About Miles
I’m not going to lie to you. I just copied and pasted from Laura’s (cheerleader) page here.
- Second year as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader (Miles has been admiring the cheerleaders for six seasons)
- Born in Toronto, Ontario, but I have lived in Denver for six years(Never been to Toronto, life-long Denver resident)
- Graduated from the University of Colorado in 2005 with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Economics (I can count to one on my hoof)
- Fluent in Spanish and spent four months living in Alicante, Spain (I know that Miles in Spanish is pronounced “me-laze”)
- I work as a business consultant for a firm based out of Japan, but all the work I have done has been local. In my job, I work out of our client’s office which is actually pretty neat. I change offices just about every four months to work on a new project and have been able to take a glimpse into industries like telecommunications, oil & gas, and aerospace & defense. Every time I change projects, my role changes drastically. In a year’s time, I’ve been involved with revenue assurance, organizational change management, process improvement, and designing and testing of complex systems. (That might as well have been Japanese. I just hang out with pro football players.)
- I began dancing when I was five years old, but stopped a couple years later to try out soccer, basketball, volleyball and basically every other sport that captured my attention. Almost a decade later, a close friend convinced me to get back into dance and we trained together for our high school dance team in Allen, Texas. We both made the team and since then, I have not stopped dancing. Now, I couldn’t image a life without dance in it. Dancing is my passion — it’s a creative outlet that both motivates and challenges me. Dance is a positive force in my life and I feel very lucky to be a part of the Denver Broncos Cheerleading team. (I’m a Dancing MACHINE(watch ya git down!) I also do pretty good at football when playing against a pee wee team.)
