom. We kind of know you, right? Yet its not just you. You do a great job of telling us about the whole team.
Speaking of knowing someone, I went to high school with one of the Titans players. He missed some clutch plays. I felt so bad for him. Although, my mom reminded me that he was sort of a jerkface back then. I had forgotten. He was nice to me, but gotta stand by my mom (and the Broncos).
Speaking of high school, mine lost in the 5A football finals. sad.
Oh my goodness, I have a black eye! Bwahahahahahah!! It’s awesome! Dom you’d be so proud. I got it playing touch football with my friends. Yes, I said touch. On top of that, I got it from this dainty little princess bombshell. Man, she took me out.
This beat a couple of weeks ago, when I got snipped in the face by a volleyball. Twice. The first one was bad, but after the second, I just sat there waiting for my nose to start bleeding. Hilarious!
This week it will be easy to cheer for the Broncos. I have a group of friends who meet every Sunday, here in Denver, with their Bears jerseys on. This time I’m gonna show up and stir it up a lil’. For you, Dom.
Shilly88, babe you got your wish. And prettypetite, I feel your pain lady. If I was watching football on Sunday in college, I was not doing what I should. Studying! All day, everyday. Keep it up girl. It pays off, I swear.
So Dom, have you ever watched R Kelly’s Hip Hopera? It hurts a little at first, and afterwards you feel like you lost a few precious moments of life. But some where along the way, it feels so right.
Yeah, well, my Chicago friends are meeting pretty soon, so I’d better go warm up and stretch.
Much Love everybody. Mwa!
belle
Oh, and if you make it through all twenty-some chapters of Hip Hopera, taking a cry-bath afterword is completely normal.
Hey Fox,
How about that tackel on Devin… I thought he was going to run anouther one back. I hate to say this but too bad the D didnt let them score faster so our Offense could march… How about Karl?
oh sorry you guys lost…so close! you did a really good job though!
Man Fox,
I ought to leave Mason’s blog every now and then to come over here and read the delusions. Broncos on track? 5-6 record and you believe you guys are on track? WAWAWEEWA….Shanahan must be slipping you some extra dough under the table.
